The reason for developing this learning experience, is in
response to an observation I had involving the children. I noticed
that the children enjoyed using their hands to investigate and
manipulate sensory materials, like water. Based on this I decided
to implement another sensory activity that will allow children to
manipulate another material.

back inside. The child did this several times.

with an open palm. The child did this several times, as
well.
- Another child saw the child splashing the water, and
decided to join in.
- This child begun to splash the water as well, several
times, and smiled while doing this.

I chose these teaching strategies because it will assist me in

creating an interesting, and fun experience for the children,
while appealing to their curiosity.
