Installation of two units of Borri 9000FXS UPS in parallel for CATH Lab

This Agreement (the Agreement) made as of 14 Dec, 2016

BETWEEN:

M/s Electrotech
Basement1, United Plaza, blue area Islamabad

AND

Maroof International Hospital,

F-10 Markaz, Islamabad

WHEREAS Electrotech is in the business of providing technical solutions for installation of large
electrical equipment and their maintenance

AND

Maroof International Hospital is a private Hospital

Scope of the Work

Electrotech will be responsible to install two units of UPS in the CATH Lab of MIH whereas all the
UPS and related material as per attached list of items will be provided by the MIH.
General overhauling of both UPS
Batteries Testing and installation in batteries Rack
I/O and batteries Cables Synchronized with UPSs
Power UP UPSs One By One
Both of UPS`s Sync (Combined output of 108-115 KVA), Software testing and commissioning

Material and Equipment

At the moment, following material/ equipment is present at the site:

2 units of Borri 9000FXS UPS (60 KVA each)

100 dry batteries (150 AMP)
 Input DBies and Breakers
Battery bank
Battery Connectors

The purchase of required components/ material other than the existing one will not be the part of
this agreement. Those items will either be purchased from the Electrotech or from the market as per
the lowest quotations received by MIH at its own cost. List of the required items is attached as Anex-1.

Total payment/ Mode of Payment

30% of the payment will be made in advance IN CASH by the MIH, and remaining 70% will be
paid on the satisfactory completion of work after submission of satisfaction report by support services
department of MIH.

Total Installation Charges 130,000

Completion Time:

Completion time as per above scope of work shall be one week after the availability of required
components (Annex-1), and commissioning certificate will be provided by Electrotech. In case of delay
in installation a fine of 10% will be deducted from the installation charges of the Electrotech.

Indemnity in case of losses/damages

The Electrotech will bear the cost of any losses or damages during the installation and testing as
a result of wrong/ faulty wiring, short circuit to the equipment or any asset of MIH. A crossed cheque of
Rs 300,000 shall be submitted to HIM by Electrotech as indemnity security. It will be returned to
electrotech on satisfactory completion of the above work.

Services after installation

Electrotech will provide free of cost maintenance services for three months after commissioning
of UPS in case of any faults arises in the UPS. The client will only bear the cost of parts purchase during
maintenance.
