Ongoing Study: AP Timed Writings, AP Multiple Choice Practice, In Context- Grammar, and Vocabulary and
Modern Language Association (MLA) Documentation Guidelines Adherence should occur all year in
conjunction with every unit.
Ongoing Study: The following critical perspective/lenses must be incorporated: Freud/Psychoanalysis,
Feminism/Gender, Economic/Marxist. It is strongly encouraged teachers include other critical
perspectives/lenses at their discretion in addition to the required aforementioned perspectives/lenses.
Other items that may be connected to a variety of units at teacher discretion include Film and/or Script Study and
Analysis, Multimedia Project, Literature Circles, and Required Non-Processed Writings.

This document constitutes a summary of the MINIMUM curricular requirements. Teachers are encouraged to supplement with
additional writing and readings as time allows.
