Above my head on a blossoming lotus and sun and moon disc seat,
guru pema jungn ni
Appears Guru Padmkara, the Lotus Born,
gyal kn dp ngowor sam
Embodiment of all the Victorious Ones.

From the four centres on the Gurus body
tr dak gi ne shyir tim
Light radiates out and dissolves into my four centres.
drib shyi dak n wang shyi tob
Through this, the four obscurations are purified and I obtain the four empowerments.
shyu rang dang nyim dr
Guru Padmkara dissolves into light and becomes one with me,
lama rangsem yerm gom
And I meditate on the inseparable unity of the Guru and my own mind.

dm shi dang yerm pema jung
Padmkara, you are inseparable from the primordial nature.
rangnang dakp zangdok palri shying
The realm of the Copper-Coloured Mountain of Glory is the purity of our own perception.
nang rik yerm mach nyukm ngang
May we be born in this primordial pure realm,
dn namdak shying du kyewar shok
The unfabricated, natural state that is the indivisibility of appearance and awareness!
