Smoke Bomb 2
You may repel a foe with the power of shadow. Exhaust 1 Fire, say Repel by Smoke,
and strike the target with a packet.

Grasping Shadows 3
You may slow a foes pursuit. Exhaust 1 Earth, say Slow by Shadow, and strike the
target with a packet.

Lightning Reflexes 3
This skill allows you to dodge any one attack. Exhaust 3 points of Water to call Avoid
to any one packet, melee or thrown weapon attack.

Resist Poison 2
You may resist poison. Exhaust 1 Air to resist any one poison attack.

Nerve Strike 4
You may stun a foe. Exhaust 1 Fire to strike a foe from behind with a melee weapon and
call Stun. You may not be running when you use this skill.

Feign Death 2
You may feign death. Exhaust 1 Fire to answer yes or no as appropriate to any diagnose
questions so as to give the impression that you are dead. (i.e., Diagnose stable no,
Diagnose dead yes). You may feign death for no more than 5 minutes, answering a
series of questions from different people if necessary, without exhausting more fire.

Slit the Throat 3

You may silence a foe. Exhaust 1 Fire to strike a foe from behind with a melee weapon
and call Silence. You may not be running when you use this skill.

Poison Lore 2
You may apply poison to a melee, throwing, or missile weapon. Spend 10 seconds to
roleplay application. This skill does not provide you with poisons, which must be
acquired in game.

Shadow Step 2
You may take shadow form for a brief instant, allowing you to resist physical challenges.
Exhaust 1 Fire to resist one effect per contact with a physical challenge. This skill
requires the expenditure of 1 Fire for each such contact, even if the contacts are with the
same physical challenge.

Shadow of Death 5
You may strike a foe instantly dead. Exhaust 3 Water to strike a foe from behind with a
melee weapon and call Death. You may not be running when you use this skill.
Mask of Shadow 2
This skill allows you to don a plain black mask, representing the Shinobis featureless
visage. Exhaust 1 Earth to don the mask you must be alone and unobserved when you
do so. The mask becomes part of your body/spirit and may not be removed until dawn,
unless you choose to do so. Removing the mask has no cost, but the same conditions as
donning it must be observed.
