shipment of goods is made within one year from the date of receipt of advance
payment; the rate of interest, if any, payable on the advance payment does not

whom the advance payment is received. Provided that in the event of the

the expiry of the said period of one year, without the prior approval of the
Reserve Bank of India.
Periodical updation of customers KYC Data. KYC data / information is to be
updated at least every 2 years for High risk, every 8 years for Medium risk and
every 10 years for Low risk customers.
(1) An SMS is being sent to all the Low risk customers, whose valid Mobile
number is available with the Bank, and whose KYC data is due for updation. Upon
receiving the confirmation by sending reply as NC from such customers that
there is no change in the address, relevant date of confirmation will be populated
automatically in the CBS against prescribed field of KYC Updation Date in (#)
details in menu option CUMM.
(2) An SMS Dear Customer, your KYC data is due for updation. please submit
address proof document in your branch is being sent to all the Medium and

All concerned are requested to ensure seeding of Aadhaar Numbers while
opening of accounts under PMJDY. While issuing RuPay cards to customers,
mandate for seeding of Aadhaar number be taken from customers and seeding
be done on daily basis.
CGTMSE has rejected the claims on certain grounds which can be resolved by:
1) Accounts are to be classified NPA as per the prudential norms fixed by the RBI
and the same be marked correctly on CGTMSE portal latest by the end of
subsequent quarter.
2) For accounts sanctioned on or before 31.12.2012, the claims are to be lodged
within a maximum period of one year from the date of NPA if date of NPA is after
lock in period.
06 3) For accounts sanctioned on or after 01.01.2013, the claims are to be lodged
MSME

lock in period.
(If Date of NPA is within Lock in period claim is to be lodged within one year from

4) Before lodgement of claim, recovery proceeding must have been initiated

been initiated under section of 13(4) of SAREFASI Act, the only issuance of recal
notice under SAREFASI Act cannot be construed as initiation of legal action unless

possession of the assets of the borrower is taken by circle office under Sec 13(4)
of the Act.
5) No collateral security be obtained in CGTMSE covered accounts. However,
Primary security should invariably charged to the bank.
6) On receipt of the Demand Advice, the requisite guarantee fee as indicated in
the Demand Advice is to be remitted by the Nodal Office to CGTMSE and of the
credit facility sanctioned shall be paid upfront to the Trust by the bank
availing of the guarantee cover within 30 days from the date of first
disbursement of credit facility or 30 days from the date of Demand
Advice (CGDAN) of guarantee fee which ever later or such period as
may be specified by the Trust.

Handling of payment assignments. In terms of Section 205C of the Companies
Act, 1956 the balance of the unpaid warrants outstanding after 7 years from the
date these become due for payment, is to be transferred to Investor Education
08 and Protection Fund (IEPF) established by the Central Government. As such, any

DEDUCTION OF INCOME-TAX AT SOURCE FROM THE SALARIES OF

already been clarified vide FD Circular No 05/2013 dated 08.03.2013.
(A)First, the User should generate a report on KYC updation in DAYRPT 10/63
in Production Server in CBS, to ascertain the Cust. Ids. whose KYC data is due for
updation Risk Category wise. Based on the volume, the user can generate the
Notices in a range by providing the Starting From Customer id To Customer Id for
a particular risk category.
(B)For generating Notices through system to those customers whose KYC data is
11 due for updation, the User will use menu option PTW in Production Server in
KYC-AML
17.03.2015 CBS. On generation of the Notices, the REMINDER1 date will be updated with the
system date and after 3 months REMINDER2 will be stored in the table.
(C)To enquire the Reminder status for any particular customer, a new menu
KYCIN will be provided to the branches to inquire the details and mode of notice

(D)The revised SMS / e-mail being sent to Low risk categorized
customers is appended below:

Upon receiving the KYC documents from the customers, whose KYC
data is due for updation, branches are advised to enter KYC
documents in the respective fields i.e. ID Proof / Address Proof
(wherever applicable) and also update the field KYC updation date in
menu option CUMM (#) details in CBS. KYC documents obtained from
such customers must be filed with the relevant Account Opening Form
(AOF).
DEBT RESTRUCTURING MECHNISM FOR MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM
ENTERPRISES (DRM for MSME) all viable MSME accounts eligible under

unmarked in CBS through RSAM menu option.

Revised process for registering/modifying/disabling SMS Alerts. As per
RBI guidelines, Bank has to charge for SMS alerts from customers based on the
number of SMS alerts send. Customers are to be provided with option of having
mandatory and non-mandatory SMS alerts. Accordingly system has been enabled
to capture these options in ALERTS menu. The categorization of customer has
been done on the basis of circular no. TBD Circular No: 43/ 2011. Only
following customers are eligible to receive alerts:
Retail Individual, Joint, Sole. Prop.,Partnership - having constitution code
001,002,009,011 Corporate customer Constitution code 001,002. Constitution
06 code 999 is not categorised

14.03.2015 Process of registering SMS alerts for retail as well as corporate will now be done
from ALERTS menu only. There will be no role of CUMM for modifying or
disabling alerts. At the time of creation of new customer id in CUMM or through
CUMMUPL menu, alerts will be registered automatically subject to the condition
that valid mobile number has been provided (this is only for constitution code
001 and 002). Alerts will be classified as mandatory alerts and non-mandatory
alerts. To incorporate the said changes, a new field non-mandatory alert has been
introduced in ALERTS menu. Valid values for non-mandatory alerts field are:
Y customer will receive all SMS- mandatory alerts and non-mandatory alerts.
N - customer will not receive SMS non-mandatory alerts and SMS charges will

If customer wants to discontinue SMS alerts, then branch has to execute
DISABLE (D) option in ALERTS menu which will disable mandatory alerts and
