Even the important science of Gayatri Upanishad after adding in this e-book
incompleteness has been rendered whole and fulfilled. It is only via the
combination of theory and practice that anything can attain total completion.
The theory of Spiritual Science is there in Gayatri Upanishad. Via it soul
wisdom and the deep import can be understood well. The teaching of the
Science of Spirituality ends after 12 Yogas. In this manner this book fulfills
both aspects viz. theory and practice.
I have full faith that this book shall properly guide lovers of Super Science of
Gayatri.
Bhurbhuvaha swaha
Tatsaviturvarenyam
Gayatri itself is complete Yoga. This is spoken of by great wise scholars. Not
even one principle of Yoga is external to it.
That science which joins lack with fulfillment and incompleteness with
completeness that science is called Yoga by great wise scholars.
In this world nothing is greater than Yoga spiritual practices. Within these
spiritual practices Yoga of Gayatri is easiest.
The meaning of Yoga is to unite and to join. When 2 things meet then it is
said it is Yoga. The Yoga or union of 2 and 4 is 6. Medicinal therapies are
called Yoga because in it there are many things that are mixed. In spiritual
terminology Yoga is said to be that procedure on the basis of which 2 chief
spiritual principles unite. By joining the head and heart, Maya and salvation,
sins and good merits and mind and soul in one thread, centralizing them at
one center duality gets destroyed and non duality rules the roost. Since
separation vanishes one attains divine bliss of unification.
The task of Yoga is to help meet and unite. All those means and paths that
helps the soul unite with Almighty God are called Yoga in spiritual parlance.
The number of Yoga is limitless. In Indian Yoga scriptures all in all there are
about 6000 Yoga practices. If we research more into it its number shall rise
up n fold. As per the opinion of various countries of the world, religions and
sciences the number of Yogas is so big that its measurement if not impossible
definitely is tough to gauge. Despite this the aim and task of all these Yoga
practices is one only. They wipe out separateness and reinstate unity. Yoga is
that science which helps meet non existence with existence and
incompleteness with completeness. The living being is incomplete,
experiences lack and is surrounded by sorrow and pain. In order to render it
complete, spiritual practice follower, wisdom, bliss etc the methods used is
called Yoga.
Yoga practice is the biggest and most important science because via it those
things are attained that is most required by mankind and is most useful.
That method which gives huge benefits must be accepted as the highest
benefit. Via other innumerable worldly knowledge and energy existences the
benefits accrued are mundane and transitory. Via them to a certain extent
worldly objects are attained but things attained via Yoga practices are of a
very high stature and there is much more permanent too. Via it man gets
more high stature joy and in ample measure and hence Yoga is said to be a
supremely great science.
Via mundane capacities and powers wealth, wife, son, status, grandeur,
health, knowledge etc can be attained. But despite attaining all this neither
does man get full satisfaction and nor does sorrow based on lack gets warded
off. This is because joy is felt in objects only so long as they are attained. On
attaining them a bit of pleasure is felt as long as the attraction for that object
is great in measure. The moment this attraction diminishes those things
appear burdensome, useless, worth ignoring and lowly too. Then the mind
weans itself away from them and starts searching for joy in newer material
objects. This sequence continues and along with attainment desire to
increases. As a result we may attain them in great quantity and the things
maybe best yet man remains dissatisfied and without satiation peace is
impossible to imbibe.
True peace is attained only when that thing is got wherein on getting
separated from it the soul experiences discontent. That wife separated from
her beloved husband does not get contentment till she does not get united
with her separated husband. That mother who has lost her child does not get
contentment till she attains her child and lovingly embracing it. Same holds
true for a mother separated from her child or a widow separated from her
beloved husband does not re attain him. If you give anything else that they do
not desire in order to calm down their separation even so they shall not attain
success. They shall not be content with any other thing. The same holds true
for the soul. Due to separation from Almighty God or the Cosmic Divine Soul
the soul has become discontented, restless etc. Our mind desires to place
before the soul alluring toys etc to aid it to become self fulfilled, it wants to
help it forget the feeling of separation but the soul's restlessness is not such
that it can be warded off by toys and games. As a result the soul may hoard
any amount of grandeur, prosperity, fame and power yet the soul's
restlessness cannot be warded off. Restlessness does not go away. For a
restless soul can never get joy in this world or the next.
The soul's satiation is dependent on that warding off of separation that was
harassing it due to separation from Almighty God. The process via which
separation gets transformed into union is called Yoga. Yoga aids the soul in
meeting Almighty God, it helps the head meeting the heart and helps Maya
meet Viveka or farsighted discrimination. Due to this union such inner
satiation is experienced that in comparison to it all joyous comforts of the
world appear lowly. This deep infinite satiation is termed Jivan Mukti,
Paramanand, Brahmanand, Brahma Nirvana, Samadhi etc. This the true
goal of human life.
And in this world Savita is said to be of 12 types. In the womb of that Savita
12 types of Yoga are embedded.
This gross world seen by us all is chiefly managed by the sun. Vedas say that
the sun is the very soul of this world. Lest the sun did not exist various types
of chemical materials, atoms and elements would not be capable of
manifesting their very existence. In latent nature is present chemical matter,
atoms and elements but their awakening, gushing forth, advancement,
management and growth take place only when infinite energies of the sun
conjoin to them. Savita has been named Prasavita too because all visible
matter are born from the womb of latent nature. The ovum in the womb
fertilizes only when it unites with the sperm. In the absence of this union no
visible form of the ovum appears before us. Nature is ovum and Savita is
sperm. Due to the union of both these we see the existence of this gross
material world.
By itself the sun possesses many types of energies but in the creation and
propagation of this cosmos it's 3 chief energies are at work and they are:
1) Mobility
2) Heat
3) Wish or desire
Via the various atoms of these 3 in varied measure various types of materials
are created, augmented and destroyed. In this manner in this world those
varied type situations and incidences emerge their activity is dependent on
the sun. When we cogitate over the root causes of creative science it clearly
shows that the state of various creatures' bodily and mental condition is
greatly related to the sun. It is also related to the state of subtle elements'
environment's mundane materials. It is because of understanding this
relationship that the sun is called the soul of this world.
Daily there is sunrise and sunset. Do not think that only the fire ball is the
sun. This is just its gross visible form and akin to other materials it is made
from gross matter. Within this gross Savita (sun) a subtle energy is at work.
It is called Savitri. Just as there is the gross body and the embodied within
(soul) is subtle similarly Savita is gross and its managing energy is subtle
called Savitri. This Savitri is also called Gayatri.
The gist of Gayatri meditation-worship creates a bond with that root energy
of the world also called the soul of the world manages Savita. In this manner
it is an authority on every object of the entire world. To the extent we can
attract that energy, the measure in which we can establish a bond with it to
that extent only we can attain authority over those objects. Those related to a
king and on whom the king is pleased with it is not difficult at all to use his
grandeur to an extent. In this manner, Gayatri devotees benefit by using the
rights of that super energy.
Sun is said to be of 12 types. The junctions of 12 months are named as
separate Zodiac Signs. In this manner despite the sun being singular it is
counted as 12 in number. As per various seasons the sun's radiance, color,
qualities etc for a long or short time rises in states that are varied.
By itself there are innumerable types of Yoga. 84 Yoga are quite well known
and apart from these there are many not so well known Yoga. But 12 Yoga
amongst these are solar predominant. These are 12 path ways that helps the
soul reach Almighty God. These roads may be made up of either pebbles,
stones, cement, coal tar etc but its foundation can only be the ground. They
have to be constructed on the ground. Similarly even though Yoga practices
may be based on varied types yet its basis shall be that managing energy via
which some special energy of subtle worlds can be attracted. This managing
energy is called Savitri or Gayatri. This energy may have varied names but
the foundation shall be this only. Without it based on any other foundation
Yoga Sidhis and success can never be attained.
12 royal paths in order to attain soul energy are well known as 12 Yoga. In
between these paths are showered with Bapi, Koop, Tadag, Vana and
Upavan. These are known as miracles of Sidhis (Divine Powers).
CHAPTER 3
PRANAV YOGA OR BRAHMA YOGA
Omkar is Almighty God's own name. In the deep cave of subtle nature each
moment a sound gets emitted that was seen and heard by subtle seer Rishis
in the subtle Samadhi state or trance. Just as by hammering a watch for
sometime vibrations manifest similarly each moment there is lashing and for
sometime it lets out an echo. This banging and echo is called Om in human
language.
Just as due to the movement of the pendulum all parts of the watch work
properly, just as in the piston of the engine the act of moving forward and
back helps the machine work well similarly this humungous machine of
nature works due to Omkar's sound. The cause of vibration and mobility of
atoms is also due to this Omkar's sound. In this manner this Omkar manages
the entire cosmos.
Via Naada Yoga in the womb of the cosmos Om sound is heard. Via Brahma
Yoga in this microcosm or body Pranav or Om sound is heard. This cosmos
is very widespread. Since microcosm or body works in a narrow area
wherever there are benefits to accrue there more hard work has to be put in.
the awakening of Kundalini Shakti is said to be the supreme most effort
whereas Naada Yoga despite being easier to practice gives success after a
long time. By digging a pond or lake we can get water and by placing an iron
tap in the ground water can be attained. Digging lakes is well known by all.
Whether quicker or much later a man with weak intellect too can succeed in
it. But it is difficult to place a tap on the ground using minimum land for it so
as to attain pure fresh water in huge measure. Super Power Kundalini
awakening is like placing a tap and Naada Yoga is like digging a lake. As per
one's inclination both Yoga are great. Regarding Kundalini Shakti that
pierces the 6 Chakras (subtle plexus) some light is thrown. The other name of
Brahma Yoga is Kundalini Yoga only. It is also called Pranav Yoga.
CHAPTER 4
SUPER POWER KUNDALINI-AN INTRODUCTION
As per Anatomy Science in this hollow Merudand there are many nerves and
function in various tasks. As per Spiritual Science there are 3 chief nerves
called:
Ida
Pingala
Sushumna
It is not as though we can see these with our eyes by dissecting the Merudand
or spinal cord. In fact they are related to the subtle unseen word. These are
in a certain sense a flow of human electricity. Just as in electric machines a
flow negative and positive is noted and wherever these 2 unite energy
manifests. In the same manner we can call Ida negative and Pingala positive.
Ida is called Chandranaadi (moon) and Pingala is called Suryanaadi (sun). In
gross terminology it can be called flows of coolness and heat. When these 2
unite a 3rd energy manifests called Sushumna. In Prayag region in India you
find 2 rivers called Ganga and Yamuna. When they unite a 3rd river in
unseen form manifests and it is called Saraswati. In this manner when 2
Naadis or subtle nerves unite to form Triveni (3 fold). Within Merudand too
such a spiritual Triveni exists. The 2 flows of Ida and Pingala unite to create
Sushumna and a complete 3 fold flow manifests.
Within the Sushumna Naadis or subtle nerve exists, one more 3 fold union.
In it too, 3 very subtle streams flow by and they are called Baja-Chitrani or
Brahma Naadi. Just as after cutting bananas there a layer within is noted so
too within Sushumna Baja dwells. Within Baja is Chitrani and within it is
Brahma Naadi. It is the sensitive center of all Naadis and is the essence of
divine energy. It is for giving protection to this sensitive center that so many
layers enfold it.
Now let us look at the base of the Merudand. The subtlest Naadi or nerve viz.
Brahma Naadi amongst 3 Naadis within Sushumna coils and gets bound to
atoms of Shatakona or 6 sided cone that is black in color and dwells in the
lowest region of Merudand. In order to render the roof very strong iron nails
are hammered into the wall and ropes are used to bind these nails and the
roof. Similarly, by tying the Brahma Naadi to the atoms of the black colored
Shatakona or 6 sided cone arrangement is made to bind the roof of the body
viz. Prana Energy.
Lest man comes to know the total knowledge and utility value of nuclear
energy nothing remains impossible for him. He shall be capable of rendering
the sun into pieces which will then mix up with dust storm. Whatever man
then desires he shall be able to create any object or creature based on his
whims and fancies. He shall own such machinery and technology that entire
world shall take the form of an alley's population. Anyone will be able to go
anywhere within a moment. He shall be able to give and take anything.
Within his own area or anywhere in the world he shall be able to talk with
people just as 2 friends sit side by side to talk. The atomic energy of this inert
world is being tapped so much that on noting its deep import there is no limit
to our being mind boggled. One spark of the conscious world is infinitely
more powerful in comparison to the atom of the inert world. How wondrous
shall it be? It is difficult to even imagine it.
Most definitely when they awaken mankind via these 6 Yoga Chakras attain
6 Sidhis or Divine Powers.
On the road to reach the root energy of Kundalini there are 6 stations or we
can say there are 6 locks. Only after opening these stations or locks a living
being can reach this divine energy center. These 3 obstructions in spiritual
terminology are called Shatchakras or 6 Yoga Chakras.
The 6 Chakras are like subtle glands and they are found in the path of
Brahma Naadi. When a devotee focuses his meditation on these 6 Chakras or
subtle glands there he experiences a strange subtle state. These glands are
not round but that from it such type of cone emerges akin to petals of a
flower. This cone or petal is called lotus.
The colors of these Chakras are varied because in these subtle glands contain
different elements. The predominance of these elements influences the local
blood and hence their color changes. Due to the admixture of earth element
blood color turns yellow, pink for admixture of water, blue due to fire pure
red for wind and cloudy for space element. It is this admixture that changes
the color of Chakra.
White ants cuts wood while it walks on it and hence these cut portions are
seen to have different shapes. Prana Energy comes and goes in these
Chakras. As per the state of a gland its path is quite slanting. The shape of its
movement is quite similar to Devagiri script. Hence this wind path is called
alphabets of Chakras.
In a river flowing speedily eddy currents are noted at certain spots. These
eddies in river water are hollow at certain places, deep, slanting, round or 4
sided. The Sushumna flow of Prans Energy by passing in these Chakras with
great speed there subtle eddies are noted. Its shape is 4 side cone half moon
tri fold cone 6 side cone, shape of the penis or like the full moon. Whenever
fire burns its flame rises upwards and is thick at the base and narrow on the
top region. In this manner a wayward 3 side cone is created. Varied shapes of
these types are created from the air/wind flow. These shapes and forms are
said to be machines of Chakras.
When air passes through the hollow tube like Brahma Naadi due to banging
into the subtle holes of Chakras a sound emerges there. It is like air entering
the flute instrument in a banging manner that manifests sounds. Every
Chakra has a subtle hole. Since the musical notes of it is an echo of flute like
sound viz. Sa, Re, Ga etc. These are called seeds of Chakras.
