Reset any existing calibration

in Tablet PC settings.
Press Win key, type "Run"
Copy and paste the following Enviar un nuevo enlace

Run the command, allow
permissions, go through the
calibration.

This makes for near perfect pen

accuracy, but it's never going to be
perfect. Corners will still be messed
up, but that's how it works,
apparently. More X and Y points can
be added to the lists for even more
precision. Each number just
corresponds to the X or Y coordinate
of a pixel on the screen.

Built-in calibration is 16 points, I believe, and then it
predicts the rest from that data. By using this Surface Pro 3
command it adds more points, which since it has The Latest News
more data to refer to, can make it more accurate

Sure! It isn't hard to figure out. For this grid I started

with a 10 pixel border and added fixed lines at 50
and 100 pixels in from there. (That's 10,60,110 in the
XGridPts list.) I then went in from the 60 pixel
border, so the remaining numbers are in increments
of ((full resolution) - (60*2)) / 6). For X that added up
nicely to 1800 / 6 = 300. (360,960, etc.)
Divide by a higher number for more calibration
points!

tracker still shows up to the right and down from where I dsruby the dancing ad is cool
want it. Almost as if it's tracking from the root of the nib XZQT .exe

That's more of an issue with the pen, not the
calibration. You can always file the nib down, use the
pen in a perpendicular fashion, or calibrate while
holding the pen at your preferred angle.

Make sure you hold it at the same tilt as you would otherwise. Don't hit the crosshairs with the pen
being perpendicular to the glass. It is because the part in the digitizer that it recognizes is at the root
of the nib (know this from experience with other digitizers). So if you do it at a different angle when
calibrating than when you hold it, it will stray more in the direction of the root than staying at the tip.

Damn. Didn't do much. I found that even with the 100 point calibration test, the default still gave me
better accuracy. I guess it's due to the way I hold my pen. Thanks though!

I've tried this a couple of times now, and it seems to do nothing. After it's done the calibration appears
unchanged, and the Tablet PC Settings pane hasn't changed like it normally does to indicate that custom
calibration is in effect (opening up the Reset button, for one thing).

I have done this like 20 times now and have restared my computer twice. I am still getting the same
