The Samsung Galaxy J series consists of mid-range smartphones. This picture is of Galaxy J3 2016 model.
Since September 2013, following the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy
Gear, model numbers start with SM-xxxx (excluding the Galaxy J SC-02F). Previously, from 2009
until September 2013, they started with GT-xxxx.

Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Gear, a smartwatch running Android 4.3, on September
4, 2013. The Galaxy Gear was Samsung's only smartwatch to feature "Galaxy" branding; later
Samsung smartwatches use the Samsung Gear branding.
In a software update, Samsung replaced the operating system of the Galaxy Gear from Android
to Tizen.
