1. Chapter 1 The Safafan Stronghold

1.1 Hunt Moebius down within the Stronghold

Ok, I assume you know the controls and are only using this guide as
reference material. Here we go again.

Run up and Kill the two Safafan guards, now jump on the dumpster
and then jump to the neaby platform. Use this platform to jump
across, and climp up the structure. Fall down then climb up the
next structure. Fall down again and run to the next area, then
through the double doors. Walk over to the cracked wall and jump
up to climb it. At the top walk to the gate and phase through it.
After the cutscene, do what you will, with the girl. Walk forward
into the mess hall, their are some people here you can feed on,
when done, go left at the table and up the nearby steps. Dont
bother with the alcoves theirs nothing inside. Go up the nearby
steps and into the room with the red object, break it to get
a HEALTH TALISMAN. Go back out and follow the path to the girl
go left into the room, their is nothing at the top of the stairs.
Break the wall using the Reaver and go through. After the scene
walk to the end and jump up the metal pump, use it to glide
across the water. Walk to the end of the path and climb up the
wall, jump off it to reach the metal platform. Climb up the wall
here, at the top follow the wooden bridge to get a TK RUNE. Go
through the opening and down the hall, phase through the gate at
the end.

1.2 Enhance Reaver to destroy barriers

Remember this area as you will be coming back. Go through the


opening on the left, by the flag. In this room you will have
to deal with the Sarafan, use TK to make them fall of the
ledge, after that phase through the nearby gate. In this area
jump over the small ledge and approach the statue. It's a
statue of Malek, you may remember him from such games as
Blood Omen and Soul Reaver 2. The doors nearby will open when
you get some items for Malek. Right let's get those items. Go
through the door directly behind the statue. Navigate through
this hall the arrow machines can be annoying but are easy to
kill. Go through the door on the end. Here is the first
checkpoint. Go forward and the door will lock. Before the gate
their is a ARCANE TOME to the right and a BLOOD BANK to the left.
Go through to the chapel and as you approach the EMBLEM the
Sarafan attack, it's amazing the way the door is attuned to their
lifeforce. Grab the BALANCE EMBLEM and the Sarafan attack again,
kill them.

1.2 Destroy the blessed barriers


The Reaver can now open doors with the skull symbol. Use the
Reaver to open the door on the left, then go through. This hall
is the same as the other hall, earlier, make your way to the
end and go through the door. Kill the Sarafan that attack, Kain
will then go to a nearby door an examine it, remember this location
for later. Follow the path to the right of the door for an opening.
Go through the double doors. In this area, deal with the Sarafan
that attack. You should notice a glowing pillar by the blue door.
Break it using the Reaver and climb up. Phase through the gate
on top. Drop into the room below and go over to the training
dummy with the red symbol under it. Perform the various actions
it requires, then do the same for all the other dummys to reveal
a cracked wall above. Go up, break the wall and grab the HEALTH
TALISMAN.

Drop down again, and through one of the alcoves below, will be a
brown door, go through it. Feed here if need be then climb up
the nearby wall. Break the contraption above to lower the bridge.
Drop down and make your way across the bridge, and through the
double doors at the end of the hall. You should now be in a
familiar place. Kill the Sarafan that attack to open the gate
ahead. You still wont be able to open the doors with the symbols
yet, so go through the opened gate back to where you met the
first symbol door. Kill the Sarafan and use the Reaver on the
door and go through.

1.3 Seek out Moebius' chambers

Go into the nearby opening and deal with the turret ahead. Make
you way to the bottom of the room and go through the opening on
the end. Go left at the brown door and through the room with
the barrels until you arrive at the Save point. Go down to
the red circle, you can use these to long jump, strange how
it takes a red circle to do it, but anyway. Use TK on the rocks
to break them, then glide over to the platform. Use TK on the
rocks again then glide over to the platform. Grab the HEALTH
TALISMAN on the left here, the walk back and you will notice
another platform. After gliding over use TK on the switch above the
door tp open it, go through for a meeting with the time streamer.

1.4 Destroy Shades and pursue Moebius

Do exactly that.

2. Chapter 2 The Underworld

2.1 Find a way out of the caverns

Raziel looks like he's been on the Atkins. Run down the steps and
go left along the path and climp up the platform. Glide to the other
platform and then glide to the platform across from you. Climb up
the steps, see the small platform below the Elder God's eye, glide
to it. Use this platform to glide over to the exit. At the SAVE POINT
walk forward, after the scene jump to the platform oposite. Use this
platform to glide over to the walkway on the left. Here walk to the
end, near the eye, and jump to the walkway nearby. The Elder God
will command that you eat some Souls, six en all. Eat the one nearby
and a light, or eye will close. Theirs is one floating on the left,
walk to the edge to be able to eat it. Float back to the walkway by
the big eye and eat the soul there. Go back to the blocked opening
with the lights and this time float to the platform on the right. Eat
the soul here and walk to the edge of this walkway and eat the soul
floating in between the platforms. Float over to the next platform and
eat the last soul. Dont worry if you fall in, you will always come back,
and you wont have to eat anything you didn't already. After all the Souls
are eaten the Elder gives an ominious message, the type I usually gave
to my X girlfiriend. Proceed to the exit. Here glide to the area below
and as you approach the exit some Sluagh will emerge, kill them to
open a way forward. In the next area float to the platform ahead of
you, this will activate a timed challenge. Walk forward by the blue
eye and jump to the walkway across. The Elder God will break the
floor ahead. Jump over the gap and walk to the end of this path, you
will see a SAVE SYMBOL on you left, now jump and float straight ahead.
Aim for the wall with the lines to grab onto it. Climb up and back flip
to the platform behind you. As you walk along this path the Elder God
will break the floor again, jump over the gap he creates. Climb the
steps and follow the path to a climbable wall. Climb up the wall
and backflip onto the platform behind. Float over to the platform
straight ahead, then float over to the next platform. Climb up the
step here and the Elder God will break the walkway again. Float over
the gap, and he will do it again. Float over to the next platform and
climb up the steps, now see the hanging platform jump to it for your
life.

2.2 Seek and exit from the crypts

At the SAVE POINT go right and Raziel will mention something about
swimming up. Go back out, and go right until you see a small set
of steps. Climb up the steps and jump up the step and to the next
platform. Glide to the walkway on the left and when you face the
two pillars jump to the platform, with the steps, ahead. Climb the
steps and jump and float to the climbable wall ahead. Raziel will
mention something about returning to the physical realm. Turn around
and jump and float to the walkway across the way. Go through the
opening and up the steps, some bandersnatch will attack. Make your
way through, forget the climbable wall and run ahead and up the steps.
In this room the Elder God will taunt Raziel. See the bars by the
white door ahead, climb up and pass through them.

2.3 Defeat the Archons

Do exactly that.

3. Chapter 3 The Sarafan Stronghold continued

3.1 Take the Falcon Insignia

Defeat the Shades and take the glowing FALCON SYMBOL ahead.

3.2 Use Falcon Insignia on sealed door

Go up the steps ahead and go right. You will see what looks like
a climbable wall ahead, break the wall using the Reaver. Climb the
wall and break the wall ahead. Go through the double doors ahead,
you should be now in a familiar place. Go ahead into the mess hall
and you will be attacked by some Shades, kill them all. The way
you left last time is blocked so use the double doors on the top
of the stairs. Here climb the stairs and go over to what looks
like another climbable wall, again break the wall using the Reaver
and climb up. Break the wall ahead and go through the double doors.
Were back in the chapel, go out the open gate and approach the big
door and you will be attacked, kill everyone to open the big door
and go through. Go to the end of the hall and through the doors.
Your now back in Maleks statue area. Go to the doors on the left and
you will be attacked, kill everyone and go through the door to the left
of the statue. Walk down the hall and across the bridge and go through
the small brown door here. In this room where the dummys were you will
be attacked again, after you have killed everyone climb up the wall.
Approach the SAVE POINT for a cutscene. Drop to the floor below and
kill the Sarafan that attack. Go right of the blue door and enter
the double doors. Go through the hallway and into the room beyond, as
you approach the Weird door the Sarafan will attack, kill them. Place
the Falcon Insignia on the door to open it.

