CCSS Standards: The students are writing their innovation of the "Wolves in the walls" story.
Materials: Picture of the dragon, worksheet to describe the elephants, worksheet of using expanded noun
phrases in sentences.

- Most of the students understand the meaning of the noun and the adjective.
- Some students might disturb others when they are presenting their work. So, I will make sure that they

Lesson Schedule
Targeted teacher language: we use expanded noun phrases to give more specific details about the noun. When
we put adjectives before the noun, thats what we call expanded noun phrases.
Student language: they have to use adjectives to describe nouns. Give examples of noun. Describe the

I will write their answers on the board. I will tell them: noun is a word that identify
