ILLEGAL ELECTRICITY LINES

Electricity was a necessity of staple for supporting human life. Humans are so hung
with electricity. But now electricity has become the subject warm in society. PLN as a
supplier of electricity into a scapegoat on this matter. PLN considered not able to provide
power in Indonesia. Not all regions get electricity, especially in areas that hard to reach. The
blackout is still happen.

Actually the problem not only from PLN, because PLN is also has tried to provide
better services for customers throughout the country. Customers as consumers actually
abusing electricity adverse PLN. One of them is theft electricity illegal. Customers caught
stealing electricity because they want to get the power great to fulfill their needs but do with
the wrong ways and not pay to PLN.

Currently, many in tricks the man do to steal electric starting from ancient manner of
which is bugged directly from a cable connection home (SR) to affect an instrument of a
parapet and gauges (APP) belonging to PLN and wear certain tool. Such as is an action
including a breach in the use of electric power and injurious to PLN. Hence PLN make a
team consists of several teams to examine the use of electric power its consumers. It is meant
to PLN pressing loss because of electric stealing and what follows is a mode of which are
often found by PLN officers among others; menyadap directly from cable PLN and enlarge
mcb, arrange the gear to counter kwh meters, replacing name plate kwh meters, fiddling
pengawatan kwh meters and others.

Many people performing the act of electric stealing mostly due to the needs of
electrical power in his house is lacking sufficient. If they add to electrical power is provided
PLN to his house then they have to pay more electric charge of their monthly. By doing
electric stealing they get the power more to his house without paying a surcharge on PLN. So,
thats common causes they commit burglary electricity.

Punishment for thieves illegal electricity will be strictly punished by police. In

addition, an offender can also sentenced to prison with the threat of on top of his five years in
prison. For those who it is proven that his sentence can be fined, depending on the decision of
PLN.

PLN provide solutions to problems are by conducting blackouts areas. The blackout is
a last effort of PLN to avoid dead total electric at a network system electricity. Cause the
blackout is production capacity inadequately or infrastructures distribution inadequate to
supply sufficient resources to a region that need it. Sometimes, blackout this had planned day
and time allowing people to anticipate the disorder. However, most of the cases, blackout can
happening without previous notice.

PLN given solution is also is bad for society. For example, when we are doing
activities require electricity the blackout come suddenly happen without previous notice. It
causes our activity become abortive and we think PLN bad on.

According our group, solution to the general public, namely the general public
supposes to have self-awareness because the need for electricity is necessity important for
everyone. So we dont deserve filch of electric power is actually belonging together. Because
just the same was stealing the rights of others. Then a solution to PLN which is PLN should
always provide information when there will be the electric turning off severally. It aims so
that communities can anticipate the shutdown. It is also not to be a misunderstanding between
the community with PLN.