3.3 Recover Malek's missing shield

Go through the hall and up both sets of stairs. On top, go left through
the opening, and go through the double doors. Walk along this path until
you reach more doors, go through. Here go forward and long jump to the
other side. Use TK to hit the switch above the door and go through.
Here grab the chest and push it into the square hole near it. Grab
MALEKS SHIELD.

3.4 Return the shield to Malek's statue

As you leave the room some Shades will attack, kill them. Leave the
area and in the chapel area drop to the floor below. Kill the Sarafan
and leave through the double doors near the SAVE POINT. Go through the
hall and go through the double doors. Your back in Malek's courtyard,
go over to the statue and place the shield on it, to open the door
ahead.

3.5 Recover Malek's missing sword

Go over to the door with the shield on it and go through. Go up the steps
and through the hall, your now above the courtyard. Go around the path
killing the archers as you go until you get the TK RUNE. Go back the other
way and through the double doors. Here dont jump off the path, kill the
Sarafan, you can use TK to knock them off. Go up the sloap, and here you
should see another Malek statue. Go up to the statue and grab the Sword.

3.6 Return the sword to Malek's statue

The Sarafan will attack again so kill them. Now go down the other sloap
and follow the path until you get a HEALTH TALISMAN. Go back the way you
came and through the double doors again. Drop down into the courtyard
and place the sword on the statue.

3.7 Seek Moebius out in the tower

Go through the now open sword door. Go up the steps and through this
hall, watch out for the turrets. You will see a climbable wall, climb
up and bash the contraption. Drop down and the Sarafan will attack.

3.8 Find the Decorative Sword


See the glowing door with the sword symbol on it, that's the door
you need to open. Go left and up the steps and bash the contraption
there. Go back down, now the drawbridge beside the Sword door will be
open. Go outside and deal with the Sarafan. You can use TK to throw them
into the statues on the bridge, which is cool. Once done, go over to the
red circle and long jump to the other side. Climb up the wall and up top
break the contraption. See the wall beside it, break it with the Reaver.
Do the same again and break the contraption in this room. Go back out
and fall through the alcove on the left. Here go forward to the SAVE POINT,
see the shiny sword near the wall, grab it.

3.9 Return Sword to emblem door

The Sarafan will attack yet again, so kill them. See the Double doors by
where you got the sword you will return here later, in the mean time, go
back out and long jump to the the bridge. Kill the Sarafan that are here
and go back inside to where the sword door was, and open it.

3.10 Find the Flame Emblem

Go through the door and the hall until you reach the SAVE POINT. In
this room will be a small puzzle, see the object in the middle of the
room press action on it to turn it. Turn it twice to open the door
ahead, grab the FLAME EMBLEM.

3.11 Proceed to the tower

You can now use TK to light torches. You can light the two torches
by the closed door to open it and get an ARCANE TOME if you like.
Ok go back to the bridge, cross it and this time go through the double
doors I mentioned earlier. Approach the big pillars and use TK to light
the torches on top. This will lower some steps go up until you see the
switch on the wall, use TK on it. More steps will appear so go up until
you reach the next switch, use TK on that also. Jump the two last steps
and walk to the end of the hall, then go through the double doors. After
the meeting with Moebius grab the HEALTH TALISMAN nearby and go outside.
Use bat form to fly away.

Chapter 4 The Cemetery

4.1 Find a means to shift into material

You may as well kill the Sluagh that attack, they will only get in your
way. Go forward through the opening and take the right path, you should
see a candle and some tombstones. Continue along until the path goes
left and you see some steps and a door. Go through the door and follow
this path to the end. You will come to a courtyard and some souls, eat
them to trigger some Shades and kill them. After the barrier is lowered
climb up one of the window ledges and phase through the bars. Here
approach the purple smoke and change to the physical realm.

4.2 Investigate door in first crypt

You will see a smokey object nearby, these can be struck to charge the
Reaver. As you approach the opening charge stone the sentries will close
the door, you will have to find a means to stop them. Go over to the
door by the windows and go through. In the spectral Realm, you cannot
open doors but in the physical it's easy. Knowing where to utiilize each
realm is the key to victory, with Raziel. Outside some bandersnatch will
attack, avoid, or kill them and make you way back the path to this place.
As you approach the cemetery some vampire hunters will attack, you have
to kill them to lower the barrier. The way to the other crypt with the
sentries will now be blocked by a door. Go forward and as you do Raziel
will spot the entrance to the Light Reaver shrine. Go back to the wall
outside the first crypt, you should notice a container on the left opening
of the wall, it's a HEALTH TALISMAN. Go through the opening in the wall
and through the door beyond. Inside you will be attacked by a new enemy
the Revenants. You must kill them to progress. After that go into the
hall beyond and down the steps, more Revenant will attack. Dont bother
with the climbable wall just yet, carry back to the room with the water.
Jump in and dive to the bottom. Find the opening in the wall and swim
through. Swim up from the big symbol on the ground and get out of the
water. See the pillar ahead, grab it and pull it from the wall, jump
on it and jump to the ledge across, grab the shield. Jump back into
the water and swim back into the room you were before. Get out of the
water, see the door with the shield beside it, go over there and place
the shield into position.

4.3 Find a path to the elevated temples

Go through the door and the hallway, and through the double doors.
The Revenant will attack again so kill them to drop the barrier. When
done go up the steps nearby, when you reach the gate change to the
spectral realm and phase through the gate. The pillar ahead has been
lowered, so fly over to it, and then jump into the opening across.
Go through the hall. Some Bandersnatch will attack you on the way.
Outside, Raziel will spot the Light Reaver Shrine door.

4.4 Acquire the Dark Reaver

Use the nearby portal to change back to physical. Some pesky Humans
will attack so you wil have to deal with them. Lets not worry about
this area for now, so go through the double doors nearby. Go through
this hall until the Revenant attack, kill them to lower the barrier
and press on up the steps. Go through the double doors, your now above
the cemetery. Fly over to the ledge opposite, deal with the Humans and
grab the TK RUNE. Fly over to the ledge with the door and go
inside. Go down the steps and through the hall until you reach more
Revenant, kill them to lower the barrier. Go through the double doors
on the end. Once outside shift to Spectral and climb the platform
ahead. Use this to fly over to the ledge with the door with the sparks.
Use the portal to change back to physical, then use the Soul Reaver to
open the door. Here use the charge stone nearby to power up the Reaver
by striking it. Drop to the floor below and some shades will attack,
dispose of them. The portal nearby will activate so go through it.

After the scene go around the hall and Shades will attack, so kill them.
At the SAVE POINT change to spectral and phase through the gate here.
Drop to the bottom floor and deal with the Sluagh. Go through the
openings until you find the portal back to the physical realm. Once
back the Revenant will attack, kill them to lower the barrier and
go outside. Bandersnatch are all over the place so deal with them. Now
approach the glowing fountain nearby and use it to forge the Reaver.

