**1. The Power of Information Final Report**
The final version of the [1]Taskforce Report was published on
March 4th 2009.
There are plans to circulate this widely. The Cabinet Office
site where it is published
has now been closed for comments but feedback on the report is
still welcome. A

**2. The Guardian Questions Census, the Future of PAF and OS's
Revenue Target**
The Guardian has followed up on the question put by the
Opposition about the price
of the one-off census address database for 2011. It turns out
that this has risen
from £10 million to £12m in the space of just a few short

**1. Important FTP IP Address Changes**
Intelligent Addressing is making some enhancements to its
technical infrastructure
on the evening of Friday 24th April 2009; this will mean the FTP
IP address for
the NLPG server will change. This may require your IT department
to make a small
configuration change to allow you to continue to access the NLPG
FTP server at
a new address. To allow you to plan the configuration change our
FTP server will
be available on both the new (195.171.25.164) and old
(195.171.101.179) IP address
for a changeover period of 4 weeks; from Friday April 24th 2009
to Friday May 22nd
2009.
**Please note** The date has changed since the last Ezine.

**4. DTF7.1**
As you are aware the new NSG in DTF7.1 will be published on
April 6th 2009. From
April submission the NSG will only be able to accept files in
the new format. All
data in the hub will be upscaled and published in the new DTF7.1
for downloaders
to use. If you are unable to make a submission in the new DTF7.1
and would like
to discuss alternatives please do not hesitate to contact the
helpdesk.