There are different types of movements of air entering the Chakras. It is like
the Naadi of air, bile and phlegm moving like snakes, frog etc. On identifying
these Vaidyas (doctors) give therapies. From the combination of the mixing,
slanting path, eddy, seeds etc in every Chakra due to the merging of flow of
blood and movement of air a special movement is noted. This movement can
be slow like that of an elephant, diving of a crocodile, jumping like a deer,
bouncing like a frog etc. These movements are said to be the vehicles of the 6
Chakras.
In these Chakras are fund varied types of divine energies. Energies like
creation, nourishment, destruction, knowledge, grandeur etc belong to each
type of deity or else we can say that these divine energies themselves are
deities. In every Chakra a male class of warm semen and a female class of
cool ovum energy is present. This is because in the absence of the union of
positive-negative and fire and immortal nectar mobility and flow of life do
not manifest. These energies themselves are the gods-goddesses of various
Chakras.
By itself these Chakras help flow their subtle energy all over the body but it
has a special bond with one particular organ of knowledge and organ of
action. They influence them much more than others. The signs of awakening
of Chakras are immediately recognized on them. Due to this special bonding
they are called sense organs of Chakras.
On hearing strange names like Dakini, Rakini, Lakini, Shakini, Hakini etc in
divine powers, an illusion manifests that there are things like Bhutani,
Chudail, Masani etc Actually, this is not true at all. Right from the mouth to
the navel right from 'A' that is wheel shaped to 'H' there is a garland of all
alphabets. There are Matrikas of grains of that garland. It is via Yoga
Philosophy that great Rishis of yore created alphabets of Devnagiri script via
these Matrikas. The deities of Chakras get vibrated by Matrikas. They are
related to each other. They are called divine powers of that particular deity.
Later Da, Ra, La, Ka, Sha etc that point at Matrikas by conjoining to some
words became Dakini, Shakini etc. These then are divine powers.
Amongst the 6 Chakras only the above mentioned ones are included. Some
people believe that Sahasrar Kamal is the 7th Chakra also called Shunya. Its
description is given below.
SHUNYA CHAKRA: Place-near the brain. There are 1000 petals. Color is
red. Its world is Satyloka. The alphabets on the petal are repetition from Am
up to Ksham. The element is beyond all elements. The seed of element is
Visarga. Its vehicle is Bindu. Its Guna is smell. Its deity is Parabrahma. Its
divine energy is Mahashakti or Super Energy. Its' Yantra is full moon. Its
light is formless. The fruits of meditation are devotion, immortality, Samadhi
or trance and attaining all Ridhi-Sidhis or Divine Powers.
Respected readers know that Kundalini is the fount of all energies. It is our
bodies near most conscious flame. In it in seed form so many mysterious
energies that it is beyond the ken of our imagination. In these 6 centers of
Kundalini in 6 Chakras too dwells enough divine light. Just as the solar
system has 9 planets, sun is its center and since moon, Mars etc are related to
it they circumambulate the sun. They get influenced by the sun's warmth,
Akarshini, Vilayini and other energies so as to ooze with it. Similarly the
energies of Kundalini are transmitted via the 6 Chakras (subtle plexus). Just
as in a big vault many tiny doors are there, just as in a bee hive there are
small holes and some of them are full so too in Chakras we find a bit if light
of energy of Kundalini. Along with awakening of Chakras so many
mysterious energies also get awakened. Its gist of hint is mentioned in the
fruits of meditation in previous paragraphs. If we expand it more and talk
about it these energies are no less spell binding.
CHAPTER 6
PIERCING AND AWAKENING THE 6 YOGA
CHAKRAS OR SUBTLE PLEXUS
While piercing and awakening the 6 Chakras one can reach Kundalini or
Divine Serpent Power and after duly awakening it conjoining it to the path of
soul advancement is in itself a Super Science. Such a Super Science-just like
making a nuclear bomb and exploding it is a task that has to be done with
great responsibility. It cannot be commenced by merely just reading books.
Instead it has to be done under the watchful eyes of an adept guide's
protection.
Chakras are pierced and awakened via the power of meditation. Everyone is
ware that our brain is something like a power house station and the chief
stream of it is our mind and psyche. The movement of the mind is restless
and multifaceted. Each moment it is immersed in restlessness and keeps
jumping up and down all the time. Because of this jumping about
everywhere that power of electricity cannot get focused at a particular
center. Hence it cannot execute any important task and in its absence human
life becomes wayward right till it ends. Lest this energy can be focused, if it
can be centralized at one point a scene manifests akin to focusing solar rays
on a lens that can burn up a paper kept there. Meditation is such a subtle
science via which the scattered multifaceted energies of the mind on getting
focused at one area can be used in a task being executed. As a result there
flows the fount of extraordinary divine energy. Via meditation this electricity
focused in the mental area can help a devotee pierce and awaken these 6
Chakras.
Over here we prefer to refrain from discussing other spiritual practices and
that by comparing them, criticize and counter criticize them. In these lines
we desire to place before respected reader via which Super Energy Gayatri
and awakening of the 6 Chakras can be carried out i a straightforward easy
manner. Thus in other spiritual practices imbued with many difficulties can
be avoided so as not to face any danger.
In the early morning hours sit in Padmasan or lotus posture with a clean
body and an alert healthy psyche. As mentioned previously carry out 5
Sheath practice that is the preliminary step of Brahma Sandhya. After
performing Achaman, Shikhabandhan, Pranayam, Adharmashana and
Nyasa chant one round of 108 rosary of Super Mantra Gayatri.
After executing Brahma Sandhya in the middle Trikuti portion of the brain,
(a line is made from one ear to the other ear end and another line from the
middle of the eyebrows to the back of the brain. Thus a union emerges of
both these lines and it is called Trikuti) one must meditate on the divine light
form of Vedmata Gayatri. The mind should be focused on that divine light in
such a way akin to an iron smith in order to heat up iron puts it in a blazing
furnace. When this iron turns red it is removed from the furnace and is
banged and pounded so as to make a desired object. By placing the mind for
sometime in the Gayatri divine light found in Trikuti the mind too becomes
radiant. Then it should be brought to the Ajna Chakra. The Brahma Naadi
after going ahead on the Merudand (spine) passes through Trikuti in order
to enter Sahasrar. In the hollow Brahma Naadi the radiant mind is entered
into and then brought into the Ajna Chakra. There on becoming steady all
those experiences are attained that are mentioned in the description above.
The mind experiences the petals of Chakras, alphabets, Tattva, seed, deity,
divine powers, Yantra, Loka or world, vehicle, quality and its color. In the
initial stages these experiences are quite incomplete. Some signs of a Chakra
are clear, some are unclear and some appear distorted. Slowly but surely
they later become clearer. Sometimes in the Chakras of some people there
are differences in quality perceived. They will experience only the form of the
Chakra within.
By doing Chakra based spiritual practice with a calm psyche, with alertness
for 1 month it gets pierced and awakened. In meditation their qualities
become that much clearer and at the Chakra area experiences are attained
viz. Matrikas related to it, organs of knowledge, organs of action, sudden
vibrations, hair raising experience, gushing forth, incitement, itchy etc. These
qualities point out to the fact that the Chakra has awakened from its
previous latent state. In 1 month more or less if such signs manifest, in
meditation the form of the Chakra becomes clearer then marching ahead we
must enter a Chakra above it. The method and path is the same. By heating
the mind in Gayatri's divine aura entering the Brahma Naadi and after
passing it entering the 1st Chakra, then after passing it entering the Chakra
after it, in this manner each Chakra takes about 1 month to get awakened.
When this spiritual practice attains full maturity, the doorway of entering a
Chakra from the previous one, opens up. Till the spiritual practice is
executed the door remains open. If the psyche of the devotee wishes to go
ahead, the door is not perceived and he gets entangled in the net of the
Chakra.
When the spiritual practice does not mature for a long time and the devotee
does not find a path to march ahead he shall definitely require the help of an
adept Guru. Whatever solution is given by the Guru, the devotee must
imbibe it. In this manner slowly and sequentially the devotee passing by each
Chakra reaches Kundalini in the Mooladhar Chakra. There he gets the
vision of that blazing, dark, ferocious and Super Power female serpent. Over
here the terrific form of Goddess Mahakali is witnessed. Many devotees
shiver with fright while daring to awaken this sleeping lion.
The battle between the demon Mahishasur and Goddess Durga is the symbol
of this very spiritual mystery. Desiring salvation for himself, desiring to die
at the hands of the Goddess demon Mahishasur (Mahi means the mind made
up of earth and other 5 elements) goes to fight with Goddess Chandi and
Kundalini. He attacks her while she is sitting silently. The Goddess out of
sheer wrath starts attacking the demon. She chews up his vehicle i.e. a
buffalo connoting psychic imprints gathered from infinite previous lifetimes.
She shatters the mind's worldly behavior, Mahishasur's body with her 10
arms in 10 directions. Finally demon Mahishasur or an ordinary living being
merges into the divine aura of Goddess Chandi. By being a part of this Super
Energy attains the benefit of life. This wrathful form of devotional spiritual
practice is indeed very strange. It is called Sadhan Samar.
Where on the one hand so many devotees via love and devotion attain
Almighty God or Brahman there, there are so many other devotees in
Sadhan Samar fight with Almighty God or Brahman and attain him.
Almighty God is hungry for steadfastness and he can be attained by a true
loving devotee and a real enemy too. A devotional Yogi can also attain him
and in Sadhan Samar a Hathayogi Tantra creature showing 2 hands also can
attain God. Kundalini awakening also is a Hatha Tantra. On the basis of
which the soul becomes great from lowliness and by becoming macrocosmic
from microcosmic becomes imbued with all divine energies.
While executing the spiritual practice of Shatchakras or 6 Chakras daily
after entering the Brahma Naadi the Chakras are meditated upon. Starting
meditation for 5 minutes initially leads later to 30 minutes. At one shot if we
meditate more it can be dangerous because it shall become difficult to endure
more heat that increases due to more meditation. While ending the
meditation session returning via the same path, the mind has to merge in
Trikuti and then meditation has to end.
There is no need to say at all that we during the time of spiritual practice
must observe Brahmacharya or celibacy, eat only once daily, eating food that
purifies the mind, living in solitude, residing in a very healthy environment
and maintaining a well managed daily routine because these are looked upon
as preliminary conditions of doing spiritual practices.
Via piercing the 6 Chakras and awakening Kundalini Super Energy in the
Brahmarandhra we can visualize a divine light of Almighty God. That
Pranav Brahman or God is seen directly that is hinted at in the first alphabet
of Super Mantra Gayatri. This then is Pranav or Brahma Yoga.
CHAPTER 7
YOGA OF THE WORLD
Bhurbhuvaha swaha are 3 Vyahvrittis that point at 3 worlds. Hell, earth and
heaven are 3 worlds called Bhur bhuvaha swaha. The gist of these 3
Vyahvrittis is seeing our soul spread out in all 3 worlds, seeing everything in
us and our self in everything. Imbibing this attitude is called Yoga of the
world. This is also called vision of the macrocosm. In the Bhagwad Geeta
scripture Almighty God showed his cosmic soul to Arjun. This is the result of
Vyahvritti Super Science.
GAYATRI PANJAR
In order to deeply think about something it is required that some sort of its
image dwells in our mental arena. Without any such image it is impossible
for the mind to think about that thing. The process of the mind is this that at
first it paints a shape of a thing and then the power of imagination works for
it. It could be that someone has never seen the ocean but when something
thinking is done on the ocean definitely our mind and psyche will create a big
image of a water area. The same is the basis of language sciences. Behind
every word there is a form. Hearing the word dog is successful only when on
uttering the word dog a special creature's image is formed in the mind. When
someone speaks a foreign language never heard by us then even if the word is
heard by our ears it is useless like the chattering of birds heard by us. No
image is created by our mind because we are totally unaware of the image
behind these words. Until the image does not appear it is impossible for the
mind to think about its relationship.
The same holds true for Almighty God and Divine Energies. Whether they
are thought to be gross or subtle, formless or with form, the mind has no
interest in thinking over its philosophic and scientific arguments. Lest if
some thinking needs to be executed in this direction some form or the other
will have to be created and placed before the mind. Else he will never be able
to think about God and his Divine Energies. Those people who feel God is
formless even they make some formless image of God. Hence it is mandatory
that some form be given to the formless God like that of space, brilliant as
light, widespread like fire, unseen like atoms etc. Until an image is not
formed no relationship can be created with the intellect and image.
Keeping this great truth in mind, in order for the mind to create a bond with
the absolute Almighty God who is formless, beyond thought, beyond the ken
of our intellect and beyond our mind and speech Indian Seers and Masters
established images of Almighty God. They have molded beautiful and divine
images for meditating on our icon deities. To these are conjoined divine
weapons, divine vehicles, divine qualities, divine nature and divine energies.
By meditating on such forms with devotion the devotee becomes one with
them. Akin to milk and water the devotee merges with the icon deity. The
buzzing bee catches hold of a worm and keeps buzzing around it. The worm
listens to this buzzing sound and becomes so one with it that its form changes
and the worm becomes a buzzing bee. By regularly meditating on divine
tasks, divine forms with a divine nature the devotee gets imbued with those
divine powers. Just as via the radio in the subtle space one can hear various
sounds with flying rays similarly in meditation establishing a divine image in
the mind is like making a spiritual radio. Via this a devotee can imbibe divine
energies that move about in the subtle unseen world. As per this principle
many icon deities and divine forms have been created for the devotee to
meditate upon. There is an independent science of these divine images. Why
do certain deities have a particular form? This is a sequential mystery. It
shall be described in another book. Over here it is enough to know that for a
certain purpose, in order to attract towards oneself, certain divine images
that have been successfully established by great Sidha Yogis that very image
has been proclaimed for that deity.
Where on the one hand for other purposes other deities other images are
exist, in order to visualize the entire cosmos as divine an image of cosmic
form of Almighty God has been created. Man's soul progress and joy-peace
is dependent on the fact that his inner and outer life is rendered pure and
sinless. Due to various types of agony, sorrow, lack and agitations man reeks
with physical and mental sins. Lest he protects himself from these sins then
there is no other reason for them to pose obstacles in his God given joy-
peace. In order to escape sins fear of God is most required. God is present
everywhere and is widespread. This is known to everyone but very few
people actually experience it. Those who experience that Almighty God is
present all around me and that he always punishes those who are sinful.
Those who experience such sentiments they can never sin. That robber who
is surrounded by policemen carrying weapons and that they are watchful
regarding each and everything, under such situations how will the robber
dare rob anything?