4.5 Open the Light temple

That was easy, wasnt it. The Dark reaver has different properties
to the normal one so it can open doors that adorn it's symbol.
Walk around the room until you see two golden orbs. Use the Dark
Reaver to extinguish them both, this will open the portal home.
Their is a HEALTH TALISMAN in the room behind the GOLDEN DOOR use
the Reaver to break it. When you are done sight seeing you can leave
the Shrine by going into the room with the climbable wall and well
climbing it. This will lead back to the portal so go through it.
Back in the cave try and exit and you will be blocked by two sentry
drones, remember these guys. Well you can use your new Dark Reaver to
get past them, use the charge stone nearby to power up. Back away
from the door and hold down attack and release to turn invisible,
this is a power that the Dark Reaver has. You can now exit, the Sentries
wont be able to see you in this state. Remember to change back to the
normal Reaver to open the door. Outside jump down and go through the
double doors. Go through this building and back outside. An animation
will play showing you where you need to go. Drop down and go over to
the door with the sparks with the Reaver symbol. Use the Dark Reaver
to open the door. Follow the path to the next building and go inside.

Remember this place. Dispose of the Revenant and use the same method as
you did before to get past the Sentries. Go through the double doors
and phase through the bars at the end of the hallway. An animation
will play detailing what you need to do. Kill the Sluagh and use the
portal nearby to change back to physical. Climb the steps you will
notice a door that needs an object to open it. Fly across to the
platform then change to the Spectral Realm. The platform beyond will
move towards you, fly over to it. Fly into the opening beyond, after
the scene use the portal to change back to physical. Grab the shield
and kill the Revenant to lower the barrier. Go through the broken
bars and up the steps for more Revenant. Go into the room beyond to
see a bust of Kain, turn it so if faces the door, and go through.
Kill the Shades and go up the steps and place the shield in the door
to open it. Exit and push the pillar to the ground below. Pull it
so it lines up with the door then use the platform nearby to fly to
it. Use the Dark Reaver to open the door.

4.6 Acquire the Light Reaver

Right this is tricky to figure out at first. Drop to the bottom floor
and go over to the light source. You will see a beam of light emanating
from it. There is a climbable wall to the right of the portal, climb
up and grab the FACETED ORB. Walk along this path until you reach the
Light Reaver sign. Use TK on the rocks above to open the light source.
Drop to the floor below and place the Orb on the central object to
open the portal, go through.

After the scene go left until you reach the broken portal and the SAVE
POINT. Change to spectral and phase through the gate here. Drop to the
bottom floor and deal with the Sluagh until you can use the portal here.
When back go over to the Font and forge the Reaver yet again.

4.7 Unlock the Pillars gate

A new enemy will be released, I call these guys Golems. Kill it to


open the various doors around here. Theirs nothing much in the two
others rooms apart from an Arcane tome, so when your done break the
golden cracked door down. Go inside and climb up to the top and drop
to the floor below. Walk out and around the walkway until you reach
the Dark smoke object. Strike it with the Reaver, this will activate
one half of the portal. Go back out and continue around the path until
you reach the next Dark object. The portal will activate once you hit
it. Continue along until you reach the same gate you initially phased
through. Change to spectral and go through it again. Kill the Sluagh
until you can use the portal at the end of this hall. Once back use
the portal to exit the Light Shrine.

Your back here. If you try and exit Shades will attack, so kill them
to lower the barrier. The exit will only open if you use the Dark
Reaver, remember to observe the symbols by the doors. Outside drop
down and go through the double doors beyond the fire. Go through this
building some Revenant will attack inside. Outside, as you approach the
ledge, an animation will play showing you where you need to go. Drop
down and locate the building you first emerged from, the one where you
escaped the Elder god. Dont go in, but go right from this area. You will
find a path that leads to the Pillars gate. The door will have a Dark
and Light Reaver symbol to each side. Use the Light Reaver on the Light
symbol area and vice versa. Depart for the pillars.

Chapter 5 The Pillars in the age of the Sarafan

5.1 Explore west of Pillars clearing

The Sarafan are in their droves here, deal with them until you can
move about freely. Dont worry about the torches just yet. Carry on
until the scene plays at the Pillars. Go right of the Pillars, dont
jump in the water just yet. Grab the HEALTH TALISMAN and go back
to the Pillars. This time go left and phase through the golden gate.
Follow this path until you reach the structure and the Sarafan attack.
Kill the Sarafan so you have freedom to move. Ok see the coiled pillar
by the Blood Bank, break it with TK. Climb up the now broken pillar
and then the wall across. Jump over to the next ledge and their will
be more Sarafan to contend with. Deal with the remaining Sarafan and
continue along the path until the scene.

5.2 Search for missing Emblem fragment

Grab the STONE DISC that's glowing nearby. Make your way back to the
Pillars dealing with the Sarafan along the way. From the Pillars go
back to the area where you first arrived with the torches. Place
the STONE DISC on the grey stone marking near the torches, this
will raise a pillar. Light the two torches by the wall using TK, now
pull the pillar so the point faces the closed opening and it will open.
Go through and down the path until you reach the SAVE POINT. Kill the
Shades that attack. This next part is timed so if you fail you can do
these steps again. See the Green Head scultpture, blast it with TK
to reveal a switch. Hit the Switch with TK to cause some platforms to
jet out from the wall. Go to the platform to the left of the switch
and jump up, use this to jump to the platform that came out from the
wall and jump from this to the top platform, grab the EMBLEM. Get the
TK RUNE in this area.

5.3 Return to vista with Dimension Emblem

As you leave this area some Shades will attack so deal with them. The
opening is closed, so you will have to use the same method you used
before to open it. Go back to the Pillars, the Sarafan are all over
the place, but they shouldn't pose any threat. Go left of the pillars
as before and phase through the golden gate. Follow the path to the
structure and climb up the coiled pillar, like you did before, and climb
to the top. You must kill all the Sarafan before the barrier will be
lowered. Follow the path back to the vista and place the EMBLEM in the
circular object.

5.4 Use bat form to travel

Chapter 6 The Pillars 500 years later

6.1 Seek the specter Ariel at the Pillars

This is essentially the same area you were just in, so you should be
familiar with your surroundings. Jump in the water and get out over by
the tents. Kill the Humans to lower the barrier. Go left of the tents
and the Revenant will take over some Humans. Kill the Humans and approach
the torches Raziel mentions something about a fire source, the Fire Reaver
perhaps.

6.2 Acquire the Fire Reaver

You will see a climbable wall to the right of the torches, climb to the
top and fly over to the grassy platform jetting from the wall. Walk
along this path and some Revenant will attack. Kill the Revenat and
enter through the Reaver door. Observe the Symbol and use the appropraite
Reaver to open it. Inside, drop to the floor below. Find the the block
you can pull with the smoke jetting from the top. Theirs a barrier in
from which you need to remove first. Locate the Climbable wall to the
right of the portal. Climb up and up top go over to the pillar with the
Fire Reaver Symbol on it, turn it until the barrier in front of the
block with the smoke coming out of it is lowered. Jump down to the floor
below. Pull the block to the center of the room and then push it front
of the barrier by the glowing red switch. Go back up top and turn the
pillar with the Fire Reaver symbol on it, until the barrier in front of
the glowing red switch is lowered. Jump back down and push the block
right in front of the switch and blast it with TK. After the block is
set alight, pull it back to the center where the Fire symbol is This
will activate the portal. go through.

After the scene go ahead until you reach the broken portal, go out the
opening here. Drop to the floor below and deal with the Bandersnatch.
Approach the Font and you will find out that it's not active. Ignore
the open rooms for now and find the two golden gates phase through
in spectral. Each will lead to a boss fight.

Boss 1 Nature Guardian

This is a pretty easy fight. Her main attacks are launching purple
fireballs at you and conjuring up Bandersnatach. Just focus all your
attacks on her and she should be dead in no time. Her death will fill
half of the Font, outside.

