In this project, Preconception Sex Selection is defined as any medical procedure carried out by
a professional that is undertaken in an attempt to influence the biological sex of an unborn
child.

To put it simply; Preconception Sex Selection is a medical procedure that allows parents to
choose the sex of their unborn child.
