Assignment title 1-Proposal For Work Based Team Project

Purpose of this unit

This unit aims learners to develop a proposal for a work based team project, plan the project, implement the
plan and evaluate the project.

Scenario :

In order to achieve the learning outcomes and meet the standards for this unit, you will need to work as
part of a team. You will need to develop a proposal and plan for a project, implement the plan and then
present the results and carry out an evaluation.
The size and composition of the team must be negotiated with your tutor, who will take the final decision.
The basis of your project is to add benefit to the local community where the college/provider is based.
Initially your team should research potential good causes in the locality, as your project will be to raise
funding to support one good cause.

Task 1

Your initial task is to develop a written proposal for the project which you must test out with your
tutor to gain approval. Your proposal must:
Identify the aims and objectives of the project
Propose roles and responsibilities of team members
Identify the constraints on the project
Propose ways of monitoring and evaluating the project.

Before you progress to the next stage your tutor will decide the feasibility of the project and how
the beneficiaries will be contacted to ensure they are in agreement with your proposals.

This assignment covers assessment criteria 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4.

A pass grade is achieved by meeting all the requirements listed in the assessment criteria
