MCT/ MST recommendation

Need to use good instruction so students will know what they should do.

Communication skills.
Goal To have a good language and good instructions that will fit students level of understanding.

Action Points I will observe my MST how she is using the language with the students and I will look for videos on
YouTube to see how teachers interact with young children. Also, I will practice with my niece to see my
negative ways and improve them.

When I was in semester three in 2017. I had my teaching practice in local school which is in Alheera School, which located in Alkuzuam area. The
observation was only by my MST for grade 4 students. I was teaching their final unit project and the project was about making a poster that
provide questions or a booklet that include sentences using puzzles and codes. But in that day I dont know how I will teach students the project
because when I came to the school, students have finished the unit. Also, I dont give students enough instructions and I gave them only one
example because I dont have enough knowledge about that topic. So, that was the main problem to me and that considered as communication
skills. Now, Im focusing to provide many examples, model the learning and find different ways to teach students. As I research I found that,
there are many ways to have a good communication skills with students, the teacher should do things step by step, give many examples, link the
lesson to personal experiences and use fun materials (Webster, 2010).

MCT/ MST recommendation Need to make the writing ideas activities more simply for the students grade and need to give
students more chance to practice writing.

Goal To make a lesson with clear learning objectives and appropriate activities.
Action Points To find on the internet effective learning objectives that will fit the lesson aims and see some examples
how I will write good learning objectives . Also, look for some ideas about activities that are appropriate
for this grade.

because my knowledge was so limited on that topic. I only followed the examples on the book and that was the main problem on that lesson. I
read many different things but this book is very useful to plan for learning you should think about high learning objectives, do things step by
step, make different learning activities for different levels, use different activities which include different multiple intelligence and use
independent and shared activities (Berman and Overdrive, 2015).
