CONCLUSION

By job embeddedness we understand that it is a collection of forces which influence the


employee retention in an organization.
It can also be distinguished from the movement in that as its emphasis remain on all the
factors which keeps an employee on the job, instead of the psychological process the
person goes through when quitting.
We understand work rumination as the process of perseverative thinking or dwelling about
problems and issues within the work boundaries. Work rumination can also be defined as too
much thinking about the failures of the past or future and also questioning ones existence in
the organization.
As per the analysis we came to a conclusion that there was a weak positive correlation
between job embeddedness and work rumination. And later the hypothesis also justified it by
confirming that work rumination does get affected by ones job embeddedness, like if
someone is too much embedded by the job, it may lead to negative thinking also causing
imbalance in personal and work life. A person will remain too much work driven and fully
dedicated to his work but that will increase his stress level.