Seeing the form of God in the entire cosmos is such a spiritual practice that it
awakens our consciousness that helps us experience God in every iota of the
infinite cosmos. This then is worship of world humanity and creatures. This
is called Virat Darshan or cosmic vision. In the epic Ramayan Lord Rama
during his birth gave Virat Darshan or cosmic vision to his mother
Kaushalya. Once while eating his meals too Lord Rama gave Virat Darshan
or cosmic vision to his mother. In the Uttar Kand there is a description
regarding Kakbhushundi that he entered the mouth of Lord Rama and there
he witnessed the entire cosmos. Similarly Lord Shri Krishna also gave Virat
Darshan or cosmic vision many times. When he ate mud Yashoda who was
inducing him to open his mouth he gave this Virat Darshan or cosmic vision
to her. In the Udyog Parva of epic Ramayan Duryodhan too had this Virat
Darshan or cosmic vision. At the time of war the Lord showed Arjun his
Virat Darshan or cosmic vision and this is described in great detail in the
11th chapter of the Bhagwad Geeta scripture.
It is just not possible to see this Virat Darshan or cosmic vision by anyone
and everyone. Virat Darshan or cosmic vision is to look upon the entire
cosmos as God's humongous image and within it in the form of his parts and
sub parts seeing all material objects. By imbibing the sacred sentiment of
seeing God everywhere, seeing every object and place oozing with Almighty
God our intellect oozes with divinity and by harboring deep steadfast faith
that everywhere dwells the divine existence of God man gets absolved of all
sins and after this he can never sin. Remaining sinless is such a great benefit
that as a result of it we ward off all types of stress and strife. In the absence
of darkness there is light and absence of sorrow is called bliss. As a result of
Virat Darshan or cosmic vision man on becoming sinless enjoys imperishable
bliss eternally.
Gayatri too is Almighty God's divine energy. This energy of God is spread
out everywhere, in each atom and in the entire cosmos. Whatever exists is
Gayatri manifest. This entire world dwells in the body of Gayatri. This
sacred attitude is called 'Gayatri's Virat Darshan or cosmic vision'. This very
cosmic vision is found in the Gayatri Panjar as detailed below. Panjar means
cast and mold. Gayatri's mold, widespread nature exists in the entire cosmos
and it is given in its eulogy. By meditating on this eulogy with sacred
sentiments we get a cosmic vision of Gayatri both inwardly and in the
external world too. As a result of this vision none dares talk just like a robber
surrounded by the police dares not to rob.
Via Bhuha, Bhuvaha and Swaha it illumines Nigam. It is placed above the
worlds called Maha, Jana, Tapaha and Satya.
Via singing etc merriment and immersed in discourses etc despite being
beyond speech and mind it has imbibed a radiant form.
Savita is said to be that which gives birth to this world and is its creator. The
meaning of Varenyam is Annamayi and gives the fruits of efforts made.
Ida and Pingala are nostrils. Both dawn and dusk are its lips and the tongue
is speech.
Space is stomach and the inner land is navel. The thighs are Prajapati and
waist is Indrani.
Uru Malay is Meru where demigods that hate demons reside. In Janu dwell
Jahu Kushik and arms is Vaishwa Deva.
The primordial region of both thighs is Ayan. Khur etc are ancestors. Legs,
hands, nails, hair etc are said to be trees on the ground of planet earth.
Tithimarsatuvarshakhya suketunimishatmikam.
Jwalatkalanalprabham taditkotisamaprabham.
Kotisurya pratikasham chandrakotisushitalam......... (14)
Sudhamandalmadhyastham sandranandamritatmikama.
In the center of the Sudha Mandal is bliss and immortal nectar. It is Paka,
beyond everything, beautiful, giver of boons and Mother of Vedas.
It has 5 mouths, 10 arms, 15 eyes and akin to Mukta and Vidrum it is golden,
white and brilliantly shiny.
Elsewhere too this type of proof can be found where it is emphasized that
within the micro dwells the macro or cosmos. Read the following:
Srishtisamharkartarau bhramantaushashibhaskarau.
In this body along with 7 continents is Meru. Also are present there rivers,
seas, mountains, fields, farmers, Rishis, Munis, all galaxies, planets, sacred
pilgrim spots, Pithas and their deities. Moon, sun etc move about, in order to
annihilate world creation. All elements present like sky, wind, fire, water and
earth in the 3 worlds are also there in this human body. By convoluting Meru
everywhere transactions are carried out. Those who know this are true
Yogis. There is no doubt that all these are placed perfectly in this body called
the cosmos.
Sahastrorvangdhivakshaha sahastrananshirshavan.
Hence that very God after piercing the Pranas came out. It had 1000 Urus,
fingers, arms, eyes, 1000 mouths and heads and in this world, scholars via
their organs, imagine its worlds. Below the waist are 7 worlds and above the
waist are seven. From legs Bhuloka has been imagined, from the navel
Bhuvaloka, from the heart Swarloka, from the chest Mahaloka, from the
neck Janaloka, from 2 breasts Tapaloka and from the brain Satyaloka has
been imagined. This Brahmaloka is eternal and in its waist Atal has been
imagined. In Uru Vital has been imagined, from knees Sutal, in heels Tal and
Atal in the Goolf Mahatal, in the fingers Rasatal and in the inner region of
the legs Patal has been imagined. This is a Loka or world incarnate Purusha
or God.
Merely reading these verses is not enough at all. On it one must with deep
thought along with devotional sentiments the psyche should be focused and
concentrated. In the cosmic world when we directly perceive our icon deity
widespread all everywhere then in this very life each moment heaven shall be
visualized that gives benefit of vision of God.
CHAPTER 8
YOGA OF MEDITATION
At the beginning of the Gayatri Mantra the Tat word that is read over here it
connotes Yoga of Meditation and no other meaning.
Along with imagination if faith, trust, steadfastness, love, hope and regular
practice are conjoined, it is called meditation. Meditation is a sacred ideal on
the basis of which we are created. When tall buildings are constructed a
model of it is first made. Thus the building is constructed based on this
model. During meditation that image's ideal is established that becomes the
cause of our development. Those very types of qualities, actions and nature
manifest within us. The example of butterfly worm and buzzing bee is quite
famous. The bee catches hold of the worm and shuts it in its home.
Continuously the bee keeps hovering and buzzing there. The entire
consciousness of the worm gets attracted to the buzzing bee. As a result of
this first the worm's psyche and then its body becomes exactly like that of the
bee. The same process takes place in meditation. Since the human body and
mind is not as delicate as that of the worm's body and mind does not
transform in the above manner but in a major way those qualities present in
the image of meditation manifest within a person.
The Tat word of Super Mantra Gayatri hints at that Yoga of Meditation, on
the basis of which we can create such principles ourselves that help in
attaining what one desires. In meditation 2 things are most important. One is
shape and form and the other is qualities. When we meditate on something
some form or the other shall have to be demarcated for it. Its color, form,
shape, gestures, clothing facial movements shall have to be created in such a
way that the one meditating on it imbibes those very principles within. In the
same way in that meditation image such qualities shall have to be reinstated
that its influence on falling on our mind shall attract those very principles.
Due to the admixture of both form and qualities a complete image comes into
play. For various purposes such varied meditation images are created.
Teachers of Yoga Science on the basis of their profound experience have
created such meditation images whose meditation is executed for fulfilling
various goals. Meditation on the form of an image and mental reflection on
its qualities is the Yoga of Meditation of Super Mantra Gayatri.
In other words meditation practices are called eulogies too. Below we shall
mention a few eulogies that aid any devotee to fulfill his desire. Based on our
requirement and purpose a eulogy must be chosen. Early morning after
completing ablutions, sit for spiritual practice in an Asan or posture. You
should face the east. Near you place a vessel with water filled in it. Continue
reading the eulogy by concentrating on it's in depth meaning and in the mind
that Mother of Vedas (Gayatri) with great qualities must be meditated upon
with devotion. By eulogizing accompanied by meditation a devotee imbibes
that portion of Super Energy Gayatri which helps in fulfilling his wish.
Below are mentioned some useful eulogies.
Gayatri bestows well being on speech and via Sur and Muni it is worshiped.
It is called Shiva, it is primordial it is worshiped by all the 3 worlds and is the
mother of Vedas. It is Parashakti, oozes with qualities and by imbibing
various forms it manifests itself. We worship this Mother Gayatri who
creates immortal nectar and divine bliss.......... (1)
Gayatri is full of pure principles, Sattva (purity) and one that destroys
sorrow, taints and lack. It is formless, it is essence and is the image of
ceaseless austerities and is devoid of all taints. In this world she is supremely
great and senior. It is worshiped by demigods and demons. We worship this
Mother Gayatri who creates immortal nectar and divine bliss.......... (2)
It is best that Gayatri is steadfast in penance. It wards off the mental anguish
of our relatives. She is full of zest, an image of compassion and it is quite easy
to please her. She destroys all our material worldly bondage and is worth
wooing. We worship this Mother Gayatri who creates immortal nectar and
divine bliss........... (3)
Gayatri is worth worshiping ceaselessly and its worship reaps success most
definitely. It amplifies our sacred intellect. It is light manifest, without
sorrow and one that wards off dark gloom in our heart. It is beyond
everything, divine and akin to a boat that helps us cross the otherwise
impossible to cross ocean of material bondage. We worship this Mother
Gayatri who creates immortal nectar and divine bliss........... (4)
Gayatri is beyond birth and death, it is dual and tri fold, owns 3 Gunas and
very pure in form. It wards off Tamas or spiritual darkness. It is the
manageress of the entire cosmos. In hearing speech she is sweet and
nectarine. She is Mahamaya, glorified and her grandeur is ceaselessly
compassion manifest. We worship this Mother Gayatri who creates immortal
nectar and divine bliss........... (5)
Gayatri is the mother of this world and it has the power to destroy the entire
world. She is brave, patient and her life is sacredly austere. Despite being one
she is many too and her status is the presiding deity of this world. We
worship this Mother Gayatri who creates immortal nectar and divine
bliss........... (6)
Gayatri is especially pure, full of divine wisdom, one who destroys the
inertness of close relatives, full of Gunas, her mastery is sung by very wise
people, she is without parts, her qualities can never be fully described etc. We
worship this Mother Gayatri who creates immortal nectar and divine
bliss........... (7)
Those who read this Gayatri Ashtak with a pious psyche they become
fortunate i this world. Mother's full grace flows o such devotees......... (9)
CHAPTER 9
AUGMENTING SOUL AURA: BRAHMI STOTRA OR
EULOGY
O Goddess! It is you that has created duality due to your divine wish to sport
in this word. After this ego etc along with great elements got created. Again
the mind came into being. Similarly the entire visible world got created.
Hence apart from you I see nothing else in this world. In the form of this
world I meditate on you only. You are world incarnate and in this world
nothing is separate from you.
O Goddess presiding deity! You are subtler than the subtlest, Prana, Apan,
manifest and non manifest too. O Goddess! I bow down to you.
O Goddess presiding deity! You are unattainable and are primordial energy.
You are the boon giver Maheshwari. By becoming world incarnate you are
spread out in it. Hence we bow down to you.
Na tatsamashchabhyadhikashcha drishyate.
It has no activity or any cause. None can be compared to her and none are
greater than her. Her divine energy is supreme and is of varied types. Very
naturally knowledge, strength and action reside in her.
Yathaspandonishwasyantaha prashantecchstayashivaha.
Just as there is vibration in wind similarly is Lord Shiva's wish. And just as
within vibration rests peace similarly in Lord Shiva's wish is Shiva.
This Lord Shiva's wish creates this world very much akin to in the formless
space wind manifests formless sound.
Almighty God's conscious energy called Prakriti that is on the move all the
time it moves in this world as long as vision of Shiva who is eternal, self
fulfilled and beyond name and form.
Since he himself is of same form suddenly on having Lord Shiva's vision she
becomes immersed in it.
This nature on touching self fulfilled Purusha gives up nature in such a way
just as rivers give up their river form on merging with the ocean.
O Goddess that propagates this world! Your worship can never be complete
with incense, flame lamp, sweets, food, flowers, fragrance and various types
of wonderful eulogies. For that only our flowers of sacred sentiments can do
the needful. Those unable to do so can never fully worship you with other
materials. Without these flowers of sacred sentiments it remains incomplete
and shall remain thus always.
Tridevavandhya tridivadhidevi.
Traividhyuktasyafalasya datri.
Due to differences of the 3 Gunas you have varied forms and you are one that
gives 3 fruits as mentioned in the Vedas. By merely looking with compassion
you give heaven and salvation.
O Goddess! You are scriptures manifest and the supreme image of this
world. By becoming world manifest too you are the womb of this world.
Despite being conjoined to elements you are beyond them too. You are the
star of the eyes of Lord Shankar who uplifts everybody.
Whatever exists like past and future, nothing is separate from you at all. You
have a form that is beginning and beginning less and one who is prostrated
by great people. Scholarly people see you minutely and they describe you.
O Goddess! World manifest! You give merriment to this world. You are the
cause of the development of this world and are the world's shelter. You are
the presiding deity of wealth and grandeur and one that gives divine glories.
O Goddess! My prostrations at your hallowed feet!
Samudrahaimadiviranchi........... (6)
O Goddess! You are the ceaseless creator of this world and the creator of
material daily routine. O Mother! Although you are the mother of this world
even so you are said to be the daughter of the ocean, Himalaya Mountains
and Brahma.
Bhogasya bhoktri karanasya kartri dhatwavyayapratayyalinga shunya.
It is you that is material objects, the enjoyer of it and creator of wealth. You
are a void with reference to metals, Avyaya, Pratyaya and Linga. You cannot
be known via Puranas or Indian Mythology, Bheda and Vedas. We can only
meditate on you with our intellect.
Kichidyadetatvamurtiresha
Tathapyadrishyakhilsaghanaishcha.
Although your visible images have been carved, yet in actuality with all
means you are invisible only. You are with end and without end too, you are
non existence and manifested and un-manifested in form and are
development and annihilation in form.
Vishnorvidheha shankartopyabhinna.
Tyaktastayatyantanirastabudhir
Himalayadapyadhikonnatopi
O Goddess! When you take your hand away from a person he becomes
without brains and grandeur and his good fortune gets destroyed too.
Although he is higher than the Himalaya Mountains yet even ordinary
people run ahead of him. It means even lay people rebuke him.
Charachare gocharakepyagochare.
Buddhirmilindi bhavatanmadiya.
O Goddess! We pray that your lotus feet nectarine like earth is imbibed by us
in our mind so that my intellect becomes its buzzing bee. Apart from this i do
not desire anything else.
