Year 2: Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science (1259)


Why?
Griffith University students are required to purchase their own tools of trade. The
instruments will remain your property. Students are responsible for the continued
maintenance of their instruments/equipment and must keep all instruments/equipment in
good working order.

How was a decision made for each kit?
The School of DOH will appoint a preferred provider for the instrument kits

It is strongly recommended that you purchase your instrument kits from the preferred
provider(s) as these kits have been approved by the school

It is compulsory to purchase your bur kits from the preferred provider to ensure
compatibility with the handpieces in the labs

For any enquiries contact the staff members indicated for the respective kit

How do I order my instrument kits?
Order forms for the companies to which the tender was awarded will be sent to you by
email

Please TYPE your information onto these form, before printing and sending off to the
supplier

Place your order by the deadline date indicated on the form to avoid the risk of not
receiving your kit on time for the academic year

When will instrument kits be delivered to me?
The provider has the responsibility to arrange delivery to the student. In this regard the
school assists by making available a venue on the Gold Coast Campus where they can deliver
the kits to you.

Instrument kits will be handed out as follows at G40_Level 5 (PBL rooms and/or
G40_5.52A/B):
