Dear Soccer Fan,

Every four years, the world gathers for the FIFA World Cup™, and the stage is set in South Africa for 2010! Cartan Tours
is proud to be appointed by MATCH Services as a Participating Tour Operator to distribute Tickets and Travel Programs for
the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in the United States. I hope you will join us for this historical time as South Africa becomes the
first country on the African continent to host the FIFA World Cup™.

We have 30 years of experience specializing in providing travel programs to major sporting events such as the Winter
and Summer Games, so you can rest assured that our programs will include all the components needed for a
hassle-free experience. South Africa regularly hosts major sporting events, and since 1994 has successfully managed
some of the world’s biggest – including the 1995 Rugby World Cup and more recently the 2005 and 2006 Women’s
World Cup of Golf. The experience they’ve gained from hosting these events has created a strong infrastructure, and they
are further preparing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ by upgrading and building new stadiums, and making improvements
to the country’s transportation systems. South Africa is also known for its wine country and safari excursions, so be sure
to include these options in your trip planning. As you will see, we are offering an array of programs and we are sure
you will find one to fit your needs.

As they say in Sesotho, a Bantu language and one of the 11 official languages of South Africa, “Ke Nako!” – which in
English means, “It’s Time” to come to South Africa and let us welcome you the Cartan way.

Sincerely,

David G. Elmore

Exclusive 2010 FIFA World Cup™ Travel

Programs – Included Features & Services
TRAVEL WITH CARTAN
Cartan has carefully investigated accommodations, transportation, and locations in South Africa to develop travel packages for
varying needs, budgets, and desires. Cartan’s program offerings provide all the components you need for a thrilling 2010 FIFA
World Cup™ experience.

ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotels are reserved years in advance of the World Cup to accommodate the great number of international delegates, sports
representatives, and members of the media who attend in an official capacity. The result is an extremely high demand for hotel
rooms when the needs of visiting spectators are included. Due to this unprecedented demand, room reservations will not be
available for single night stays in any of the venue cities in South Africa.

Anticipating this demand, Cartan has secured space for our program for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ in a variety of
hotels using Cape Town and Johannesburg as our selected Package cities. Cartan has selected these two Package cities to
serve as base camps for our program guests. This will allow us to help our guests with match-day travel needs within South
Africa after the draw determines where each team will play throughout the World Cup. Cartan’s program packages for the
2010 FIFA World Cup™ are classified by the quality and location of the hotel and the amenities that are included in the program.
Our travel packages are categorized as Standard, Superior, and Deluxe.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is an integral part of Cartan’s program for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. Both your arrival and departure will be
eased by our staff’s welcome and direction to Cartan’s exclusive transportation.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup™ venues are spread throughout South Africa in cities that will require either a motorcoach transfer
or an airline flight on Match Day. Since the venue location for Team USA Matches will not be known until the Final Draw has
taken place on December 4, 2009, the mode of transportation to/from the venues and the additional cost involved cannot
be determined until after that time. The additional cost for Match Day transportation will be added to your Travel Package once
it can be determined.

CARTAN’S ON-SITE CONCIERGE SERVICE

Our program for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ is designed to ensure a worry-free trip from start to finish. Dedicated and
attentive, our Program Managers and Local Staff will be at your service to provide assistance with:
• Airport Navigation • Luggage Handling
• Transportation • Local Sightseeing and Activities
• Restaurant Reservations

Airlines & Airfares
Cartan’s Package pricing for the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ does not include airfare
in the published quote. However, FIFA is requiring that all official tour operator
packages must be sold inclusive of airfare in and out of South Africa. Upon
confirmation of package booking, we will quote you the lowest available airfare
at that time based on your request. As a Participating Tour Operator, we are given

priority by the airlines to block seats for the FIFA World Cup™, and we are confident
we can get you the best possible options for your air travel.

At the time of submitting your booking, please be sure to complete the air
portion of the booking form so that our air reservations department can request
your preferred class of service and routing.
