LIABITY IN SPECIAL CASES.

74. Liability in case of transfer of business. Where a dealer liable to pay tax
under the Act, transfers his business, in whole or in part, by sale, lease or license, hire or
any other manner, whatsoever, under sub-section (1) of section 67, the transferee of the
business, if he is an existing registered dealer, apply within fifteen days from the date on
which such transfer takes place for amendment of his certificate of registration under sub-
section (2) of section 67.