CHAPTER 10
BUDHIVARDHAK STOTRA OR EULOGY
Eight Mantras of Saraswati Ashtak are given below. By reading it aloud with
faith one's wisdom prowess increases. One's memory power increases. Fear
harbored by students of failing in their exams, scholars immersed in debates
of Holy Scriptures and for lawyers who fear losing cases gets warded off. Due
to weakness of the intellect where suspicion lurks regarding manifestation of
bad omen, all of these get destroyed on reading this eulogy aloud. Since the
intellect becomes more brilliant the existence of these undesirable elements
like fear etc is overcome.
We pray that this God incarnate Saraswati protects us who are meditated on
that Goddess by Munis in whom is included same name and form.
We pray that this God incarnate Saraswati protects us who is the infinite
divine energy of Almighty God and is fully sung in the Vedas.
It means that we pray that Saraswati takes a seat in our Yajna of Sidhyartha
Yajna and she hears and accepts our Yajna offerings and prayers.
Ya varnapadavakyaarthaswarupenaiva vartate.
That Saraswati who is always Varna, verses, sentences and meaning in form
is also beginning less, primordial and infinite. We pray that Goddess
Saraswati protects us.
We pray that Goddess Saraswati who is one that purifies us and owning all
energies desires our Yajna. With what meaning this desire should be
executed? The answer is for food via which we get more food or wealth
because Goddess Saraswati is the presiding deity of Anna Yajna. It is only
via our intellect that we can get wealth.
Ya pratyagdridhtibhirjivairvyajyamananubhuyate.
Word based sentences that are manifest and non manifest and Vedic and
other scriptures describe the detailed form of Goddess Saraswati and may
that wish fulfilling cow incarnate Saraswati who fulfills all desires protect us.
That which is the Adhidaivik and Adhyatmik energy of demigods and one
that ceaselessly inspires all energies we pray that such a Goddess Saraswati
nurture us all.
CHAPTER 11
SAMRUDHIDATA SAUBHAGYA STOTRA OR
EULOGY
For destroying sorrow, poverty and hardships and for augmenting joy and
grandeur this Saubhagya eulogy must be read aloud daily.
O protector of one who surrenders to you! Apart from you other demigods
can only shower fearlessness on us by merely raising their hands. You do not
just act superficially regarding boons and Mudra but in order to overcome
the sorrow of your devotees and your feet that gives much more than what is
asked for fulfills all mental wishes harbored by your devotees.
Na te yuktopeshamapi sharanadikshamupagate.
When the mere touch of Paras (touchstone) iron turns into gold and dirty
waters of a stream on merging into River Ganges water becomes sacred
Ganges water. Hence why shall not my mind tainted due to sins become
sacred by devoting myself to you with love? Definitely it shall become
pristine pure!
It is not necessary and definite that other demigods shall definitely give us
our desired fruits. You are capable of giving much more than what we aspire
for. Primordial Brahma and others opine that this is the only difference
between you and other demigods. It is hence that my mind/psyche is attached
to you. O Goddess! Please do what is apt.
Lord Vishnu via his discipline and grace renders the entire world
surrendered to him. But O Queen Lakshmi! The onrush of your divine
compassion stops the speedy onrush of Lord Vishnu's discipline. It means
that in front of your compassion the Lord's discipline based peace fails
totally. The Lord's punishment never works on those whom you shower
divine compassion.
Poverty, no politeness, sorrow, oppressed, executing vile actions and has gone
far away, who cannot be nurtured by heaven, who is left in the lurch by
family members even on such a person O Goddess Bhagwati! When your
grace falls night and day salvation, joy, wealth etc approaches him and
becomes his servant.
CHAPTER 12
YOGA OF THE BRILLIANTLY SHINING SUN
This verse 'Savituhu' indicates Yoga of the sun. Finally a devotee via this
Yoga becomes divine light manifest.
The sun represents heat and light. It is called the soul of this world because
atoms obtain mobility and evolution from the sun. When along with the sun
which is the center of energy Prana or vital force conjoins with it then in it
those energies manifest that are present in the sun. By coming in close
connection with a very powerful one those very qualities start appearing in a
person who is weak minded. When you keep objects near fire they become
hot. When something is placed near freezing ice it becomes cold. It is correct
that a particular object imbibes it in lesser measure and in more time and
other objects imbibes it in greater measure. For example a wooden stick
imbibes heat much more near fire than a stone. In order to ward off such a
disparity Yoga of the Sun is most required.
For everyone lies open, Sun God's infinite great energies but only that person
can use it who renders himself capable of doing so. In this manner those
energies manifest in him. Sunlight spreads out everywhere but since our
doors are closed this light cannot enter our home. Lest we wish that sunlight
enters our house we must keep open our house doors and windows. The
moment they open sunlight enters it with unobstructed speed. The same
holds true for solar energy. The more we make efforts to reach close to this
energy and rendering ourselves conducive to it to that extent these energies
shall manifest in us. The aim of Yoga of Sun is to render us so capable that
Savita's energies enter us with speed in an unobstructed way.
All material energies are manifested via the sun. Scientists are known to
unveil subtle energies from the deep recesses of Prakriti or nature. All these
are said to manifest via the sun. In this manner all transactions in world
creation are managed by the sun because its rays via various processes
creates propagates and destroys. On conjoining to the sun, man lords over all
those things that are within its periphery of jurisdiction. No object in this
world is external to sun's authority hence there is nothing that cannot be
attained via Yoga of the Sun.
Kings belonging to the solar clan would experience that energies of Savita
existed in the ancestral wealth. Kunti after invoking solar energy became
pregnant and thus Karna was born. That Putreshti Yajna performed by
King Dashrath from which 4 children full of divine qualities manifested was
actually a Solar Yajna. In Yajnas offering Ahutis to its fire is actually feeding
the sun. Creation of children, trees, plants, food, animals etc and health are
especially related to solar energy. These 2 goals are such for which imbibing
shelter of Sun God is believed to be an intense spiritual basis for its success.
The religious vow of Sunday is well known for its utility value. Mothers are
known to observe this fasting regarding various desires related to their
children. For nourishing the baby in the womb and giving birth to pious
children, pregnant women fast on Sundays. In order that children remain
healthy and warding off negativities mothers worship the sun. People with
poor health in order to overcome weakness and illnesses and in order to
attain good health like strong people they observe religious vow on Sundays.
Religious vow on Sundays is not difficult at all to observe. Those who are
healthy can avoid food totally. Without food means drinking only water on
that day. Falahar means devouring milk, curd, fruit, vegetables etc. Those
that cannot remain without food and Falahar can eat just once in the day
food that is made from grain with lentils, vegetables, milk and curd. Salt and
sugar should be avoided totally. In this manner eating food just once that is
tasteless and sacred in nature means executing half a vow and fast.
The ordinary vow of solar meditation encompasses giving Arghya to the sun,
offering water, meditating on the sun, mentally circumambulating it, bowing
down to it, chanting the Mantra 'Om suryaya namaha' etc. It can easily be
done by anyone daily. During days of fasting it should be used daily. The
exercise of Surya Namaskar has been detailed by me in a book called
'Pratyaksha faldayini sadhana'. By doing Surya Namaskar as given there our
health improves greatly.
By covering your head in sunlight lying down naked is a very good therapy
for warding off diseases. In fact tuberculosis also can be warded off. Water
heated under sunlight and used for bathing is a very useful medicine. After
washing clothes drying them under the sun is a very good method to render
them clean. It is said that in those homes where sunlight enters, doctors never
come there. The meaning of doctors not going there is remaining healthy and
disease free. The rays of Sun God possess extraordinary energy to destroy
germs of various diseases. The more man remains close to the sun the more
he is protected from diseases. All creatures of nature move around naked in
front of their father viz. Sun God. It is hence that they never become ill. Our
ancestors also apart from lightly covering their nakedness did not wear other
clothes in their daily lives. They very well knew that the more solar rays
enter our body via the skin pores the more they would remain healthy and
disease free. Today in our daily living we have almost fully forgotten the
importance of Solar Meditation. We are not satisfied that we put layers of
clothes on our body. By covering our body with many clothes renders our
skin yellow. The energy to endure the influence of seasonal changes weakens
a lot. Day by day many diseases attack us like common cold, coughing, heat,
allergy, itching and so on. The devotees of Yoga of Sun are well aware of this
mystery and hence try to keep as many bodily parts as possible. They wear
only those many clothes as are minimally required.
A mythological belief says that 7 horses are attached to the sun's chariot.
These 7 horses connote 7 types of rays of the sun. Innumerable sun rays of
Sun God enter our planet earth and they have 7 colors. These colors are seen
in the rainbow and can be seen also in thin strips cut from glass lenses. Along
with these colors, some special energy is conjoined. To the extent these
energies gathers in a particular place and in more or less measure or in the
form of an admixture there those very colors are noted. In this manner in
things of varied colors separate types of qualities manifest.
Western scientists have seen via subtle technology thoughts that fly about
after coming out of the brain. They have seen varied types of thoughts with
color and form. The color of anger is red, black thoughts of sins, the color of
wisdom and discrimination is yellow, the color of renunciation and
gratefulness is ochre, that of peace is blue, that of zest is pink, that of
Kutaniti is brownish, that of desiring to enjoy objects is purple, the color of
joy and satisfaction is green, that of greed is Basanti, that of creation is
Khakhi, the color of development is Moongiya, the color of steadfastness is
grey, the color of sweetness is wheat like, that of restlessness is Rupahala,
that of wiliness is of mud, that of ego is brown and color of laid back and
stinginess is pink. These thought waves attained from colors appear from
solar rays. This is because every ray owns some material and some spiritual
influence. Wherever there is a particular color there starts gathering both
types of specialties of the sun's rays.
On understanding this mystery a Sun Yogi for varied tasks imbibes the
wisdom of usage of various colors. He makes such arrangements for colors of
food, clothes, medicines, whitewashing the house, curtain, painting, vessel,
vehicle, animals that are useful, tools, materials used etc that is useful for
him. In order to ward off any difficulty and gathering requirements he
makes full use of this Science of Color. By renouncing certain objects of a
particular color and using certain colored objects a lot more he accrues such
important benefits that are difficult to attain via other methods. Science of
Color too is a leading part of Yoga of the Sun.
Piercing and activating the Solar Wheel and its onrush is a secret process of
this Yoga. Solar Wheel has 2 areas-one is hard and the other is the stomach.
Heart is the chief center and the stomach is its branch. Hence the Solar
Wheel situated in the tummy is called Upachandra or Chandra Wheel. The
description of the Wheel in the heart center is white light, very brilliant,
shape is round and nature is hot. The color of Wheel attached to the stomach
is yellow, light is like moon, shape is like a candle flame, it is thick below and
thin above and its nature is cool. Due to the differences in characteristics they
are called Solar Wheel and Lunar Wheel. In reality both are Solar Wheel.
The light on moon actually is that of the sun. When solar rays do not fall on
the moon then poor fellow's existence too is invisible.
Sun Yogis in order to render advanced certain energies and incite them take
recourse to the Solar Wheel and in order to calm down and destroy certain
not required thought waves make use of the Lunar Wheel. Via a healthy
peaceful psyche, if one meditates on these Wheels or Chakras heat and cold
increase in the body and psyche. If the body is hotter by meditating on the
Lunar Wheel it calms down and when it is very cold the moment we meditate
on the Solar Wheel heat circulates in our nerves. When we wish to increase a
certain type of sentiment and incite it by imbibing it in our psyche the Solar
Wheel is meditated upon. Any thought wave that needs to be calmed down
keeping it in our sentimental realm in the stomach the Lunar Wheel is
meditated upon. Thus ceaselessly peace increases and unruliness and
incitement keep decreasing. Via this procedure a Sun Yogi keeps rendering
his psyche well balanced and by protecting life's development from
mismanagement it is made to head towards proper management.
Yoga of the Sun has many branches. It is a great science on the basis of
which the form of an object too can be changed. Swami Vishudhanandji was
adept at transforming one species of a flower into another species. He would
say that in the same way all objects of the world can be changed from one
form to another. The visible form of a material can be changed by removing
a certain measure of atoms of a certain element and in its place adding a
certain element in a certain measure. The managing existence of the sun has
control over elements and their atoms hence via solar energy every object
can be changed into something else. Yoga of the Sun is mind boggling and
one succeeds in it via practice, efforts and immense patience while doing its
spiritual efforts. One cannot publish in books the mystery of spiritual
practices and only a mere hint can be mentioned. An experienced master
recounts this mystery only to a qualified credible disciple.
CHAPTER 13
YOGA OF ENERGY
This verse 'Tadantar varenyam' has been said for great Yogis. Via this Yoga
of Energy the one soul of one doing its Japa or Mantra chanting becomes all
powerful and omnipotent.
This soul cannot be attained via a weak minded person. Forget attaining the
soul even mundane materials cannot be got. The more someone is powerful
in comparison to lay people he is more supreme. Hence in the Varenya word
in Super Mantra Gayatri it is said that it hints towards Yoga of Energy.
Those that worship Shakti or divine energy are called Shaktas. In India
Shakti Theory has accrued a lot of respect and has been rendered
widespread. But in the past Dark Era by rendering this Great Principle as a
source of sense titillation, it started indulging in alcohol, flesh eating and
unlawful sex. In reality it is not as ill famed as was noted in the past due to it
imbibing a bad form.
Those tasks that manifest all the above 8 energies come within the arena of
Yoga of Energy. In order to increase the powers of knowledge, health,
wealth, congregation, qualities, status, bravery and truth man as per his state
must work in his own way. Since the state and interest of all are different
everyone has to demarcate their own methods. All these solutions and
applications are a part of Yoga of Energy. A Yogi of this path imbibes as
much as is possible and thus becomes powerful.
Energy is wealth. One can use energy in any direction one wishes to. With
wealth you can earn righteousness, one can work for others' well being and
welfare, we can gather means for soul advancement, we ourselves can live
peacefully and help others do so too but if someone desires one can misuse
wealth too. It can be wasted in useless endeavor and could be used in such
vile tasks that its result would become ghastly for oneself and others too. In
actions like alcohol intake and prostitution wealth is misused a lot. Its results
could be a downfall with respect to body, mind and finances. Similarly the
wealth of power and energy too could be put to use in any direction we want.
By using it piously we can reinstate joy not only in our lives but could be
reinstated in other people's lives too. But if it is misused lots of undesirable
and terrible situations have to be faced. Demigods too possess energy along
with demons. Demigods on using energy aptly establish peace and happiness
everywhere whereas demons with this very energy spread about everywhere
chaos, harassment, pain and unruliness. Hence the chief part of Yoga of
Energy is controlling energy optimally and applying it for sacred wholesome
activities. In a nutshell this is the gist of Yoga of Energy involving imbibing
as much energy as possible and using it for supremely great tasks.