Boss 2 Conflict Guardian

A slightly harder fight. This guy conjures up shades randomly and


has a fireball attack. When you have attacked him too much he glows
white and blasts you back. The main problem with this guy is he
levitates often and is therefore hard to attack. His death will
complete the Font outside.
If you die you can just return to either boss, so it's no bigey. Once
the Font is full you will need to return to physical to use it. Find
the room with the broken portal their are some souls inside. The portal
is here, use it to go back to physical then go over to the Font to get
the Fire Reaver.

6.3 Use fire to unlock the ancient gate

A pile of rubble will block access to the climbable wall. Go back to


the portal room, there are two torches in here, light them with the
Fire Reaver. That leaves two more torches to light. Go out again and
find the room with the chairs, their is a wall here you can climb up
to reach the top, do so. You will arrive in another broken portal room,
go through the opening here. Outiside go left and through the next
opening. Shades will attack inside so kill them. See the switch on the
big edifice, blast it with TK to release some torches above. This is
another timed bit. See the big boulder in the room, climb up that to
reach the left torch. Use the climbable wall on the right to reach the
right torch. After the other two lights are activated the portal will
open. Go outside then go left to reach it. Exit the Fire Reaver shrine
using the appropriate Reaver. Outside some Revenant will attack, kill
them and go back to the pillar of fire. Light the torches using your
new Fire Reaver and pull the pillar until the point faces the opening.
Go outside and some Vampire Hunters will attack, kill them if you wish.
Approach the pillars for a scene. God Ariel is looking good must be
the Botox.

6.4 Find key to unlock bronze gate

The bronze gate in question is the gate Kain phased through to get
to the vista. The key lays to the right of the pillars. Make sure
you get the TK RUNE in this area. Follow the right path until you
reach the tent area. As you approach the glowing key, vampire Hunters
will attack. Kill them all to lower the barrier so you can grab the
key. Soul Reaver 2 players will notice the Air Reaver Font to the
left where you got the Key, you can use these to fly up, once you get
the Air Reaver of course.

6.5 Unlock bronze gate

As stated before the bronze gate lays to the left of the Pillars. Use
the Bronze disc to open it.

6.6 Acquire the Air Reaver

Walk along this path until you reach the structure you traversed as Kain.
It's best to kill the Humans here as they can be annoying. The coiled
pillar is repaired so you cant use it this time. Climb the small pillar
and jump over to the taller one and change to spectral. The pillar will
raise so you can jump over to the ledge. Use the portal here to go
back to physical. Carry on until you reach the SAVE POINT, see the grassy
rocks ahead, walk up and fly over to the Reaver door past the
waterfall.
Use the Fire Reaver on the door to open it. Inside drop to the floor
below. You will see two steam currents and two brown rocks beside them.
Go over to the left current and pull the rock over it. A switch is behind
the rock, blast it with TK to raise a beam that blocks the rock. Go over
to the other rock and pull it over the current. This will activate the
steam current in the center of the room. Go over and use the Reaver on
it, you will fly up. Fly over to the HOWLING HEARTSTONE and grab it, place
it on it's pedestal below. Go over to the switch and blast it with TK
again, this will release the rock. Go over to the other rock and pull it
so the current is free again. This will activate the porta, go through.

After the scene drop down the hole here. The Revenant will attack so kill
them to lower the barrier. Go outside and you will notice the Font is
empty like last time. Kill the Bandersnatch and find the bronze gate,
phase through it in spectral.

Boss 3 Mind Guardian

This guardians attacks are pretty much the same as the others. They must
have all gone to the same school. She has a four way projection attack
that creates four clones of herself. You have to hit each one a few times
to find out if it's the real one. Other that that she has fireballs and
that's about it, easy peasy.

Once she's dead the Font will be half filled, or is that half empty.
Go through the opening to the left of the casket and climb the wall
inside. Up top follow the path [one way is a dead end] until you see
a hole in the ground, jump down and approach the casket for another boss
fight.

Boss 4 Dimension Guardian

Another easy fight. This boss warps to a random location if he takes


too much damage and casts a fireball at you, and that's about it. His
death will fill the Air Font.

Climb back up the wall and phase through the bronze gate ahead. Use the
portal to change back to physical and grab the HEALTH TALISMAN here.
Change back to spectral and go back through the bronze gate. Go back
to the area with the Font and find the room with the portal and change
back to physical. Use the Reaver on the Font to get the Air Reaver.

6.7 Use Air Reaver to reach the path

Ok see the steam current, use the Air Reaver on it to fly upward. Float
straight ahead until you reach the platform with the angel statues.
Turn the right one until it displays the Dark Reaver symbol for reference
look at the door. Turn the left one until it displays the Light Reaver
symbol again look at the door. Hit the Switch, this will open both doors.
Go through the Light Reaver door and use the Dark Reaver on the light.
Go through the Dark Reaver door and use the Light Reaver on the Light.
Two switches down, two to go. Jump back down to the floor below and find
the other Air Font. Use the Air Reaver on it to fly upward then light
the torch using the Fire Reaver. Jump back down and go left of the Air
Font to find a broken one and a climbable wall, climb up and back flip
to the platform behind. Use the Fire Reaver on the torch to activate
the portal. Jump down to the floor below and find the room with the
climbable wall that leads to the portal outha here. Exit the Air Reaver
shrine using the appropriate Reaver. Outside you will have to kill all
the Humans to lower the Barrier. From the structure go back to the
Pillars and go back to the area with the tents. Use the Air Font that's
here to reach the platform above. Walk along the path and it's end
of chapter.
Chapter 7 The vampire Citadel

7.1 Explore the ancient Citadel

Exit the circular room and follow the hall and phase through the grey
gate at the end. Go down the steps to reach a SAVE POINT and another
gate, you need an object to open it.

7.2 Find the missing gate seal

Go right until you see a hairy thing on the ground, go past it for
another scene. As you approach the golden door Kain says you need
to complete the BALANCE EMBLEM first. Go left of the door until
you reach another gate. Once again you need to get an object to open
it, so go on right until you reach another SAVE POINT and the WHEEL
OF LIFE.

7.3 Unlock gate with Wheel of Life

A new enemy will attack let's call them hairy dudes. Kill them all
to open the gate. Go left and kill all the hairy dudes to open the
gate, then go to the area with the golden door. Again you will have
to kill everyone to open the gate to the right. After that go left
and open the previously locked gate with the WHEEL OF LIFE.

7.4 Find warp gate to the Light area

Go down the steps for some Shades kill them and the hairy dudes attack.
There is a HEALTH TALISMAN to the left. Go down the other steps for
more Shades. Long jump over to the portal and go through.

7.5 Find warp gate to Fire area

Your now in the Light Shrine so the place should look familiar. Kill
everyone and go outside. A Golem will attack, you need to kill it
to open the doors. Find the room with the climbable wall and climb
to the top. Drop to the hall below and go outside. Kill the hairy
dudes and follow the path to the golden gate, phase through. Fight
or go straight through the portal here.

7.6 Find warp gate to Water area

Go outside and some Shades will attack. Go right and into the first
room for a TK RUNE. Drop to the bottom floor and kill the hairy dudes.
Ok, find the small room with the chairs, it's not the one with the
climbable wall or through the golden gates. You can jump up this wall
like you did as Raziel. Follow the path for some hairy dudes and the
portal. The statues here are different to the ones in the other portal
room. Remember what they look like so you wont get lost later. Go through
the portal.

