RELATIVE CLAUSES

Son frases que funcionan como un adjetivo, dan informacin acerca de un nombre

del antecedente. Hay dos tipos de frases de relativo:

Defining relative clauses: especificativas aportan informacin esencial sobre el


antecedente, sin ellas la oracin quedara incompleta.

Non-defining relative clauses: explicativas aaden informacin extra sobre el
antecedente, si se omiten la oracin mantiene su sentido. Van entre comas.