For gathering energy even this is required that those openings are kept shut
wherein our hard earned energy wastefully gets drained away. We may
collect any amount of milk in a vessel with holes in it will enter the holes and
get drained away. Thus our hopes shall get dashed to the ground hence if we
wish to gather something those holes shall have to be sealed since day after
day they render us weak. Such holes are mainly of 3 types. In Durga
biography the method of obstructing it is described in a beautiful symbolic
manner.
The 2nd enemy is anger. Anger over here means mental incitement. The
children of anger are worry, fear, hatred, sorrow, arrogance, irritation, ego,
downfallen state, hopelessness, incitement, keep muttering foolishly, onrush
of ire, restlessness etc. The heart and brain can carry out an important task
only if the mind is calm and poised. In the state of incitement his decision,
program, thought, actions etc are all error prone. And the result of wrong
actions leads to more wrong activities. It is hence that a wrathful man does
not find the right path and does not reach the desired great goal. This anger
is Mahishasur. Energy donning the garb of Goddess Mahakali destroys
anger and only then the bugle of victory is sounded.
Durga took birth in the form of collective energies of all demigods. The story
described is that on being harassed by demons the demigods gathered
together and they each contributed their divine energies. After handing over
their weapons they created a united central power that was called Durga.
This Durga killed all demons. Demigods could never defeat demons in a lone
individual manner. Hence they all centralized their energy in a united
focused manner. Man cannot win over his difficulties in a lone manner. With
the help of others he has to create a centralized power. The more someone's
organization is huge, the more he has public power backing him he is that
much more powerful and capable. In nations adhering to democracy all
political power is focused on voting only. Apart from politics even in realms
of social, financial, religious and spirituality organization power has its deep
import. In Kaliyuga or Dark Era scriptural scholars have especially given
major importance to organization power.
Durga means that which is difficult. Durga is one that overcomes difficulties.
The collective energy of demigods and great men is called Durga. It wards off
the difficulties of man individually and collectively. The collective energy of
demons augments hardships in the world but the congregation of demigods
always overcomes hardships in the world. Hence a Yogi of Energy tries to
make such an organization that has people of his own pious nature and
makes it strong and gigantic in measure for fulfilling great tasks. Grass
blades join together to become a strong rope that can tie up a huge robust
elephant. If a huge organization of small stature people is gathered united
full of strength they can reach that goal which appears to be difficult to
attain.
Great scriptures opine that man's intellect should be like demigods and
energy that of demons. Those not possessing energy akin to that of demons
cannot be called a total complete person. Lest gentlemanliness is conjoined to
untold energy it is sign of foolishness and cowardice. Great is he who is
gentlemanly in mind and conjoined to energy and externally an all round
gentleman. The ideal of a Yogi of Energy is this very supremacy since they
have an intellect as divine akin to demigods and they adorn themselves with
energy of demigods. It is most required that energy is conjoined to truth. In
the English language there is a saying 'Right is might therefore might is
right'. Truth itself is energy and hence energy is truth. A Yogi of Energy
believes in this thoroughly and as per his state via many methods gathers
energy for many great tasks.
CHAPTER 14
YOGA OF PRANA OR VITAL FORCE
Bhargeti pranayogena jayate bhargasadhana.
From the word Bharga we come to know that the spiritual practice of
Bharga is carried out via Prana Yoga. Also via this spiritual practice of
Bharga our Prana or vital force comes under our mastery and thus man can
attain just about anything.
Via the word Bharga Yoga of Vital Force is indicated. Bharga is called
radiant aura. It is Prana that is the light manifestation of living beings called
Pranis. Since Prana predominates, the word Prani came into being. The
more a living being manifests Prana he is full of that much specialties,
enterprising, supreme, well advanced and great. The lesser the Prana in any
creature the more weak, useless, fallen down and lethargic it is.
The meaning of augmenting vital force is that we fill that divine principle
within us, via which man's energies advance in various directions. Prana is
called life force too. Via it our life span can increase or decrease. Death can
be pushed afar. Bhishma Pitamaha of epic Mahabharat fame had staved off
death for 6 months. The children of people full of radiant life force are
beautiful, healthy, lovely aura, active and live long lives. The sperm of
majority of people with weak vital force gets drained away to naught. Even if
somehow such a mother becomes pregnant the child born is ugly,
handicapped, ill, lethargic foolish and lives a short life.
The chief identity of a man imbued with strong vital force is his radiant
personality. The face of a man with intense life force shines radiantly, speech
is powerful, strong and effective, his thoughts shall have practical
intelligence, he shall be farsighted discrimination and his working style shall
be profound. His inner nature oozes with patience, daring, steadfastness and
power of endurance. Where vital force is weak such people reek of fear,
restlessness, hollowness, cowardice, narrow mindedness, stingy, selfishness,
hopelessness, stress, worry, lethargy etc. Such people day after day head
towards a downfall in life both materially and spiritually.
For augmenting and nourishing Prana that is the leading element of life in
the Bharga word of Super Mantra Galati a divine command has been given.
For augmenting Prana, Pranayam is very helpful. Vital force increases via
pure food and regular eating, well managed daily routine, stress and worry
free mind, happy psyche and celibacy. Apart from this via Yogic Pranayam
can be increased greatly.
There are many detailed books on Pranayam. In a book written by me called
'Asan aur pranayam' many types of Pranayam have been described. All of
these are very beneficial. In my book called 'Prana chikitsa vijnan' in great
detail I have written about gathering vital force and method of not only
curing your own disease but can cure others too. Readers by reading both
these books can get a lot of information about Science of Prana (vital force).
Below we shall describe an easy method to attract and imbibe vital force.
Despite it being very easy in order to increase vital force in comparison to
other methods that are difficult this one is more beneficial. This method is
being given below.
Go to a place that has solitude. After placing a soft sheet on ground that is
even lie down on your back. The face should be upwards. Your legs, waist,
chest, head etc should be in one line. Both hands should by on the Surya
Chakra or Solar Wheel (it is that area of the stomach where the ribs and
stomach meet) and close your mouth. Relax your entire body as though it is
inert like any material object and that you do not have any relationship with
it. By imbibing the attitude of relaxation for sometime the body will become
very flexible. Now slowly start inhaling air via your nose and with firm
energy imbibe the feeling that from the cosmic great storehouse of vital force
I am imbibing clean Prana Energy. This vital force after circulating in my
blood circulation system and all nerve networks is getting focused on the
Surya Chakra or Solar Wheel. In the world of imagination imbibe this
attitude so firmly that electricity like rays of Prana Energy via the nostrils
are rushing into my body that is being seen by me akin to a movie. The
circulation of blood and nerve network appears like a painting and in it one
can see vital force flowing like a stream. The more your sentiments are
sacred the more you can imbibe Prana Energy. Fill your lungs fully with air
and stop breathing for 5-10 seconds. In the initial stage 5 seconds is enough
but later when your spiritual practice advances increase it to 10 seconds. At
the time of stopping breathing you must experience that vital force has filled
your lungs immensely. Now exhale air from your mouth slowly. While you
exhale experience that all your bodily taints, diseases and venom are coming
out along with it. For 10 seconds remain without any air and then again start
the Pranakarshan Pranayam as described above. We must remember that
the root principle of this Pranayam is not meant for inhaling and exhaling air
but is in that feeling of attraction according to which we actually visualize
like a movie that Prana is filling up our entire being.
After finishing the practice get up and sit. You shall experience blood
circulation quickening in speed and that lightning has spread in the entire
body. After finishing the practice for some time you must sit in an area of
solitude. And if it is possible eat some wholesome food and drink. After
getting up from your practice start doing some tough task. Do not bathe, eat
food or involve yourself in sexual activities.
CHAPTER 15
EIGHT TYPES OF PRANAYAM OR YOGIC
BREATHING EXERCISES
By itself there are many types of Pranayam but 8 amongst them are very
useful. One part of an article penned by Swami Krishnanandji in the
magazine called Sahyogi Kalyan good light has been thrown on it.
If in the starting stage you cannot do Kumbhak for 16.5 seconds then
do it for lesser time as is in your capacity. Never insist on doing
Kumbhak for excess time. The time of Kumbhak must be increased in
the time frame of seconds. In this manner in about 3-4 months you
shall enter the middle stage of Pranayam. After practicing for 3-4
months more you shall enter the 1st class stage of Pranayam. After
that, think about other types of Pranayam in accordance with time,
place and nature. After completing 1st class stage of Pranayam one
can practice Khechri. Due to practice of Khechri Kumbhak increases
quite fast.
Both in the mrning and evening same Kriyas must be practiced but if
you are tired do a little of it at night. If you wish to do Asan and
Vipareetkarni Mudra do it in the morning before you do Pranayam.
Do not do Asan and Vipareetkarni Mudra in the evening. In fact
practice of Vipareetkarni Mudra at night is said to be very
detrimental.
2) SURYABHEDI PRANAYAM:
At first, after doing Rechak do Poorak from the Surya Naadi or right
nostril. Then after doing Kumbhak do Rechak from Chandra Naadi
or left nostril. In this type of Pranayam too you must do Jalandar
Bandha etc as mentioned previously. Such a type of Pranayam is
called Suryabhedan Pranayam. In Anulom Vilom from both nostrils
Rechak and Poorak is done but in this Pranayam only 1 poorak in
right nostril and one Rechak in left nostril is done. This then is the
difference between both.
Since the right lung is connected to the liver via this Pranayam bile
increases in the body along with heat also. Hence the onrush of Vaat-
wind and Kuf-phlegm calms down. Phlegm in the forehead,
distortions vessels carrying air, blood problems, skin problems,
stomach germs, germs from perspiration and microbes emerging
from leprosy and other diseases get destroyed. It is not correct to do
this Pranayam in hot summer. It is not good for people whose bile
predominates.
3) UJJAYI PRANAYAM:
By lowering your face a bit making sound from the throat to the heart
help wind enter the lungs. In this manner inhale air in small measure
from both nostrils simultaneously. After doing Poorak and Kumbhak
for 4-5 seconds do Rechak from the Ida Naadi. In this Pranayam
Rechak, Poorak and Kumbhak are executed in small measure only. In
this it is not compulsory to do Jalandar Bandha etc. This Pranayam
can be practiced while sitting, walking, standing or in sleeping
position i.e. in Shavasan. When due to bodily distortion other types of
Pranayam are not possible to perform this Pranam can be practiced.
When due to bodily distortion other types of Pranayam are not
possible to perform or id time is not conducive do Ujjayi Pranayam
for one hour.
With the help of this Pranayam diseases related phlegm, stomach,
water collecting in the stomach, less hunger, indigestion, flesh and
obstruction of stools getting excreted and bodily heat gets ignited.
4) SHITKARI:
By sticking out your tongue from between the teeth up to the lips
inhaling air is called Shitkari Pranayam. In this Pranayam wind
comes in via the use of the tongue. In it after doing Kumbhak for 4-5
seconds do Rechak from both nostrils slowly. In this too Bandha
practice is not required but if you want to do Kumbhak for more time
it is mandatory to do Bandha.
Via this bile can be produced by the liver. Due to this hunger, thirst,
sleep and harassment of lethargy can be stopped. The more the irate
bile calms down the more our body becomes radiant. Due to air of
Poorak Prana Energy imbibes more strength. Hence the body does
not become weak.
5) SHITALI:
Sticking your tongue out about 1 thumb size outside the lips rendering
it like a beak of a bird attract air from outside. Then after doinf a bit
of Kumbhak do Rechak slowly from both nostrils. This procedure is
called Shitali Pranayam. Diseases like that of excretion, spleen,
stomach, diohhroea, constipation, bile increase, burns, sour bile,
blood bile, hunger, thirst, hysteria etc are overcome. For 1/2 an hour
both in the morning and evening this should be practiced. In cold
winter and those people whose phlegm amount is more must refrain
from doing it.
6) BHASTRA:
7) BHRAMRI:
After sitting in Sidhasan posture close your eyes and focusing between
the eyebrows do Jalandhar Bandha. In this Pranayam Jalandhar
Bandha should be adhered to strictly. Then through the nostrils ain to
sound made by a buzzing bee do Poorak along with the buzzing
sound. Then doing Kumbhak for 3 seconds slowly along with the
sound do Rechak. In this manner do this Pranayam for 144 times. It is
heard of that in the Buddhist sect Bhramari and unconscious
Kumbhak are quite in vogue. In this Kumbhak there are 5 stages. In
the 1st stage after doing Poorak at the time of doing Kumbhak
Mahamudra is done. After doing Kumbhak for 3 seconds again seated
in Siddhasan Rechak is done. First via the left leg, then via the right
leg and then after spreading both legs this Pranayam is done. There is
a difference between Mahamudra done with other Pranayams and
Mahamudra done during Bhramari. Some devotees do this
Mahamudra 48-72 times. Hence after 1 year 6 inches ahead of the
knee and 60 inches above the ankle bone one touches the forehead.
After gaining success in the 1st stage in the 2nd stage after doing
Khechri Kumbhak of 6 seconds is done and as per the method at one
phase of time moving the head in a round manner from left to the
right direction and doing Jalandhar Bandha Rechak is practiced. Via
this method in 144 Kumbhaks 144 times the head has to be moved. In
this manner in the 3rd, 4th and 5th stage Kumbhak is increased and
the head is also moved for more time. Due to this circular head
movement it seems as though Prana principle is rotating in all
directions. After doing this Pranayam Naad (sound) is emitted very
loudly. Thus the psyche gets focused quite quickly.
8) MURCCHA:
After completion of Brahmari practice seated in Siddhasan doing
Poorak via both nostrils Jalandhar Bandha should be executed.
Afterwards place on both ears, eyes, nostrils and mouth the thumb,
index finger, middle finger, ring finger and little finger in that order
and do Kumbhak for 6 seconds. Later relax the ring finger placed on
the nostril while doing Jalandhar Bandha; slowly do Rechak in both
nostrils. If you conjoin Murccha to other Pranayams, Kumbhak
increases. But Rechak is done from both nostrils. For more Kumbhak
Uddiyan Bandha is done and at the time of Rechak Jalandhar Bandha
is removed.
At the time of Rechak with closed eyes one can see Prana principle
between the eye brows in the form of white, blue, black and red light.
After doing this Pranayam once, seated in Bhramari Sidhasan posture
and lying down in Shavasan like other Pranayam one can do Naad
Yoga.
CHAPTER 16
SAHAJ YOGA
The term Devasya connotes that Yoga of Divinity that bestows divinity on
that person doing spiritual practice.