7.7 Find Death and States relics

This is the Water Reaver shrine, you will have not been here before
but the general layout is the same. Phase through the gate ahead.
Go left past the gate [theirs nothing inside] and go into the room
before the drop for a HEALTH TALISMAN. Go back outside and drop to
the floor below. Find the cracked golden door and break it. Go inside
for the RUSTED SCALES. Go back outside and find the other cracked door.
Break it and go inside for the CARVED STONE SKULL. It dosent matter
which order you find them.

7.8 Use relics to open sealed door

Go outside again and find the door with the two plaques and place the
objects in each indentation to open the door.

7.9 Acquire the Lightning Emblem

Go inside the room and step on the SAVE POINT. Use TK to blast the
two torches, if you can see them just aim until you lock on. The
water will lower. Jump down and kit the switch here with TK. Climb
up the platform and grab the LIGHTNING EMBLEM.

7.10 Return to Fire area via warp gate

Some Shades will attack so kill them. Jump back up to the SAVE POINT
and use the EMBLEM on the left SEAL. Go outside and deal with everyone.
Find the door with the switch above and blast it with TK, you might have
done so already. Go inside and climb up the wall. Drop down and follow
the path to a broken portal and a Golem, as you exit it will attack, so
kill it to open the door. Go outside and follow the path past the golden
gate until you reach a closed door. Use the EMBLEM on it to open it and
phase through the gate. A Fire Golem will attack, you will have to kill
it so you can use the portal. When it's fire barrier is up, dont attack,
as you will hurt yourself. When it's dead go through the portal.

7.11 Return to Light area via warp gate

As you enter you will be attacked by some Golems. Again you have to kill
them to open the doors. When they are dead go left and drop down the
opening. Go outside and find the room with the climbable wall. Climb
up and follow the hall to the portal room and two Fire Golem. You must
beat them to open the portal. Once their dead go through the portal.

7.12 Return to terrace via warp gate

Phase through the gate past the save point. Outside, drop to the floor
below. Find the room with the portal and go through.

7.13 Unlock terrace gate

Long jump to the other area acn climb up the steps. Some shades should
attack so kill them. Dont go up the stairs, but go right of the SAVE
POINT, back to the golden door. You cant open it yet so go left until
you reach the grey gate that was locked earlier. Use the EMBLEM on it
to open it.

Chapter 8 Voradors Mansion

8.1 Seek out Vorador within the mansion

Voradors mansion is the bane of many LoK Defiance players. It is


typically the first area you get stuck in, but like most things
it's easy to accomplish when you know how.

The first thing you need to do is get inside. Go up the winding steps
in front of the mansion and try and open the door, two golems will attack
so kill them. After they are dead a crack will appear in the glass above
the main door and the veranda will collapse. Go back up to the main
door and climb the rubble. Break the glass to reveal a gate, then change
to spectral and phase through. Drop to the floor below and go through
one of the halls, they both lead to the same area. Follow the corridor
to the Lobby and use the portal to change back to physical. Revenant
will attack so kill them to lower the barriers. Go to the golden door
on the left and go through, it's the same as last time they both lead
to the same area. The Revanant will attack in the corridor so deal with
them. You will come to a room with some Golem and a switch. Us TK on
the switch to make some torches appear. Use the Fire Reaver to light them
which opens the door ahead. Right, your now in the LOWER GARGOYLE ROOM.
Kill the Bandersnatch here and find the Air Reaver Fonts, use one to
fly up to, you guessed it, the UPPER GARGOYLE ROOM.

8.2 Find one of the relic weapons

After the scene explore the area. You will see three glowing areas
behind the gargoyes, with a symbol on the ground of each. You need to
get three objects to use on these gargoyles so let's press on.

Some people report various glitches in Voradors Mansion from here one.
If the steps in this guide do not work you may have encountered a glitch.
It's a good idea to keep a save before this point if anything should
happen.

Ok, find the door with the Air Reaver symbol and use the Air Reaver
to go through. Kill the Shades that haunt this corridor and go down
the steps until you reach the Mural. A new breed of Revenant will be
here a hornier one at that, kill them and jump in the water. Change
to spectral and find the gate and phase through. Use the climbable
wall at the end of this room to climb up. Raziel will find another
door that needs an artefact to open it. Find the portal and change
back to physical. You will notice a little step that leads to a
mural on the wall, if you cant see it go into look around mode, you
will return here later, meanwhile kill the Revenant dotted around here,
then find the grey double doors and go through. Follow the corridor to
the wine cellar, notice the mural here. Go up the steps and look around
to find the climbable wall nearby. Fly over to it and climb up, go into
the room nearby. Find the rocks in front of the platform here and use
them to climb up it. Use this platform to fly to the platform on the
right. Fly from this platform over to the last, then grab onto the
red brick climbable wall and climb up. Backflip from the wall onto the
top platform and use TK on the stained glass to break it. Jump over to
the bars and change to spectral and phase through. Jump down to the
area below, your now back outside the mansion. Find the portal on this
walkway and change back to physical. If you fall down by accident you
can use the climbable wall to the right of the entrance to get back up.

When you change back the pillars in the courtyard change position. Fly
over to the pillar on the right, the once closest to the mansion. Change
back to spectral and it will move to the right, and up, hopefully with
you one it. The pillar on the other side has lowered so you can now use
the height advantage to fly down to it. This can be tricky, but dont worry,
if you fall, you can always use the new climbable wall below to get back
up, as mentioned before. Fly from this pillar to the one by the other
walkway. Great you now on the left walkway of the mansion. Follow the
walkway to the opening in the wall and go through. Kill the Sluagh and
find the steps downward. Jump to the floor below and go into the other
room. Use the portal in this room to change back to physical. As you
approach the other corridor the Revenant will attack so kill them to
lower the barrers. Go through the other corridor until you reach the
stairs, go up, and then through the door here. After the scene proceed
to destroy all the chairs who hah hah.

Explore the room first, you will notice various lights scattered around
the room and some sentries blocking some areas. There is a switch behind
the statue and two charge stones by the exit. Your task is to change
all the lights to dark, here's how.

Light 1

Change to the dark Reaver. Go behind the statue and find the Light,
use the dark Reaver on it to change it to dark.

Light 2

Go over to the charge stones and use them to power up the Reaver to max.
Use the Dark Reaver Spell by holding down attack and then release. You
will be made invisible, and the sentries wont be able to detect you.
Go back to the statue and use the climbable wall on the left to get to
the next Light.

Light 3

Use the same method as before to change to Shade form. Break the glass
panel to the right of the exit and go outside. Find the Light and use
the Dark Reaver on it.

Light 4

Change to Shade from and go over to the fireplace. The fire wont be there
while you are in Shade form, so use the Dark Reaver on the Light.

Light 5

Charge up the Dark Reaver. Go up the steps on the left and climb the
left black platform. Some platforms will come out of the wall. Go back
down the steps and back to the Statue. Hit the Switch with TK to lower
a chandelier. Climb up it and activate Shade form. After it raises
wait until the camera pans around then fly over to the platform with
the Light. This is the easiest way I can think of to get this Light If
you disturb the Sentries above, when not in Shade Form, the platforms
will go back into the wall, so watch out for this.

Light 6

Power up the Dark Reaver to max and go over to the Statue. Us TK on


the switch to lower the chandelier. Climb up and activate Shade form.
You then have to use the black beams to reach the Light. The only advice
I can give with this, is to try and aim for the right wall where the
beams jet out from, it makes it a lot easier.

After all the Lights are made Dark the statue will reveal a spear, grab
it.

