TEMPORARY TELEPHONISTS & DATA ENTRY STAFF

The Student Engagement Unit is seeking telephone and data entry staff to work 3/4 weekday
evenings a week, up to 4 hours per evening (with the possibility of some afternoon and weekend
work) for up to 4 weeks from the 29th January 2018.

Main purpose of the job:


The telephoning work is related to the annual survey of graduate employment and further study
Destination of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE). The work involves telephoning recent
graduates and working through an online questionnaire to establish their current employment or
further study circumstances.

You will need to have the following skills & abilities:

A confident telephone manner

Good verbal communication skills

Good listening skills

Attention to detail

Ability to accurately transfer information simultaneously to an on online system

Awareness of confidentiality issues

Welsh speaking ability is essential for some of the posts, but not all

TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED

Payment: 7.20 per hour

Applicants must be available for interview on the 18 December 1pm - 4pm and for the
Training Shift on 29 Jan at 4pm to 8.30pm