In the above couplet he has hinted about attaining all Divine Powers via
Sahaj Yoga. What exactly is Sahaj Yoga? A bit of information can be got
from the above couplet itself. Rendering the mind a Yogi itself is Sahaj Yoga.
In this Yoga rendering the body a Yogi and adorning it with clothes etc of
aYogi is strongly opposed. Instead it is emphasized that the mind be
rendered a Yogi. Via the body like Kabir doing a weaver's job, while woking
as a cobbler like Saint Raidas, doing business like Tuladhar, like King Janak
despite ruling a kingdom man's mind can be rendered a Yogi. Man despite
wearing ordinary clothes, doing ordinary jobs can follow the path of Sahaj
Yoga.
This spiritual practice is not so difficult. It is natural for any person in any
state. Keeping this fact in mind it is called Sahaj Yoga. Unnatural, not
required, falsehood, non beneficial and inapt things are always difficult,
inaccessible and requires lots of hard work. But that which is natural, most
required, true and beneficial are Sahaj or easy to attain. In life what are most
required are air, then water, then food and then clothes. Based on
requirements they are available in optimal measure. Air is spread out
everywhere in unlimited measure because without it we cannot remain alive
for even a few minutes. It is attained so easily that we do not even know
about it and thousands of tons of air enter our body and them gets evicted
out daily. A little bit down the ladder comes water; without water we may be
able to live for a couple of days hence availability of water in comparison to
air is that much more difficult to attain. Although it is not sold yet in order to
avail it we have to go to wells, lakes etc and a bit of difficulty have to be
endured. Food comes third. Without food a person can live for about 10-20
days hence more efforts are required to procure it. Even so in comparison to
other materials produced in the entire world it is done so much more and it
can be got from all regions. The 4th number is that of clothes. Hence it is
more expensive than food. In this manner the more anything in life is
required and is true its attainment is easier. What is dangerous is less
available. Cow, buffalo, goat etc that give milk products and other useful
animals are seen in huge herds but violent creatures like lion, cobra etc are
there in very small numbers. They lie hidden in far off places. Not everyone
can see them and it is that rare hunter or snake charmer that can succeed in
searching them. It is easy to procure sugar, salt, milk, fruits, vegetables etc
but harmful materials like arsenic, Halahal poison, other drugs etc are not
easily available. I order to get them a lot of danger and hardship has to be
endured.
That Yoga which is required, apt and truly beneficial must be easily
accessible as per norms given above. Any Yoga method that is not much
required, complex, mysterious and revolutionary must be looked upon as
useless and against the wish of Almighty God. The spiritual seer Saint Kabir
placed before all lay people the principle of this great truth. He has clarified
that Yoga is easily accessible or Sahaj. Via spiritual practice of this Sahaj
Yoga a devotee can attain all Sidhis or Divine Powers.
The spiritual practice of this Sahaj Yoga is to render the mind a great Yogi.
Yoga means to unite and join. The procedure of true Yoga is to render the
mind great, Prana into great Prana, the soul into Almighty God, the
microcosm into macrocosm and selfishness into world welfare. On
recognizing one's Existence-Consciousness-Bliss nature, the living soul
identifies its true inner nature and awakens in his role of spirituality, his
life's viewpoint changes. Those who awaken to their imperishable soul form
they experience their gross body to be like clothes. Just as in comparison the
benefits-loss of clothes we give more importance to the benefits-loss of our
body similarly a person having awakened to his imperishable soul form man
by not giving much importance to bodily benefits-loss, joy-sorrow, uplifting-
demeaning and wealth-sorrow zealously emphasizes on the welfare of the
soul.
By conjoining the mind to the heart, the intellect to the psyche man's inner
viewpoint changes and his standpoint becomes something else. From the
viewpoint of benefits-loss of the human body immersed in being a non Yogi,
being bound to spiritual darkness and facing the vicious cycle of birth-death
man thinks about everything and then acts in accordance with it. But a
person with a Yogi's intellect keeping in mind the benefits-loss of the soul
carries out his thinking and all its actions. People with strong bodily
identification experiences pleasure in material sense merriment and they
yearn for tasty food, entertainment, dance, singing, instruments, sexual
union, clothes, ornaments, palace, cars, servants, wealth etc when these
increase there is pleasure when they decrease there is sorrow. While trying to
attain them he even forgets to discriminate whether they are apt or inapt. He
will make efforts that maybe ethical or unethical in getting them. But the
viewpoint of a true Yogi is entirely different. He does not see joy in enjoying
sense objects or make organizations of worldly sects. A Yogi harboring faith
that 'I am the imperishable soul' will experience happiness in what is apt and
inapt for his soul. The body likes Rajas and the soul adores Sattva Guna. In
the actions of a person immersed in his soul Sattva Guna predominates. He
imbibes wholesome actions and great qualities. His speech oozes with love,
kindness, sympathy, generosity, humility and sweetness. His actions gush
forth with a sense of humble service to all. His viewpoint overflows with
selfless service. He enacts every task with a sense of humble service, sense of
righteous duty and Yajna sentiments. The value of any action is based on
one's type of sentiments harbored. The form of actions executed with Yajna
sentiments from the external standpoint maybe of any type yet its fruit is that
of Yajna variety. Even a small action executed with a sense of humble service
gives huge meritorious boons. Similarly great tasks of superficial quality
done with vile thinking reap sins only.
The predominant process of this Sahaj Yoga is to 'render the mind a Yogi'.
Its method of spiritual practice involves rendering ourselves within very
awakened and full of soul awareness. 'I am the imperishable soul, my body is
merely like clothes we wear whatever I shall do shall be to benefit the soul'.
This sacred sentimental Mantra must be repeated uninterrupted in the
psyche and with a sharp vision we must self introspect as to whether it is
conducive the sacred sentiments of thought and actions carried out. Lest
there is some obstacle or some fault in it then by becoming very alert
immediately make efforts to correct that flaw. In this manner while
ceaselessly doing self introspection and by imbibing in great measure good
will, good qualities and carrying out great tasks slowly in a short time span
this thinking by becoming firm shall become a great habit. At that time man
will feel this Sahaj Yoga to be as easy as a mundane person feels his daily
routine tasks to be ordinary.
One with a true heart makes his mind a Yogi, one that conjoins the intellect
to the soul is a true Sahaj Yogi, great saint and man of great austerities. It is
he who is loved by Almighty God and attains him too. This is even though his
profession and clothing are ordinary.
CHAPTER 17
THE STATE OF A STHITA PRAJNA OR GOD
REALIZED PERSON
The root of Sahaj Yoga is 'simple living and high thinking'. The states of
detached like a lotus leaf in water, unattached, Sthita Prajna and one
immersed in the atman or soul is this only. Instead of rendering your
viewpoint material in nature making it spiritual and thinking of each thing
from the spiritual standpoint and acting in accordance with it is the state of a
Sahaj Yogi. One must remain awakened towards one's nature, desire,
aspiration mode of working in a minute manner so that no problem comes up
that goes against one's standpoint of life. This in itself is the Anushthan
(method) of Sahaj Yoga. Ceaselessly each moment one must fight one's inner
enemies, tainted thoughts, bad sentiments and vile desires and taking
recourse to good feelings, good thinking and great activities.
Sahaj Yoga is Sahaj or easier to follow from this standpoint that there is no
complexity like hanging upside down, lighting bon fires, leaving home and
wearing strange clothes or eating via begging for food. Akin to an ordinary
person while doing business, eating-resting habits and following one's
lifestyle everyone in any state can do Sahaj Yoga but via that viewpoint it is
difficult in the sense that one has to remain aware each moment of life. One
does not get success merely by practicing it for half or 1 hour. After every
few minutes one has to witness by focusing on the soul that the mode of
working and thinking process is trending in the correct direction or not.
When armies fight each other the aides and officers of the army general
seated at a height view from the binoculars how their army facing the attack
of the enemy camp soldiers is fairing. It is these witnessing officers that give
details of the war to their general. In accordance with this information the
general designs programs like asking his soldiers to march forward, defeat
the enemy etc. In this manner the intellect of a follower of Sahaj Yoga akin to
a minutely witnessing army officer along with total awareness and
cautiousness keeps noting mentally as to how Sattvik and Tamasik soldiers
are executing their task. This information is given by him to the general
called the psyche and in accordance with it this general makes programs
based on way to attain victory in this particular spiritual practice. Ultimately
sweet success is attained.
This task certainly is not to be done hastily, not like making a quick buck or
like placing a mustard seed on the palm. It takes time for actions to bear
fruits. A seed sown takes time to sprout and bear fruits. Uncooked food
placed in a pot above fire gets cooked after a certain length of time. A student
after studying for a fair length of time becomes a graduate. One becomes an
adept wrestler only after practicing in a gymnasium for a long period of time.
Right from starting some work till it gets completed many obstacles have to
be faced. Many times bad days have to be faced and situations of
hopelessness stare at us. Despite this if patiently ceaseless efforts are made a
time comes when success is accrued.
In the initial stage of Sahaj Yoga it so happens that the devotee makes efforts
to render his thinking and actions Sattvik, high stature, sacred and leaning
towards true spirituality but sometimes such a stormy situation that all his
efforts go down the drain. Sometimes our past lifetimes' sorrow reeks forth
and due to greed the devotee strays away from the well defined path he was
walking on. When some allurement or occasion arises the devotee thinks as
to let me eat some tasty item and I will do it just once. On seeing the
enticement bang in front of him, seeing the food served in a plate the mouth
starts watering. The storm of past innumerable lifetimes rushes forth with
speed and thus in the daily spiritual practice followed the method and
arrangements go awry and thus the devotee experiences a downfall. Apart
from greed the storm of anger too arises. The devotee thinks that he shall
behave humbly with everybody but sometimes when someone behaves very
abominably the devotee starts fighting with him or else pays back a horrible
person with the same coin. After having entered the fray of greed or wrath
the devotee realizes that he has erred. He feels quite sad, experiences
weakness of mind and thinks that a weak hearted person like him can never
succeed in this spiritual practice. Being upset with such a hopeless situation
he gives up making any further efforts.
Regarding difficulties and failure each devotee must clearly understand that
one cannot totally eradicate greed etc merely in the preliminary stages of
spiritual practice. One cannot ward off habits of so many past lifetimes
merely in 1 day. Sequentially and slowly they become alright. Those that ride
cycles that while learning to climb and sit on it so many times one falls down.
Swimmers know that merely by placing ones feet in water one does not
become a good swimmer. Instead after undergoing so much drowning, one
masters the art of swimming. Due to their mistake students daily get rebuked
by their teachers but does any student give up studying thinking that he is
making mistakes everyday and that daily he faults in front of the teacher.
Despite making mistakes daily a student continues his studies ceaselessly. He
forgets his mistakes and remembers success reaped. When a student gets
90% he jumps up in joy and everyone praises him. No doubt this student had
made mistakes and that 20% of his answers to question were error prone.
Hence for this 20% failure he can be called a dull, dolt, foolish, caution less,
incapable but despite these mistakes the student does not despair and none
others demean him. In comparison to mistakes he gave us evidence of his
mental awareness and alertness. The pan of success was heavier than that of
failure. It certainly is praiseworthy that this much happened in this way.
Hence those who get more than 50% in their exams are said to have passed
it. He is patted on his back and praised a lot.
Devotees must take a leaf out of the books of such students. When small
children do not get scared of failure, they do not lose their bravery, they do
not get cowered down by defeat, despair, fear etc and instead by ignoring all
mistakes made they continue with their program, can't new devotees follow
suit? We must learn for every mistake made and each time, take a step
forward with more caution. When you fall down stand up, removing all dust
get up and again commence your task. Falling down is not shameful at all
because each that climbs falls down. What is shameful is that out of fear of
falling down one gives up all efforts. It is quite possible that a spiritual seeker
has to ceaselessly face bad thoughts and that taints spread out in his task.
Enemy psychic imprints each moment attack us but by looking upon it as a
challenge make a powerful resolve to uproot them in totality. The more the
resolve is balanced, serious and filled with truth the more sweet success is
tasted.
1) I will not rest till I destroy these vile psychic imprints from their
very foundation.
It is an error to try and satiate impossible desires and this mistake is called
Sham or Maya. A living being is said to be bound by Maya when he looks
upon bodily greed as the be all and end all of life. When this Maya intensifies,
blinded by very strong desire of bodily type, ignoring the discipline of
righteousness works so hard in order to amass sense pleasure based
materials. Thus his tasks reek with oppression, kidnapping, fraud, hypocrisy,
materialism, falsehood, robbery, violence, rape, extramarital sex, ego, hard
heartedness etc and such a person are called inhuman beasts.
In the psyche of demigods, people bound by Maya and human ghosts only
one thought rules viz. selfishness based practices. Each person desires his
own joy, his own welfare and his own advancement. The activities of all three
are executed with one type of inspiration only. The difference is only that of
soul state and bodily state. Those reinstated in soul sentiments their
selfishness is praised as being selflessly spiritual. The selfishness of people
bound by Maya is called selfishness only and it is rebuked by others. Those
that are human ghosts their selfishness is termed ghastly and utter hatred is
spewed on them. The lay public opposes and destroys it. Those that are truly
spiritual in nature they experience divine bliss. A living being remain restless
due to greed and selfish desires and human ghosts are immersed in worry,
tension and burn in varied types of pain.
Definitely there is bliss in the soul state and bodily identification is full of
sorrow. Hence in order to imbibe in order to imbibe true happiness and
selfishness we must make efforts to get reinstated in the soul arena. This
effort is called Sahaj Yoga. Despite facing difficulties and failure time and
again we must continue with this spiritual practice. A person with a firm
resolve some day or the other definitely reaches the desired goal.
CHAPTER 18
In the above verse Saint Guru Kabir has clarified regarding the state of
Sahaj Samadhi or divine trance while one is in the waking state. This
Samadhi is natural, anyone can access it and it is in the energy of spiritual
practice of all people. Hence he termed it Sahaj Samadhi or divine trance.
The spiritual practices of Hath Yoga, Raja Yoga, Laya Yoga, Naada Yoga,
Bindu Yoga etc are quite tough to follow. While practicing these reaching the
state of trance is extraordinarily full of hardships. It is not easy at all for
everyone to do penance for so many years and the hardship filled spiritual
practice of piercing the 6 Chakras. In front of an adept Guru these processes
have to be executed with utmost caution. If this practice stops midway
dangerous situations can stare at them. This is akin to terrible situations
faced by Yoga Brashtas. Saint Kabir gives predominance to Sahaj Yoga. The
essence of this Yoga is living a principled life and programs full of
righteousness. Generally people schedule their program reeking with sense
merriment, beastly thinking, desires, anger, greed and lowly deluded
aspirations.
