Engine Control Safety System (Side Stand & Brake Failure)

ABSTRACT
Now a day many accidents occur in two wheelers more than the four wheelers. One of the reasons for
occurring accidents in two wheelers is due to brake failure and side stand failure. To avoid these problems
in vehicles, we can develop a solution by altering the brake system and side stand system.
SIDE STAND:
In this system, if the side stand is not released then the vehicle doesnt starts. While running if the stand is
released then the engine function will be stops immediately. By using this method, we can able to avoid the
accidents happened by the side stand.
BRAKE FAILURE CONTROL SYSTEM:
In this system, if the brake system failures unfortunately, then the special attachment in the brake system
makes the engine to off its working and avoid accidents. So by using these systems we can able to avoid this
kind of accidents in vehicles. [Incase if any problem occurs in the system then an alternative bypass switch
is installed directly with the engine. This system makes the engine to function normally even if the side
stand or brake is damaged.]
INTRODUCTION

There are many accidents happened in our day
We are to solve the improperly side stand and
today life mainly occurs in two wheelers. There
are many reasons involved to resulting in brake failure due to this type of problem to
accidents. But due to few minor mistakes avoid this system. So useful to avoid the
happened in two wheelers may cause major accidents. This is for our aim of the project.

mode. If the systemic mode is activated,
unfortunately the brake system is failed to
operate, immediately the engine power will be
cut by the leaf switch.In case, if the vehicle
runs in normal mode, unfortunately the brake

This leaf switch is attached in two major areas


like side stand setup and also with the brake
drum system.

BYPASS SWITCH
In this system, if the side stand or brake
system of the vehicle is malfunctioned, then
automatically this indicator horn will
produces a sound that will insists the driver to
check the problems in the vehicle.

Ignition switch is connected to the side stand leaf switch side stand leaf switch S1 point connected to the
spark plug line P1.and the switch common point connected to the P2 point in sparkplug point. The switch
point S2 is connected to the ignition switch (IS1).the ignition switch
(IS2) to the battery line (B2).the battery line (B1) connected to the indicator horn(H2). The horn (H1) is
connected to the side stand switch common point (C1).the sparkplug line points P1 and P2 are connected
to the bypass switch (BS1).

There are two brake switches are attached in the (RS1) point connected to the indicated horn
vehicle at the front and rear wheel of the two (H1) point. (RS2) connected to the sparkplug
wheelers. The front wheel switch (FS1) point line (P2).the rear wheel switch common point
connected to the sparkplug line (P1)point and (RC2) connected to the (P1) point. The spark
(FS2) point connected to the ignition point (IS1) plug line (P1) and (P2) point connected to
and ignition point (IS2)connected to the battery bypass switch (BS2).

STEP3: The power is supplied properly


throughout the system if the brake lever
doesnt touches the switch.so the vehicle
runs normally.

STEP4: When the brake wire cuts off, at that


time brake lever touches the switch, so the
power transmission between the sparkplug is
cut off.so the spark production in the engine
is terminated.so the vehicle doesnt runs.

STEP5: If there is any problem occurred in


WORKING the systemic circuit, then immediately it can
be switched on into the normal mode by

STEP1: When the ignition switch is switched

So by this experiment we can able to reduce the accident rate and also to have a safety ride. This
experiment should be implemented in two wheelers.
