Job Description:

Our technology-driven Companys engineering department currently has an

immediate opening for a Graduate Trainee Engineer (G.E.T). The Graduate
Trainee Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the duties of the Engineering
department, including design, research, prototyping, and engineering,
Documentation, estimating and process improvement and also ideas and
processes for new products. Improves upon the performance and design of
existing products and oversees production and packaging of final product. The
successful candidate will report directly to the Lead Designer, and collaborate
with design/purchasing and shop/assembly teams on design projects.

may also be responsible for making improvements or updates to existing design
and development standards. Professionals may also need to understand how
their decisions affect product cost, performance. Graduate Trainee Engineers
perform research and come up with new ideas for products and the systems used
to create them. The role also includes analyzing existing products with a view to
improving their efficiency and overall performance. Graduate Trainee Engineers
work to develop product sketches, drafts and designs.

They coordinate with various departments such as marketing, sales, production,

research and development. These engineers use various design tools, equipment,
and computer applications. Graduate Trainee Engineers take into consideration
several factors when working on projects. They include cost, maintenance, safety
regulations, legal stipulations, the environment, quality and other production
guidelines.
Graduate Trainee Engineers are responsible for creating drafts of many products
we use daily. They include aero planes, laptops, washing machines, dryers, trucks,
boats, elevators, cell phones, Electrical Panels etc. They consider the
environmental, safety and mechanical effects the product will have on the
consumer and other agents. These professionals must be innovative and creative
and often work on their own initiative.

Responsibilities:

Use specialized software to create models and drawings of products.

Research new materials and methods of development.
Organize and maintain existing engineering records.
Construct prototypes and confirm designs with design/purchasing team.
Perform physical testing on engineering prototypes.
Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business
standards.
Design, model, and test prototypes for products.
Conduct research and create design proposals for projects.
Establish design briefs.
Create concepts, performance, and production criteria.
Identify and select materials needed for production.
Produce final hand drawings and specifications.
Create parts lists.
List costs involved in production.
Make samples of working models for demonstration.
Plan marketing initiatives for product.
Negotiate appropriate production processes.
Travel to production facilities to evaluate processes.
Improve usability of an item.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) to design concepts.

Salary Package:

In probation period of three month your stipend would be 1.8 LPA CTC per month
and after completion of probation period of three month your salary package
would be upto 2.4 LPA based on your performance in training.

What you'll do:

You'll work in a variety of industries, from electronics to synthetic textiles, on

projects as diverse as the redesign of consumer products like mobile phones to
the construction of motorcycle parts.

Your day-to-day duties would depend on the project, but could include:

Research (using mathematical modeling to work through new developments

and innovations)

Design (turning research ideas into technical plans for prototypes using
computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-assisted engineering (CAE) software)

Testing (collecting and analyzing data from prototype testing)

Modifying designs (ahead of manufacture or installation)

Reporting (writing or presenting to project managers and clients)

Job Location: Noida, Delhi- NCR

Working hours, patterns and environment:

Working Hours: You'll usually work 10.00 AM to 06.00 PM as per requirement

Working Days: Monday to Friday.

Most of your time would be spent in a design or drawing office, with occasional
travel to meet clients