Hoarding wealth
Fulfilling egoistic desires
Entertainment
Sexual union
Tasty food
Nourishing deluded attachment
Yearning to hoard as much as possible
A life that moves on the axis of these 7 desires is said to be a life of fleeting
sense titillation. Those who are surrounded by this small periphery and limit
their thinking and actions to it are in material bondage. Great Yogis
overcoming this limitation march ahead in life. By uplifting themselves from
the above childhood state enter the portals of spiritual youth. Yogis go
beyond the lowly state of fleeting sense titillation and hence they are said to
be liberated while yet alive.
The life of true Yogis oozes with sacred high stature ideals or we can say that
that those whose life drips forth with ideals and principles are true Yogis.
Those that do not get inspired by lowly desires and selfish yearnings, those
that have stopped giving importance to lowly desires and by standing on the
balance of sacred ideals and principles execute life's activities are true Yogis.
This is the foundation of Yoga. Further means, practice are gross and of
different types. Their mode of working is different. Despite these differences
the root precept of all spiritual practices is one only.
Sahaj Yoga is one amongst many Yoga based practices. Its specialty is that
apart from leading normal mundane lifestyle their spiritual practices too
continue side by side. This can also be said in this way that akin to daily
living, worldly actions also become spirituality oriented. A Sahaj Yogi
executes tasks with the viewpoint of righteous duty, Yajna, religion and
God's divine commands. While eating food his attitude inculcates the idea
that in order to render competent the human body whose substratum
Almighty God food is eaten by him. While choosing what to eat the goal is to
render the body healthy and just does not pay attention to the tongue's
demand of tasty foods that titillate our taste buds. While nurturing his
family he focuses on watering and inducing growth of his family looking
upon it as a divinely beautiful garden of Almighty God. He does not look
upon his family as wealth but merely feels life's earnings as a boon of God in
order to fulfill family requirements. Wealth for him is a sacred means to look
after his family. In order to become rich he has no desire to do so by using
fair or foul means. Before doing any task like conversing, walking, talking,
eating, drinking, sleeping, waking up, earning money, love, hatred etc giving
predominance to spirituality, righteousness etc all his activities even if they
are ordinary become Yajna in form.
When in every task has the attitude of righteous duty then in it Punya or
meritorious deeds shall remain predominant. Via tasks done with a sacred
brain and goodwill towards all, not only this person but others also attain joy
and peace. Such great tasks give salvation or Mukti and never lead to
bondage. Along with sacredness, good will and a sense of selfless service on
managing one's life that ethics and mode of working is mastered by him.
Whatever is diligently practiced becomes dear to us and one gets joy in doing
so. Addiction materials that have a bad taste, is very expensive, directly
harmful as also alcohol, wine, tobacco and drugs is liked by us in a few days
itself. And despite facing a lot of hardships one cannot give up these vile
addictions. When such Tamasik materials due to imbibing for certain period
of time become so dear there is no reason why Sattvik materials become
much more beloved than them.
Saint Kabir has described the above Samadhi or trance in the above verse.
He says:
People walking on the path of spirituality with a desire to attain eternal bliss
of Samadhi via very minor efforts must render their life's viewpoint based on
high stature goals. They must design their daily routine on the basis of a
principled standpoint. By going higher up from sense merriment they must
get reinstated in faith in Yoga practices. Anyone progressing in this direction
to any extent, they shall get the nectarine taste of Samadhi or trance in
accordance with the progress made.
CHAPTER 19
That which is supremely great devotion to God that itself is called brain
oriented. Via it the atom like microcosm too becomes macrocosm.
The term Yaha of Super Mantra Gayatri points at that supremely great
devotion or Bhakti that is said to be worth meditating upon using the
intellect too. The greatness of devotion is limitless. For true devotion to
Almighty God nothing is unattainable. The ultimate goal of human life is
attaining Almighty God and the method to do so is devotion or Bhakti. Hence
in the womb of Super Mantra Gayatri in Yogas embedded in it Yoga of
Devotion too has its place.
The meaning of Bhakti is pure love. Loving Almighty God is true devotion.
Eulogizing Almighty God is the chief part of Bhakti or devotion. By
eulogizing thus the devotional principle is imbibed. This much is known by so
many people but this wisdom is known by very few, that what is the real
essence of Bhakti or devotion and singing eulogies. Come! Let us delve on the
question as to what is the true gist of Bhakti or devotion and singing eulogies.
Almighty God is all pervasive. No doubt many people know this fact but do
not actually imbibe it. They do not actually practice it in day to day living.
Those who actually accept that Almighty God is all pervasive and residing in
every nook and corner of the cosmos, that very moment their life will become
complete, sacred, sinless and without any taint of any sort. In the Bhagwad
Geeta Almighty God Shri Krishna says that those that seek shelter from him,
those who devote to him ceaselessly and one pointed immediately wards off
all sins. Doubtlessly this is a fact. In a certain sense those who seek Almighty
God's shelter, executes true devotion to him and gets reinstated in that
omnipresent state is a Jivan Mukta or one liberated while yet living.
Devotion to Almighty God and a true life are 2 names for one thing. He who
is a true devotee of God, who after giving up everything has surrendered his
all at the hallowed feet of Almighty God, he worships and meditates on
Almighty God definitely he inculcates deep faith in the cosmic presence of
him. If this faith becomes steadfast that Almighty God is in every pore of the
cosmos and that he is present just about everywhere then he shall never dare
to sin. Say is there any robber who on seeing the police with weapons in front
of him dares to rob anything. For robbery, extramarital affair, thug,
unruliness, wickedness, hypocrisy, falsehood, violence etc a veil or curtain to
hide it is required. Where there is a chance, none is there to catch such
people executing vile activities and only there they can carry out tainted
tasks. When the strong strength of men that understand, see and catch fraud
very well there it is not possible to execute vile sinful tasks. Similarly those
that have true faith in this precept that Almighty God is present everywhere
he shall dare not carry out in vile hateful tasks.
A person doing vile actions first sees minutely as to whether there is anyone
that is seeing him or about to catch him. When he is very sure that none can
see his sinful acts and catch him only then he sins. Hence only those that feel
that God cannot see them or catch them carry out sinful actions. The true
meaning of executing sinful acts is that these people like hypocrites believe
God exists but in reality deep down they deny that Almighty God does not
exist. His mind harbors no faith that God is present here. Lest he did harbor
true faith how would he have guts to break the laws laid down by the biggest
divine Almighty God? A person who shivers a lot on seeing a peon of a police
officer he cannot dare not act tainted especially when Almighty God the
divine police officer of the highest cadre is right in front of him. He cannot
break Almighty God's laws, rendering him wrathful or insulting God. Such
daring can only be shown by he who feels all talk about Almighty God's
existence is mere hearsay and a lip service. Maybe he lives in books, letters,
in hermitages, temples, rivers etc or maybe even in heaven-hell but he is not
present everywhere. Such a person thinks that he is not seen or can be caught
by Almighty God.
Those who do not accept the all pervasive nature of Almighty God are
atheists. Those who carry out vile acts either openly or in a hidden manner
are to be called atheists. Amongst these atheists quite a few do not even
worship-meditate on God and some do only a little bit of it. Those that do not
do it they think as to what benefits are accrued by following this problematic
devotion? Those that do worship-meditate on God from within are like those
that do not worship-meditate on God. Instead like a business brain in the
form of minting money they superficially carry out worship-meditation on
God. There are so many that in the name of God earn money daily. In our
country India there are such 5.6 million people that earn and carry out
business in the guise of being devotees of Almighty God. Lest they show that
they do not believe in God their income without much hard work that gives
pomp, sense merriment etc shall not be attained by them. Hence they have to
wear the garb of devotion to Almighty God just as we wear a shawl to ward
of bitter cold of winter. As soon as their requirements are fulfilled they
remove the shawl and fling it in some corner. These fraudulent people build
a huge umbrella of God devotion in front of the lay public because the bigger
it is the more is the cash earned. The moment the goal is achieved they come
up with their true form and inner nature. They are shameless while sinning
thus in solitude.
There is a 3rd type of atheist who does not earn wealth in the name of God in
a visible manner. Instead in the name of God they use up a lot of wealth. Day
in and day out they do this as though they firmly believe in God. They wear
symbols of devotion to Almighty God externally on their body. In their home
symbols of God are kept. Programs are made regularly viz. rites and rituals
to 'worship' God. These so called devotees of God are welcomed, offered
worship and gifts. All this happens so that others think well about them,
respect and honor them, believe them to be religious leaders, they do not get
exposed by others regarding these veiled vile intentions of theirs and even
today others do not open their mouth regarding tainted acts of theirs. They
want people to hide all their wrongdoings.
There is a 4th type of atheist. In order to hide his sins and not to earn wealth
but to get honored and worshiped by others, in order to attain fame and faith
in him he becomes a devotee of God. For this they renounce a bit and face a
bit of hardship too. But within they have no faith in the cosmic all pervasive
nature of Almighty God. Some worship God as a type of bribing him. They
are led to that path due to desire for certain materials akin to today bribers
giving a big amount of cash to a person make them act as per their whims
and fancies. Thus by donating a bagful they fill up many such bags for
themselves. Certain people living in an imaginary world of so called Ridhi-
Sidhis and other unseen grandeur try to attain them by knocking the doors
of God's divine abode.
To the extent a person has devotion to Almighty God he shall to that extent
manifest firm faith in the all pervasive nature of God. He shall see God in
everyone in the cosmos. As soon as theism manifests man becomes pious both
within and without. By seating his beloved God in everyone he shall behave
with them with humility, sweetness, love, respect, selfless service,
straightforwardness, purity and without any wily cunningness. A devotee for
Almighty God via religious vows, fasting, austerities, pilgrimages etc endures
hardships and offers to his beloved God sacred food, rice, flowers, incense,
flame lamp etc. The true precept of method of worship is that the devotee
himself enduring difficulties keeps offering something to Almighty God. A
devotee firmly believing that God is just about everywhere puts into practice
in his day to day life by doing worship based on the above precept. They do
not pay any heed to their own needs. Even if any difficulty has to be endured
he shall do exactly that. This is because they are hell bent on making human
gods happy and peaceful. With the vow of selfless service to the world he
worships God in everything in the world. The social transactions of such
people ooze with purity, sanctity, sweet and generous hearted.
All rites rituals are there in worship of Almighty God so that man
remembers God, sees his divine existence all around him and performs
actions like a true great human being. The aim of worship, honor,
prostrations, religious discourses, hymns, religious vows, fasting, pilgrimages
etc is to awaken man's consciousness so that he remembers how close
Almighty God is to him. Via love and faith in God resolves to serve everyone
in the world and by fearing Almighty God's anger he stays far away from
sinning. If any worship or meditation method does not fulfill this goal it shall
all be in vain. If in any method is embedded the attitude of saving oneself
from sinning and instead acts meritoriously that method is nothing but true
devotion to Almighty God.
CHAPTER 20
DEVOTION AND EULOGIZING ALMIGHTY GOD
This verse says that the meaning of Bhaj prefix is selfless service hence wise
people have said that Seva or selfless service is a spiritual practice of Bhakti
or devotion.
The word Bhajan is created from Bhaj prefix whose clear cut meaning is
selfless service. 'One must worship Almighty God'-those scriptures that have
taught people this Super Mantra did so, so that people got immersed in
selfless service. Bhajan is that method wherein human beings get immersed
in selfless service to Almighty God. This Bhajan has many paths. Teachers of
spirituality keep in mind the differences regarding place, time and inner
nature made many programs of Bhajan and showcased them too. In the
annals of world history whoever became immortal Vibhootis, great souls,
saints, Sidhas, liberated while alive, Rishi and Avatars have all done Bhajan.
But their mode of doing so was not the same. As per place, time and
situations faced they have to be categorized. Despite these differences at the
root no difference was allowed to enter its primordial tenet.
The apt place of the service of these chosen workers is in those activities that
are determined for them. Servers like cook, janitor, one who fans,
laundryman, gatekeeper, barber etc also live in the King's palace and they
too carry out tasks given to them. But from amongst these small time
workers none thinks that the King's supreme most grace is on them. This fact
too is correct. Royal ministers, finance minister, army chief, managers, chief
justice etc high stature authorities that complete the King's desired goal in a
well managed manner attain much more respect, honor salary and soul
union. Poor workers like cook, toilet cleaner etc cannot attain all this even in
their dreams.
Lest all workers of the kingdom by showcasing a dislike for jobs given to
them rush to become the King's cook, janitor, one who fans, laundryman,
gatekeeper, barber etc the King shall not be pleased at all and not feel
comfortable too. Shall the King become pleased that thousands of cooks have
cooked a massive meal and kept it on a huge table? Although all workers
harbor deep love for the King and out of this love they rushed to do
individual bodily service to him but such love devoid of discrimination can
pose dangerous like hatred towards anybody. No wise King shall have a
liking for a working process that encompasses less work done for required
tasks and much more work done for non required tasks.
Almighty God is the supreme King amongst all other kings. We all are his
royal workers and each one has been given an appointed task to execute.
While adhering to one's duties in an apt manner we fulfill Almighty God's
wish and commands. In this manner while doing true service naturally we
become a beloved of his. Kings do require personal service but Almighty God
does not require at all service from cooks, janitor, one who fans,
laundryman, gatekeeper, barber etc God is all pervasive and cosmic, without
desires and mental distortions and under such conditions he has no use at all
of food, clothes, fan, light etc
Hence in religious books one finds a story that a messenger of God appeared
before an Islamic preaching saint. In his hand there was a big book.
He replied: In this book the names of all names of devotees of the world are
written.
The Messenger said: In it there are names of such people whom Almighty
God himself serves.
The preacher was wonderstruck finding that there exist such people whom
the Lord himself has to worship. The book was read and right on top was
written the name of the preacher.
With the wish to please Almighty God those that worship him should
understand the true nature of devotion. Devotion is synonymous with selfless
service. Service to Almighty God dwells in serving his walking-talking
images. His garden viz. this world must be rendered beautiful-happy-
peaceful by making due efforts. Our righteous duty and our responsibility
must be carried out like a true honest human being. Almighty God's wish
and command involves destruction of unrighteousness and reinstating
righteousness. One's devotion is true only if one acts in accordance to the fact
that Almighty God is present in us outside us and just about everywhere in
the cosmos. Only those can be called true devotees and true lovers of
devotion if from the standpoint of world well being rendering one's own life
super great by making zealous efforts. Thus the true aim of Yoga of Devotion
is to devote to Almighty God and execute such worship as mentioned above.
CHAPTER 21
YOGA OF WISDOM OR JNANA YOGA
Definitely the term Dhiya says this only that Yoga of Wisdom renders the
brain knowledgeable.
