Project Planning: Preparation of detailed plans


Interfacing with various disciplines to deliver and maintain consistent and realistic plans and control
structures (L1/L2/L3 level schedules for the Project in Primavera).
Organizing the project as per the WBS structure and responsibility hierarchy.
Development of Rolling Programs.
Coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure proper understanding of the key schedule sensitivities and
drivers.
Project Estimations: Budgeting, Cost Estimations and activity, resource & man-hours Estimation & Controls
Phase wise Planning & Estimation of resources for the Project.
Tracking Project pay-outs and cost escalations based on variations/change orders raised. Report cost
performance on a monthly basis
Preparation of periodic invoicing plan and cash collection plan of the project.

Project Controls: S-Curves, MPCS


Monitoring & controlling the overall progress and computing time & Cost Variance.
Preparation of project S-curves and preparing revised (catch up) plan, if required.
Review scope change requests for the impact on schedules & Critical path of the project.
Progress Monitoring/ Reporting as a part of MIS
Critical Path Analysis (CPA), Float Analysis, Variance Trend Analysis & Recommendations for recovery.
Indication of critical & non-critical areas of the project along with constraints and front availability
information.
Develop Status Reporting Framework and implement throughout the planning hierarchy. Provide regular
and comprehensive schedule status reports to Project Director
Preparing the MIS Reports for the top management. Daily, Weekly & Monthly progress update, forecast,
critical path and trend analysis.
Publishing monthly contracts management & financial report to management.
Report deviations & follow up with concerned for necessary action.
Management of Receivables
Preparation, submission and approval of various project commercial documents such as Billing Breakup,
Project Authority Certificate, Essentiality Certificate, High Sea Sales Agreement etc.
Co-ordination for Project Securities
Keeping track of all indemnity bonds and timely renewal of all Bank Guarantees.
Ensuring timely renewal of BGs submitted to client to avoid commercial setback.
Ensuring that timely communication is passed to vendor for renewal BG if required.
Risk Management
Risk Identification, Classification, Action Plans making, Quantification, Prioritization, Responsibility matrix
preparation & Monitoring.
Prepare reconciliation between earlier schedules and the current schedule.
Contribute to the development of the projects risk profiles and translate these into the plans using
deterministic and probabilistic analysis methods, as appropriate.
Regularly track the schedule risk mitigation efforts, the criticality of the main paths to completion, float
consumption and the release of the schedule contingency.
Claim Management
Preparation & submission of claims to client as well as contractor.
Submission of interest claim to client for delay in certification and payment of bills.
Filed Liquidated Damages to supplier for delay in completion of supplies.
Review of supplier performance of delivery of goods as per the conditions of contract and preparation of
approval note for Recovery of applicable LD & Release of applicable retention payment.
Follow-up with client for timely certification and payment of bills.
Time Extension
Working with the team entrusted with preparation of Time Extension case.
Preparing documental evidence to substantiate delay solely attributable to client & under Force Majeure.
