Review: What is matter? What are the three States of matter?
Motive: Pictures of Ice water, Liquid Water, and Vapor.
What are shown in the pictures?
What are their similarities?
What makes them different from one another?
How molecules do behave in Solid?
How molecules do behave in Liquid?
How molecules do behaves in Gas?
Gases, liquids and solids are all made up of atoms, molecules, and/or
ions, but the behaviors of these particles differ in the three phases.
Lets see how atoms behave
Group activity: Let me see(pages 180 181)
Materials: Transparent Plastic bags, Papers (used), Scissor, and pen.
First: Cut papers into small pieces. Open one plastic bag and put 15 small
pieces papers and label Gas.
Second: Open another plastic bag and put 40 small pieces of paper and
label it liquid.
Third: Open another plastic bags and put plenty of papers until its full and
label it Solid.
Put air to each plastic bag and seal with rubber band.
Choose any plastic bags containing paper shake gradually and let the
members of the group observed. Answer the guide questions.

What does paper represent in this activity?
Are the molecules in gas having regular arrangement?
Are the molecules in solid can move freely?
How interactions of paper from each bag differ from one another?
How molecules (papers) interact in Solid?
How molecules (papers) interact in Liquid?
