I am an enthusiastic, dedicated, and committed teacher with a natural
Barrera ability to appreciate and inspire children. I strive to inspire all students to
be their best self. I effectively teach and build repertoire with students
from all socio-economic and educational backgrounds. I maintain high
order in my classroom daily. Students are welcomed into a positive, safe,
learning environment. I was named campus Teacher of the Year for
Grady B. Rasco Middle School for the 2016-2017 school year.