8.3 Find a second relic spear


Right, now we need to go back to the Upper Gargoyle room. Forget the
Reaver Door for now, you dont yet have the particular Reaver needed.
Go through the exit door and back through this corridor and into the
wine room. Go back up until you reach the courtyard. Drop down and
change to physical, phase through the gate above the entrance, as
before, to enter the mansion. Use the portal in the Lobby to change
back to physical and go through one of the golden doors. Make your
way back to the lower Gargoyle room and then use the Air Reaver Font
to get back to the Upper portion.

Use the HEART SEEKER on the step in front of the Mural depicting a
Male Vampire spearing a Hylden, no innuendo implied there. The Mural
behind will crack, break it to reveal a McSoul happy meal.

This time go through the Fire Reaver door. At the end of this corridor
are some bars, phase through them in spectral. Go down the steps until
you reach the gezebo. Go outside and fight the Archons if you want, when
done go down the steps nearby, keep going down the path until you reach
the portal, change back to physical. Dont worry about the torches for
now and go back up the path. The Revenant will attack here so kill them
so you can move around freely. Notice the Mural here. Your objective now
is to get through that glass above the door. Find the broken portion
of the circular arch by the statue and climb up. Use this to jump onto
the arch then walk around until you face the Glass and use TK on it
to break it. Fly into the opening. Kill the Revenant and take the first
left to get a TK RUNE. Go back right and into the next room. Kill the
Revenant to get some peace. You will see a Reaver Door which you
cant open yet and a fireplace with two torches in front of it. Use
the Fire Reaver on the torches to extinguish the fire. Break the wall
down and change to spectral, then phase through the bars. The mist
here is deadly so dont jump down. Fly over to the small area on the
left by the McSoul Meal. Some glass will block the left side so fly
to the platform ahead. Use this to fly over to the platform with the
Golden door. Here, fly over to the small platform on the left to find
the portal, change back to physical. The mist will disperse, whatever
you do dont drop down, or you will have to start at the beggining of
this part again. Go through the Golden door. Follow this corridor into
a room with a fireplace and a bed, must be for guests . Go left of the
bed and the Revenant will attack so kill them to lower the barriers.
Go through the door with the lady vampire on it.

Look above to see a familiar painting, Vorador must love it to have it


twice. Right, here we have another puzzle, it's quite similar to the
last one, only this time there are Dark Lights and you have to use
the Light Reaver.

Light 1

Go over to the statue to the left of it is a Dark Light use the Light
Reaver on it.

Light 2

Go up the steps by the first Light. Follow the path to the end. Look
around to see another area to the left of the McSoul Meal. Fly out,
and then around to get to the other area and the Light.

Light 3
Go up the steps on the left side of this room. Go to the end of the
walkway and you will notice a bookshelf with two handles on it. Pull
the bookshelf out and right to find the Light.

Light 4

See the long painting behind the dining table, break it to reveal the
Light.

Light 5

Break the dining table to reveal a floor switch. Grab the nearby
statue and pull it over the switch to quench the fire in the fireplace
to the left. Go over and use the Light Reaver on the Light.

Light 6

Go back up the steps by the exit. Find the climbable wall to the right
of the door, climb up and backflip onto the platform behind. Jump to
the black beam ahead. Use TK on the Switch on the far wall to turn the
beams over, use them to get to the Light. This is timed so be as fast
as possible, remember the same technique as last time to succeed.

Grab the BLOOD DRINKER below. Now go back to the upper Gargoyle room,
via the Lobby. Before the Gargoyle room some Golems will attack, kill
them to open the door again. Go back up top via the Air Font and
use the BLOOD DRINKER on the step in front of the Mural depicting a
female vampire mounting a Hylden, talk about interracial. Now all the
murals like this will be cracked. One is in the painting in the lobby,
on the left, there's a HEALTH TALISMAN behind it.

8.4 Find half of Vorador's crest

Go through the Fire Reaver door. Follow the corridor to the broken
Mural and break it down. Go back down to the Gezebo. Outside, you will
notice that the Mural here is also cracked, break it down. Jump down
to the bottom of the well and go through the opening below. Follow
the sewer until the scene. Us TK on the switch on the far wall to raise
some platforms, use these to get across to the other area and grab the
crest piece. This can be tricky but you can always resurface from the
water to try again.

Now go back through the sewer to the well. Some Revenent will block your
path so deal with them. Climb up the wall in the well until you reach
the top, press left to climb along the wall and then climb up the other
section to reach the exit. Go back into the gezebo then back to the Upper
Gargoyle room.

8.5 Find other half of Vorador's crest

Go through the Air Reaver door. Go down the steps in the other room.
Break down the wall and go through the new opening. This room should
be familiar. Go through the grey double doors as before. Follow the
path to the other room and break the Mural here also. Go through the
opening and follow the path to another puzzle.

Examine the wall with the Reaver symbols in look around mode. There are
six symbols and four columns. Ok, discard the Light and Dark Reaver symbols
So according to the Mural make the pillars display these symbols by turning
them until the symbol is displayed face forward.

The top left pillars symbol Fire

The bottom left pillar symbol Air

The top right pillar symbol Earth

The bottom right pillar symbol Water

Once you get the correct order the platform in the center will rise.
Climb on top to raise it to the top. Fly over to the platform ahead
and grab VORADORS CREST.

8.6 Open the sealed crypt door

Go back to the room you came through to get here and go left and through
the grey double doors. Go over to the Mural of the lady and use both
parts of the CREST to open the door.

8.7 Recover the third relic spear

Go up the steps until you reach the circular room. Change to the Fire
Reaver, power it up using the charge stone nearby. Position yourself
in the middle of the torches and hold down attack to release a fire
wave. This will light all the torches and the spear will appear. As
you approach it, two Fire Golem will attack. Again, dont attack them
when the fire barrier is up, as it will hurt you. When they are dead,
grab the spear.

8.8 Impale final gargoyle with relic spear

Go back to the Upper Gargoyle room and use the spear on the middle
Gargoyle. This will crack the remaining Mural and activate a portal
to the Water Reaver Shrine below. Before you go, break the Mural behind
for a TK RUNE. There are two more Murals which can be broken One is
the room of the red brick climbable wall, to get here use the Air
Reaver door. This will net you a HEALTH TALISMAN. The other is in the
first Light puzzle room. To get here you have to use the pillars in the
courtyard outside the mansion. A TOME is behind this one.

8.9 Acquire the Water Reaver

Drop to the Lower Gargoyle room. Approach the mist to be warped to


the Water Reaver Shrine. After the scene go left until you reach
a broken portal and a gate, phase through the gate in spectral.
Outside, drop to the floor below as you approach the Font the
Guardians will attack.

Boss 5 &amp; 6 Death and States Guardians

These guys are pretty easy becuase of all the Sluagh around here. If
you find yourself low on health just kill some Sluagh to replenish it.
Once they are both dead, the Font will be full.

Find the room with the portal. It's the one to the left of the Font.
Grab the HEALTH TALISMAN here and go outside. Use the Reaver on the
Font to get the Water Reaver.
8.10 Return to garden crypt

You now, as always have to activate the portal. Find the room with
the two torches, it's the one to the left of the rubble filled opening.
Use the Water Reaver on them, ok three more lights to go. Go back outside.
Go over to the Font and use the Water Reaver on the waterfalls to freeze
them. Climb up one of the ice walls, hurry, they change back. Use the
Water Reaver on the waterfall in the middle, climb up to get to the
next torch. Drop back down to the second floor. Go into the room on
the left to find the next torch. Stay on this platform and change to
spectral, the platform will rise. Go into the opening ahead and go follow
it until you reach a portal. Change back to physical and use the Water
Reaver on the last torch. Change to spectral and phase through the gate
in this room. Outside, phase through the far right gate to reach a broken
portal. Search around for the portal and change back to physical. Find
the portal and exit.

