Tucson, AZ 85719 (480) 310-1080 jfordham@email.arizona.edu December 14, 2017 Nurse Recruiter Banner Health 1501 N. Campbell Ave. Tucson, AZ 85719 Nurse Recruiter, I am exceptionally interested in obtaining a new graduate registered nursing position in the Banner University of Arizona Medical Center neonatal intensive care unit. I am confident that my experience, education, and passion for nursing will make me an excellent candidate and addition to the Banner Health team. I am especially interested in this position and company because I believe that Banner Health can provide me with the absolute best learning experience as a new graduate nurse as Banner UMC is one of the largest teaching hospitals in Arizona. Ultimately, I believe that this hospital will allow me the most growth as a young professional and new nurse. During my time at the University of Arizona College of Nursing, I have learned valuable hands-on nursing skills, interpersonal skills, and critical thinking skills. I have learned how to prioritize tasks, how to effectively organize my time, and how to use the nursing process to provide advanced care to patients with many different illnesses. My precise attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to problem solve, and readiness to learn will make me a great asset to this company and to those it serves. My passion for nursing began in my teenage years when I became a first responder and lifeguard for the City of Mesa Aquatics. I quickly gained insight on my passion for providing care to others in critical care situations. Once beginning nursing school, my passion for nursing was solidified as I found my true devotion to the NICU. I have had the pleasure to work at Banners neonatal intensive care unit during my clinical preceptorship, and I could not be more pleased with the work environment and the excellent patient care that takes place on this unit. Although I would be pleased to have the opportunity to work on any of the units at UAMC, I think that I would experience the most professional growth and stimulation if I were able to work with critically ill patients in the NICU. I believe that my passion and growing knowledge would grant me the ability to provide superior patient care in this environment. Thank you for your time and consideration in granting me this valuable opportunity. Sincerely,
