TP Task 3 Planning for Learning

What is the planning cycle?


Planning cycle is the whole process that teacher made it for lesson which include preparation,
during the lesson also after the lesson when teacher reflect her lesson and identify her weakness.
The planning cycle is a process of professional observation, planning and evaluation used by
educators to assist in developing high quality education programs for children (Early works,
2014).

Preparation
For preparing I looked at IBPYP planner to look at what is expected. Then I asked my MST about what is
students need to learn. Also I consider of the line inquiry that in IBPYP planner. Then I designed my
lesson plan. My preparation for lesson it started before 2 days.

This is the lines of inquiry that PYP teacher used. PYP stand for Primary Years Programme.
Lines of inquiry is the topics that students will investigate about during this unite.
Monday Planning for Tuesday and theuresday
Tuesday Tuesday teaching about sugary drinks in UOI
and multiplication in math
Thursday Healthy and unhealthy food

This is the table that shows how I planned weekly for teaching lessons. I be in schools for the
three days in a week so this shows what Im going to do in three days.

This is IBPYP planner. IBPYP stand for International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
In the meeting grade 4 teachers and PYP coordinator in school (Dr. Swati) sit together and
complete this template. The meeting done once a week. It done every Tuesday. Teacher must
follow the planner.

This is my lesson plan I designed before 24 hours for the lesson that I will taught. This template
designed by college instructors. This template keep my lesson easier because it is organize my
lesson process.

Practice:
In this part I will talk about my lesson. During my lesson I must follow the lesson plan that I
designed for the lesson I put my lesson plan in front of me to follow what I wrote in my lesson
plan. Also I have some classroom management such as, stop warning which I gave the
misbehavior students warning. Another strategy is dojo I gave students point for positive
behavior and I take out dojo point for negative behavior. At the end of the lesson I gave
students labels such as , Im good students , Im a great questioner, Im respectful and Im
excellent learner. The following pictures shows the stratiges that I used.

Reflection
After I fished my lesson I reflect at my lesson and looking at my strength and weakness points. My
weakness point I worked on it to develop my teaching skills. This is my reflection for one of my lessons.