Your back in the Lower Gargoyle room. Use the Air Font to get above.
Go through the Fire Reaver door. Follow the corridor to the gezebo and
go outside. Go down the steps and follow the path past the small well
until you reach the crypt door. Change to the Fire Reaver and power
up using the charge stone. Position yourself in the center of the circle
and use a charge blast to light all the torches. Change to the Water
Reaver and extinguish the torches with the Water Reaver symbol in front
of them, this will open the crypt door.

8.11 Use Seal to unlock library door

Go up the winding steps until you see the opening on the left. Exit
the crypt. Go back up the path to the garden and kill the Revenant
so you move about freely. Use the arch platform to get into the opening
above again. Follow the corridor to the bars in the fireplace and phase
through in spectral. In this room use the same methods as before to go
through the golden door. Follow the corridor back to the second Light
puzzle room. Use the SEAL on the door behind the statue and that's
Vorador's mansion over with, pheew.

Chapter 9 The vampire Citadel continued

9.1 Find warp gate to Earth area

Ok, jump down into the area in front of the SAVE POINT. There are some
hairy dudes here so deal with them. Find the LONG JUMP area and use it
to jump across. Walk along the path until you reach the portal and go
through.

9.2 Find Earth relic to unlock door

Go outside through the opening. Kill the hairy dudes and explore the
area. There are three doors with sentries above that block your path.
Find the door with the Balance Emblem symbol and open it. Go inside
and you will notice a glowing pillar on the left, us TK to break the
pillar. Climb up the rubble into the portal room. Approach the portal
and a Fire Golem will attack. Kill the Golem to open the door and go
through. Follow the path until you see a grate jetting out from the
wall. Jump into the hole behind. Kill the Shades and grab the EARTH
GLOBE.

9.3 Use Earth Globe to open door


Find the cracked wall here and break it down. Go through and find the
HEALTH TALISMAN here before you exit the room. Back in the main area,
find the Balance Emblem room with the rubble and climb up. Go through
the opening in the portal, this time go past the grate to the end
of the hall. Open the door on the end and go through.

9.4 Find warp gate to Dark area

It's the portal right in front of you.

9.5 Find orb to power warp gate

Phase through the gate in front of the SAVE POINT. Drop to the floor
below, dont worry about the LONG JUMP spot for now. A Golem will attack,
destroy them to open all the doors. Find the room with the climbable
wall and use it to climb to the top. Drop down and kill the Shades. Go
into the broken portal room ahead and grab the ORB to the right of the
portal.

9.6 Return to Earth area via warp gate

Kill the Golems that attack to open the doors. Phase through the gate
here. Go into the room on the left to find a TK RUNE. There is a Blood
Bank in the other room if you need it. Use the LONG JUMP spot to jump
across to the other side. Phase through the gate and go through the
portal.

9.7 Activate warp gate to Air area

As you move forward two Golems will attack. Kill them to open the
doors. Go into the opening to the left of the portal. It might be
hard to see, so you might want to go into look around mode. Go
past the grate corridor and into the broken portal room. Kill the
hairy dudes and use the Orb on the pedestal, to the right of the portal.

9.8 Use Warp gate to Air Area

That's the portal in front of you.

9.9 Find warp gate to Light area

A Golem will attack, kill it to open the door ahead. Go through the
opening ahead and drop to the floor below. Find the big gate and phase
through. To the left of the casket is a cracked wall break it down.
Go through the opening and climb up the wall. Follow the path to the
portal room. Kill the Golems to open the doors and activate the portal.
There's a TOME at the end of the hall here, anyway go through the portal.

9.10 Acquire the Time Emblem

Ok, there are three sentries here, one left, one right, one middle.
The TIME EMBLEM is in the center but you cant get it cuz of the
sentries. Look to the left sentry and use TK on the switch to it's
right, this will trap it. Go over and use the BALANCE EMBLEM on the
broken symbol, this will make some bars appear in front of the middle
sentry. Do the same on the right side and you can get the TIME EMBLEM.

9.11 Unlock the Balance Emblem door


Ok, dont go back through the portal, instead, open the door ahead. Drop
to the floor below and find the room with the exit portal, there's a
SAVE POINT outside it. Go through the portal. Outside use the LONG JUMP
spot to jump to the other side. Follow the path back to the area with
the Golden door and the tarnished Mural beside it. Use the BALANCE EMBLEM
on the door to open it.

9.12 Jump into portal to travel in time

Before jumping in grab the HEALTH TALISMAN here.

9.13 Find vista to Avernus

Dont jump back in the portal or you will be killed. Go outside and
find the opening down and left from the portal entrance. Dont leave the
area with the Murals and you should find it.

9.14 Use bat form to travel

As captain Picard used to say, Make is so Mr Data

Chapter 10 Avernus Cathedral

10.1 Find the Heart of Darkness

You will see an Earth Reaver Font ahead which you cant use yet. Go
straight ahead until you see two statues and a glowing tablet. Go left
of the statues and find the opening. Go forward until you find the
Water Reaver door, use the Water Reaver to go through.

10.2 Acquire the Earth Reaver

Drop down an approach the light. Some Golems will attack. Kill them
to make two platforms appear, then two more will attack. After they
are dead the last two platforms will appear. Go back up the walkway
by the exit, jump to the platform on the left and then jump to the
others to get to the other side. Grab the SPHERE and jump down. Use
the sphere on the central pedestal to activate the portal, go through.

Follow the path until you reach the broken portal room. Get the TK
RUNE then change to spectral. Phase through the gate and drop to the
floor below.

Boss 7 &amp; 8 Energy and Time Guardians

Again just concentrate on one at a time. This is a pretty funny fight


actually, because the Time guardian can speed you up, creating a scene
reminiscent of a Benny Hill sketch.

After they are dead find the room with the portal and change back
to physical. As you leave the room Revenant will attack, kill them
to lower the barrier. Go outside and you will find out that you need
to lower the barrier. Kill the Bandersnatch to get some peace. Go back
into the room you were before and change to the Dark Reaver. Use the
charge stone to power up then go back outside. Find the sentries and
change to shade form. Find the room with the Light and use the Dark
Reaver on it. Go back outside and power up again, this time go into
the other room. Here, go right of the casket and into the waterfall
room. Use the Water Reaver on the water and climb up. Follow the path
to the broken portal room and find the hole in the floor. Drop down
the hole and kill the Revenant. This time use the Light Reaver on the
Light and the barrier in front of the font will disappear. Use the
rubble to get back up, then go back down the grate where you used the
Water Reaver. Go back outside and use the Reaver on the Font to get
the Earth Reaver.

10.3 Return to Avernus Cathedral

You can now use the Earth Reaver Fonts to make platforms appear. Use
the one here and go up the platforms to the second floor, hurry it's
timed. On the platform with the Long Jump spot use the Fire Reaver to
light both torches. Jump to the middle platform with the golden angel
and jump down to the other Long Jump spot. Again, use the Fire Reaver
on the torches, this leaves two Lights on the portal. Go back to the
platform with the golden angel and use the Air Reaver on the Font to
fly up into the room above.

You will see two pillars and a switch. Turn the left pillar until it
displays the Fire Reaver symbol to the front, turn the right one until
it displays the Fire Reaver symbol also. Us TK on the switch to open
the door to the right. Go into the room and use the Water Reaver on
the torch, one light to go. Go back to the room with the pillars, this
time make them both display the Air Reaver symbol to the front, then
hit the switch. Go into the left room and use the Water Reaver on the
torch, the portal will activate.

Go outside and fly down to the Long Jump platform with the golden
gate. Phase through the gate in spectral. Find the portal back and
change to physcial. Go through the portal to exit.

