Students who are surrounded by environmental print develop rapidly in literacy

especially in school. Children enjoy observing, reading, and trying to copy the
signs that are displayed. Environmental print has many advantages, a few are that
it provides models for their writing, helps them with spelling, and it inspires and
motivates them to read and write on their own.
