A lawyer, according to Black's Legislative Dictionary, is "a child who learned

the law in order to become a lawyer or counselor; a licensed lawyer to practice law. "

Law is defined as a system of rules of conduct established by a sovereign

government to correct injustices in a society, to maintain stability and to make justice
to the injured.

In some countries, especially in the United States, the law is mainly taught in
law faculties. In the United States and other countries, according to the American
model (such as Canada except Quebec), the law graduate is a law graduate or a
specialized vocational school, which is a condition of admission to the profession of
lawyer.

The graduate of a law school in the United States (including some schools in
Canada and other countries) grants graduate students the JD degree, unlike the
Bachelor of Laws degree as a law degree graduate.

In a large number of countries, a law graduate must pass an entrance exam

(or a series of such exams) prior to receiving a practice license.

In USA: In the United States, you can take the bar exam, you have to finish
a doctorate in law. After completing the faculty, a lawyer in the future has to complete
the law school that lasts 3 years, at the end of which you finish with a "Juris Doctor"
diploma.

Each state, with one or two exceptions, has its own requirements for the bar
exam. In some states, those with many lawyers, the exams are much more difficult
than in others where there are fewer lawyers.

The bar recipe usually consists of three parts: a part of professionalism and
ethical rules, a part of the law of the state and a part of the federal law.

In Romania, the lawyer is a licensed lawyer who is subsequently admitted to

the profession on the basis of an examination organized by the bar where he intends
to practice.

After admission to the profession, the lawyer is given the professional title of
trainee lawyer and will be enrolled on the Board of Internship Lawyers.

When joining the bar, the attorney takes an oath in a solemn setting. After
completing the mandatory 2-year internship, the trainee lawyer has to pass a final
examination organized by the bar, after which the lawyer is enrolled on the
Defender's Panel.

Mainly, the lawyer's work is done through legal advice and through
assistance or representation before the courts or other judicial bodies.

In the exercise of his profession, the lawyer is independent and is subject

only to the law, the status of the profession and the code of ethics. It promotes and
defends the legitimate rights, freedoms and interests of man.

Although the lawyers have a general legal training, the increasing complexity
of the legal issues generated by the evolution of society has forced their
specialization in various branches of law (commercial law, civil law, criminal law,
fiscal law etc) or by categories of activities :

-consultant lawyer providing legal advice;

-a solicitor who assists or represents the natural or legal persons before the courts.