10.4 Solve the mystery of the altar

Exit the shrine using the Water Reaver. Go back to the altar area and
some acolytes will attack, kill them. Use the Earth Reaver on the Font
to make some platforms appear, use them to get to the second floor.
Get the HEALTH TALISMAN and kill the acolytes. Grab the BOOK and drop
down to the floor below. Use the BOOK on the Altar with the statues to
open a portal.

10.5 Enter the dimensional portal

Hurry before a big friggin demon attacks.

10.6 Explore the Avernus catacombs

Follow the path down. After the scene go down to trigger some acolytes.
Kill them to lower the barrier then continue down. You will meet
more enemies along the way, after that follow the path to the door
on the end and go through. Looks a bit like a Thursday night at my local.

Boss Hash Ak Gik aka Turel

This guy can be tough. He will launch a fireball that follows you, you
will have to jump around a bit to dodge it. Turel will also run and
charge at you, jump out of his way. Here's how to beat him. Dodge his
attacks until he pounds the ground. See the GONGS on the wall, one of
them will light up, hit it to stun Turel, then go over and get a few
hits in with the Reaver. Follow this pattern until all the GONGS light
up, hit each one to kill him.

10.7 Escape from the sacrificial pit

Walk around until you see a green glowing pillar, use TK on it to break
it. Jump up the pillar and use the climbable wall to reach the top.

Chapter 11 Showdown at Avernus

11.1 Defeat Raziel

Raziel has all the moves he has learned so far. He can bind you with
TK and throw you away. He can also summon the power of the Reaver for
a powerful blast. You should have more than enough energy by now to
hold him off.

11.2 Defeat Kain

Again, Kain has all the moves he has learned so far, I found this
fight easier than the other one for some reason.

When you have won depart for Voradors Mansion through the front door.

Chapter 12 Return to Voradors Mansion

12.1 Find a path to Janos Crypt

Kill the vampire hunters in this room. Find the cracked wall to the
right of the room and break it down. Go through and follow the path
to the next cracked wall, break it down. Kill the vampire hunters.
The path below will be blocked so go up the stairs. In the Gargoyle
room jump to the floor below and go into the hall. Kill the Revenant
to lower the right barrier. Follow the hall to the arched golden
door and go through. Kill the vampire hunters. For some reason I think
the song Everybody was Kung Foo fighting would be appropriate here.
Find the glowing green pillar and break it using TK. Climb up the
wall and back flip to the platform behind. Break the planks of wood
over the opening down and go inside. You can avoid this fight by just
going through the Earth Reaver door. Kill the Vampire hunters here to
lower the red Barriers. Go through the open glass pane to get a TK
RUNE outside. Go through the door with the blue guy holding the spear.
Follow the path until the barriers appear. Kill the Revenant to lower
the barriers and go into the wine room. Go up the stairs and go outside.
Drop to the floor below and kill the vampire hunters. Hit the bottom
left pillar with the green glow with TK. Change to the Air Reaver
and use the Font to fly up and back over to left area that leads to
the wine room. Fly over to the bent pillar and use this to get to the
one straight ahead. Fly over to the right walkway. Go left until you
see the glowing green statue, hit it with TK to make it drop. Climb up
the statue and jump up to the window ledge. Change to spectral and
phase through the window. Drop down and kill the Archons. Go into the
opening below and drop into the next room to find the portal. Change
back to physical. Follow the path on the left to the grey double doors,
go through. Here jump into the water and change to the Earth Reaver,
you will drop to the floor. Find the cracked wall and break it down.
Go through the opening. In this room you can get a TK RUNE by pulling
the two pillars over the switches, by either side of the locked door.
When your down change from the Earth Reaver to float up. Climb up
the platform near the waters edge and go through the sewer. Climb
out of the well like you did before and go outside. Go down the garden
path back to the crypt and go inside.

12.2 Restore the Heart to Janos body

Go through the door by the chairs and go down the winding stairs. Go
into the Janos burial chamber and press action.

12.3 Investigate the inner chamber below

This is the area Kain has been predominately in for the game, so it
should be familiar. Go through the opening and follow the path down
to the gate. Phase through the gate in spectral. Follow the path until
you reach the portal then change to physical. Kill the Revenant to
lower the barrier then go into the Oracles chamber. Go through the
door here on the right.

12.4 Proceed to lower chamber

Go through the double doors ahead. Follow the path to the water and
change to the Earth Reaver. Break the rocks below and jump through.
Use the climbable wall to get out if the water. Follow the path to
the double doors and go through.

12.5 Acquire the Spirit Reaver

Ok jump down to the floor below and use the Reaver on the tentacles.
This bit is timed so hurry. Find the climbable wall and climb up.
Go left and use the Dark Reaver on the Dark Reaver energy font and
the Light Reaver on the Light one. If you dont do it fast enough the
tentacles will cover the energy and you will have to do this bit again.

Jump back down to the floor below and strike the tentacles again.
Climb the platform ahead and use the Earth Reaver on the Font to
create some platforms use them to get to the other side. Use the
climbable wall on the left to get up. This time it's the Water and
Fire Reaver Fonts you need to activate.

After that Jump back down to the tentacles. Change to the Earth Reaver
to submerge and hit the tentacles. Change from the Earth Reaver and
swim up, find the platform with the waterfall and get out if the water.
Use the Water Reaver to freeze the water and climb up. Go left and
fly to the climbable wall on the left and climb up. Use the Earth Reaver
on the Font to create the platforms again and use them to get to the
other side. Climb up the wall and the Earth Font is right here. Run
left to reach the Air Font.

After all the Fonts have regained power jump down below and strike the
tentacles one last time.

12.6 Return to Janos in the Council Chamber

Use the fallen rock to reach the waterfall platform. Use the Water Reaver
and climb up. Fly to the left climbable wall and use the Earth Reaver
on the Font. Get to the other side and leave this area. Follow the path
to the water and use the Earth Reaver to submerge. Go out the double
doors ahead. Exit the oracles chamber and go right. Follow the path
back to the gate above the steps and phase through in spectral. Follow
the path back up the the Council chamber and use the portal to change
to physical.

Boss 9 Janos Audron

He has various moves like a shockwave that will force you away and
a swoop move that knocks you back. He is only vulnerable when he
drops his head and shakes, use this time to get a few hits in, dont
bother attacking him otherwise. Watch out for the swoop move if you
dodge it you can hit him while he recovers.

Chapter 13 Avernus Catacombs

13.1 Battle the demon hordes

Kill all the demons until the portal appears and go through.

13.2 Ascend back to the Cathedral

Find the climbable wall and use it to get to the top. Go into
Mortys room for a HEALTH TALISMAN. Follow the path around and
go up the steps and through the double doors. Follow this path
until the barrier appears. Kill the demons to lower it. Keep
going up and go through the portal at the end.

13.3 Use bat form to travel

Find the bat beacon and use it.

13.4 Investigate the Spirit Forge

Grab the TK RUNE and go down the path and phase through the gate
on the end. Go into the oracles chamber and then through the golden
double doors. Follow the path to the drop and use the climbable wall
to get up the other side. Follow the path to the double doors and
go through.

13.5 Battle the ancient God

Boss 10 The Elder God

This guy is kinda tough. Strafe around until the tentacles stop
moving, then move in and strike them with the Soul Reaver. When
you have killed a few the Elder God will moan in agony. Run over
to the big eye and hit it like mad until the barrier in front of
it is raised again. The Elder God will then chuck a few fireballs
at you, avoid them by strafing until the tentacles attack again.
Repeat the process as before until he is defeated.
