CHAPTER IV

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter consists of the presentation, analysis and interpretation of

the data gathered for this study.

Socio-demographic Profile of Respondents. This section describes the

respondents in terms of their socio-demographic profile; the data are shown

in Table 1.

Gender. The results show that majority (18 or 60%) of the respondents is

females and (12 or 40%) are males.

Strand. Finding show that most (16 or 53%) of the respondents are taking up

General Academic Strand while (14 or 47%) are taking up Accounting

Bussiness Management.
Age. Most (25 or 84%) of the respondents are in the age of 16, (4 or 13%) are

17 years old, and only (1 or 3%) is 18 years old.

Firsts, 36% of the respondents are experienced slight stress when they

respond to their stressor, 28% of the respondentd may feel average stress,

15 % dont have stress at all, 12% of them may have too much or above

average stress both at home and in school, lastly 9% of them are hard core

stress who confidentially has too much problems in life.

answered Yes.

Infact, there are four symptoms that can affect the appearance of

having stress namely Cognitive, Emotional, Physical, and Behavioral.


Generally, most 73% of the respondents feel or experienced tired and

headache at their level of stress, 57% of them are anxious/worrying, 50% are

irritable of having too much extra-curricular that makes rhem stress, 37% are

unusually emotional, 33% of them feel insomnia, 16% of them are panicking

because of stress, 12% of the respondents are craving specially chocolates

beacause chocolates can boost energy in order to decrease stress, 9% loss of

appetite because some of the are finishing their requirements so they are in

the late hours to eat their meals and forget to eat just to do first their

requirements, 7% are focused somehow students need focus in everything

they do so they can avoid stress.

27% of the respondents are exercising in order to reduce stress, 67% of

them are talking to their friends so they can have an advice to understand

things, 83% are listening to music it can decrease pressure because of its

harmony, 87% of them is to sleep to rest, 80% are eating their favorite foods

that can definitely make them energize and forget all stress, 3% are on

dieting because having stress can either make you fat or fit, 10% are working

out, 37% are doing their hobbies such as cleaning , playing instrument, etc.

1% of the respondent said racing their motorcycle, 2% are playing computer

games, and 50% of them are praying to the Lord asking for guidance.

okay, 37% are good, and 30% are excellent.
