Ministry for the Sick and Homebound
We are grateful to those who give of their time and
care to bring Holy Communion to our parishioners
who cannot make it to church due to sickness or
infirmity. If you know of anyone who would like to re-
ceive communion in their home or while hospitalized
at West Lincoln Hospital, please contact the parish
office.
SVDP Society
MISSION - The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a
lay Catholic organization whose mission is: To live
the Gospel message by serving Christ in the
poor with love, respect, justice and joy.
VALUES - The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent
de Paul implies that as Vincentians we: see Christ in
anyone who suffers, come together as a family,
have personal contact with the poor, help in all pos-

Canadian Tire Money
We continue to collect Canadian Tire money to pur-
chase raffle prizes for fundraising events. It can be
brought to the office or in the collection basket.
Sunday Missals - The new Sunday Missals are
available by the office window for $4. Please place
the money in the box labeled Missal.
As it has been some time since we began celebrat-

cially as we may have modified things since being in

In todays gospel, the
Son of Man comes in
kingly glory to judge our
lives. Using the sheep
as a symbol, we hear the
sheep do his bidding.
They will inherit the king-
dom God prepared for
them.
Its bad news for the goats. They didnt see Jesus
in the various opportunities for compassion and care.
When we only think about our own agenda, we are
blind to the needs of others. This is where we can
hear our future selves protesting: Lord, when was
it that we saw you hungry and gave you food, or
thirsty and give you something to drink? The oppor-
tunities are there. The Lord asks us to see them.

CCWN Angel Wishes was initiated by Rita
Morissette, a deceased member of our
parish in her desire to make a child's spe-
cial Christmas wish come true. We thank
those who picked up an angel last week-
end at the 5 p.m. & 9 a.m. Masses. There will be a
few available for the 11 oclock Mass this weekend.

Exciting News - Christmas Campaign
Last year, a gener-
ous benefactor
matched all Christmas
donations that were
received in the special
Christmas Basement
Campaign Envelope
up to $10,000. With the overwhelming support, we
were able to complete the basement washrooms,
storage areas, lighting, ductwork, drywall and paint-
ing.
This year, our generous benefactor has agreed
again to match Christmas donations received in the
special Christmas Basement Campaign Envelope to
a maximum of $10,000. With your kind support, we
hope to finish the church kitchen or at least make it
into a functional space for our parish events. Enve-
lopes will be found in the pews next weekend.
Prayer Shawls
The Prayer Shawl Ministry continues to create
handcrafted shawls for parishioners, their families
and friends who are coping with illness, loneliness,
pain or trouble. The shawls are made with compas-
sion and prayerfulness and are available to anyone
who needs one. Please call the office to request a
shawl or lap blanket or if you would like to join this
ministry.