Dhiya connotes Yoga of Wisdom. By itself the word brain is used for
information, shrewdness and other intellect based capabilities but in the
spiritual realm for knowledge, wisdom, divine intellect or Ritambhara the
word brain is used. It is this that is called Yoga of Wisdom or Jnana Yoga. In
the Bhagwad Geeta scripture it is called Buddhi Yoga and Jnana Yoga.
It is only when the aim manifests in our mind that we get inspired to go
towards the goal. Memory is of 2 types: One is fleeting memory which
sometimes we remember and sometimes we do not do so and the second type
of memory is that which does not get wiped away and ceaselessly remains in
our mind.
Before taking the human garb it has a subtle form. From the causal
standpoint he is the soul, full of divine consciousness and is Existence-
Consciousness-Bliss in nature. The more this consciousness becomes denser
his memory turning away from the soul latches on to the gross principle.
Gross is infinite and hence the viewpoint also becomes infinite. Latching on
to any one thing is not possible till inspiration is got to latch on to anything
one in man's inner nature. For inspiration there is a need of the wisdom of
the goal to be attained.
The very first light of conscious energy falls on the intellect. After this it goes
to the mind and then the more it climbs downwards the more its grossness
increases and the energy of inert matter claims its right on it.
Aitairvimohayatyesha jnanamavrityadehinam.
When forgetfulness or when spiritual ignorance creates its huge kingdom the
emotion of sense enjoyment becomes more intensified. And in front of this
intense sense titillation dwells the gross world. Hence for its satiation he
stares un-winking at the gross. Forgetting the subtle due to knocking at the
doors of the gross it cannot become steady at one single place. This is because
the world is not singular in nature. Since it is constantly changing it is
multifaceted. Since its direction and its sense enjoyment latches on to this
multifaceted nature there is no steadiness in it. Hence same sightedness slips
away from it.
Equanimity and disparity's state is dependent on the brain. That brain which
is incapable of imbibing knowledge or conscious energy since on becoming
multifaceted cannot reinstate equanimity. In order to reinstate equanimity
the brain has to be made capable which means it needs to be rendered active.
Regarding these 2 categories of the brain the following has been said:
Bhogaishwaryaprasaktanam tayapahritchetasam.
Hence he commands:
When the intellect is conjoined to wisdom and soul nature one gets liberation
from bondage to actions. This means that we get liberation from these
multifaceted thought waves.
It has adhered to gross material sense pleasures and other various desires,
attachment etc and hence:
Inert and conscious have been tied like a knot. It means conscious energy is
unable to get reinstated in inert matter. A wall has been built between them
or it has been covered like a veil. Soul wisdom is not imbibed by the mind,
brain and sense organs. Due to inertness a dense darkness fills up the center.
Jiva hridaya tam moha visheshi.
In the heart all around the living being a dense darkness of spiritual
ignorance pertaining to deluded attachment. Hence in order to ward off this
darkness there is a requirement of lighting the flame of wisdom.
Japa tapa vrata jam niyam apara. Jey shruti kaha subh dharma achara.
Teyi trin harit charai jab gayi. Bhava baccha sisu paya penhayi.
Param dharma maya paya duhi bhai. Amvatai anal akal banayi.
Lest anyone is the destiny creator of the flame of divine wisdom of Gosainji it
is only the intellect. According to him via Japa, penance, Vrata, Yam, Niyam
Achar etc we must increase sacred faith in our heart and a firm attitude of
attaining conscious energy must be created. By withdrawing our thoughts
from sense objects rendering the psyche pure along with trust selflessly
taking help of contentment, forgiveness and power of endurance very gladly
imbibing sense control and truth in our life to create dispassion. By
surrendering all our good-bad actions at the sacrosanct feet of Almighty God
awaken the intellect so that dirt represented by deluded mental attachment
burns to naught. In this manner by conjoining divine wisdom to the brain
remaining uniform in the past, future, present, childhood, youth and old age
keeping the psyche equanimous on rendering awakened the sentiments of
parity one gets an experience of unity and thus the illusion of differences, the
goal of separate entities shall get warded off. At that time from the path of
the intellect conscious power of divine wisdom shall flow ceaselessly. It shall
go down from the intellect to the mind and sense organs and shall render this
inert body divine in nature.
There is only one cause of divinity and inertness and that is equanimity and
disparity. In order to render the brain ceaselessly uniform in Indian
tradition right from childhood itself the teaching of Buddhi (intellect) Yoga is
given. At the age of 5 years when he is liberated from spiritual ignorance in
the form of affection, deluded mental attachment, sexual lust etc he is made
to wear the Gayatri Kavach or armor. This Gayatri Kavach is nothing other
than the Yoga of the Intellect. It is at this very age that Savita God a symbol
of conscious energy of the external world and spiritual practice-devotion in
the internal world are commenced. Along with faith and trust that supreme
conscious energy is brought down via the intellectual path and in order to
make oneself a devotee of Almighty God with a zealous mind he does Japa or
Mantra chanting. Ceaseless remembrance itself is Japa or Mantra chanting.
In this Japa or Mantra chanting there are not only words. It is not merely
verbal. This Japa or Mantra chanting is based on sacred sentiments. All
minds and Prana Energy of humans call aloud. They meditate on that god
worth surrendering to that is a symbol, divine light and divine aura of
divinity. In this devotion only one wish is harbored and that is "Dhiyo yonah
naha prachodayat". Please inspire our brain. Why is inspiration required?
In order to imbibe with equanimity that manifested conscious energy and by
helping it flow in the mind and sense organs so as to render the place of
residence of conscious energy divine. After attaining this divinity man gets
reinstated in it. Where there is complete peace, complete joy and lack of any
sort is never seen.
Meditation-worship of Super Energy Gayatri is that of this Yoga of Intellect.
This verily is Yoga of Wisdom and for world humanity it is the one and only
path heading towards supreme peace.
CHAPTER 22
YOGA OF LAYA OR MERGING
That person who immerses himself in it that person getting liberated from
material bondage attains Yoga of Laya.
The Swaha term of Super Mantra Gayatri is meant for Yoga of Laya. Laya
means merging mixing with something or getting immersed. The aim of Yoga
of Laya involves the living soul merging into Almighty God and immersing I
him. In the state of liberation or Samadhi/trance the individual soul is
forgotten, duality is got rid of and one attains the bliss of oneness of Sayujya
Mukti.
The 4 fold entities of mind, intellect, psyche and ego although are illumined
by the light of the soul by taking its energy it becomes mobile yet it appears
as a separate entity. The reflection of the sun seen in water is because of the
sun only even so the existence of the reflection appears as a separate
existence. In this way the 4 fold entities of mind, intellect, psyche and ego
makes its separate existence and is called Jiva or living being. Majority of
humans believe themselves to be Jiva or living being only and its desire,
aspiration and liking believe it to be its own desire. Thus it remains busy in
fulfilling it. In this manner one kingdom has 2 kings or in one scimitar 2
swords are present. Just as in a human being a disease or ghost rushes into
the body it spreads out varied types of mismanagement, creates obstructions,
similarly in the temple of the soul when it creates an artificial existence of its
own then I this temple mismanagement definitely rules the roost so to speak.
Today amongst all of us the life of majority is becoming mismanaged.
The sacred portion of Almighty God viz. the soul imbibes a body so that in
Almighty God's divine garden sporting blissfully, drinks the immortal nectar
of love and in this meritorious land which is sweeter than heaven all around
man sports in the blissful waterfalls spread out everywhere. By rendering his
supreme existence gross from the subtle and laughs on seeing its lovable
nature. For oneself and others manifests satisfying zest of peace and joy. But
we can see that majority of human beings are walking bang opposite this
goal. At every step he experiences sadness, poverty and harassments. His
mental arena is getting dirty due to sorrow, sadness, worry, separation,
suspicion, jealousy, yearning, hatred, selfish desires, despair, cowardice,
restlessness, avarice etc. He prefers hoarding materials, nourishing his little
ego 'I' and enjoying sense titillating objects. For all these 3 he misuses all
these energies but yet he does not attain anything and remains discontented.
In fact he faces more and more of lack of peace. To the extent these things
are imbibed more than its measure he faces heart burns.
In those people in whom at least a little soul consciousness exists they think
about their state. They feel they have no contentment both within and
without. The cause of this restlessness is the predominance of this state of
living being. The living being thinks it is this limited human body and in
order to amass the joys and benefits of the body he makes untold efforts. It
does not matter that the aim of the soul is getting destroyed right from its
roots. As long as this is the state of Jivabhava or living being is strong there is
no solution for getting liberated from the 3 fold cycle of desires, sins and
sorrow. It can get liberated only when he forgets his state of Jivabhava or
living being and instead gets awakened in his soul state.
The method of merging the state of Jivabhava or living being into the soul
state, rendering Dwait as Advait or non duality and converting bondage into
spiritual liberation is to merge one's limited ego 'I' into the all pervasive
Almighty God. This state is called self sacrifice, self donation, self attainment,
self vision, self well being, self realization etc (self means soul). As a result
our limited ego 'I' becomes unlimited. We can then visualize our soul in
everybody and all animate and inanimate objects in our soul. At that time the
desires of everyone becomes our very own. The name of this non dual state is
limited self forgetfulness or the state of Laya or merging. For its spiritual
practice soul visionaries have reinstated Laya Yoga or Yoga of Merging.
Below we are listing 5 practices of Laya Yoga or Yoga of Merging. Via these
one masters sound, form, taste, smell and touch's Tanmatras the soul now
controls the gross and subtle bodies made up of 5 elements. At that time on
his own, he attains the state of divine bliss that should happen in the
direction of soul awakening. I have given these 5 spiritual practices in my
book called "Pratyakshafaldayini Sadhanayain".
Naad Yoga is called Shabda Sadhana. It actually comes within the realm of
self forgetting of Laya Yoga or Yoga of Merging. But since it is bigger and
very widespread hence in an independent manner it is called Naad Yoga. In
later pages of this book it shall be dealt with in a separate manner.
ROOPA SADHANA:
Keeping the Merudand or spine straight, rendering the psyche balanced sit
in lotus or semi lotus posture. The above mentioned black ball must be hung
on the wall at a distance of 3 feet from your eyes and must be in line with it.
Now focus your vision on the white ball in the middle of the black one. There
is no problem if you wink a bit but your eyes should not deviate from the
white point. The eyes should not be opened fully and the winking should not
be stopped forcefully. The vision should not be very light and a lot of
strength should not be used. This spiritual practice must be done in a middle
state. This spiritual practice must be done only by people that have healthy
eyes. Those that have an eye based medical problem must never do Tratak.
In a short while after focusing your eye sight on the black ball the center
white point shall be seen as though it is moving, increasing, decreasing,
shivering and changing colors. Despite all this happening, you must not move
your eyesight away from the center. After a few days of practice the white
point shall be seen steady. This is a sign of reaching a mature state in your
spiritual practice. Starting this practice initially for 2 minutes daily increase
it by 1 minute. If your eyes get filled with water immediately stop your
Tratak practice.
This spiritual practice can also be done on the top of a flame lamp using
Ghee or clarified butter, on the front part of a stone image or Shivalinga or
on the feet, nails or any other part of your icon deity.
For this after closing your eyes sit for spiritual practice. A straight line must
be drawn between the holes of the ears and from the middle of the eyebrow
to the back of the head another line must be drawn. Where both these lines
meet is the region of Trikuti, Brahmarandhra or Sahasradal Kamal or 1000
petal lotus. After focusing on this place with a calm cool psyche, a smallish
point of light can be witnessed. After a few days in place of one so many red,
yellow, black and other colored of varied shapes can be seen in the brain
flying all around. After long term daily practicing it these scattered varied
shape points start merging in the original point. Finally what remains behind
is a white divine light and on visualizing it in the internal region one
experiences a huge shower of blissful peace.
CHAPTER 23
YOGA BASED SPIRITUAL PRACTICE OF TASTE
BUDS
For this spiritual practice, use a fruit that you find most tasty. For example if
you find mangoes tasty cut them into 5 small parts. Place 1 piece on the front
area of the tongue for 1 minute and experience its taste. Then throw away
this piece and without meditating on the previous taste the taste of mangoes
shall remain on the tongue. In 2 minutes this experience shall wither away.
Then place another piece on the tongue and like previously after throwing it
away experience the taste of the mango. In this manner by doing this 5 times
it shall totally take about 15 minutes.
Slowly decrease the time limit of placing anything on the tongue and there
should be an increase of experiencing taste without placing anything on the
tongue. After sometime without placing anything on the g anything on the
tongue only with thought one can taste a desired thing for an apt time period.
After this Tratak take a fragrant and beautiful flower. After taking it near
the nostrils for 1 minute slowly smell it and remember its fragrance properly.
After this throw away the flower and without the flower remember that
fragrance for 2 minutes. After this taking another flower repeat what you did
previously. 5 flowers for 15 minutes must be used. You must keep in mind
that at least for 1 week only one flower must be used. Similarly in this taste
buds spiritual practice 1 fruit for 1 week must be made use of.
1) After placing ice or any other cold substance on the body for 1
minute remove it and for 2 minutes experience that very coolness is
being availed. After touching the body with a stone heated to the
extent one can endure it, develop a thought that it shall be
experienced always. After touching the skin with a hand fan, smooth
glass or a ball of cotton meditating on its touch too is this type of
practice. Rubbing with a brush, picking up a ball of iron etc type of
practices must be meditated upon as mentioned above.
2) After placing a very soft mattress on a ground that is even lie down
flat on it. For sometime experience its touch based softness and
delicate nature. After this, lie down on the ground without the soft
mattress. While lying down on the bare ground try and mentally
experience the softness of the mattress experienced previously. Again
come back on the mattress and experience the hard ground. One's
power of endurance increases by imagining various types of
environment in various situations. On attaining success in touch based
spiritual practice one attains the capacity to endure bodily hardships
in a smiling manner.
It is not as though one perforce has to execute the 5 spiritual practices at one
shot. Those who have less time for Sadhana or spiritual practice must chose 1
or 2 of these 5 Sadhana or spiritual practices I accordance with one's interest
and comfort. On attaining success in it, other Sadhana or spiritual practices
can be executed.
Via these Sadhana or spiritual practices we can control and master the mind,
thought waves decrease and one can control thoughts. All Sadhana or
spiritual practices of Yoga have this as its goal. Success in attaining
concentration or focus of mind and soul victory is the biggest success of
human life. On its basis man as per his wish can become whatever he wishes
to become. He can do whatever he wants. Via the subtle energy of sense
organs many types of Sidhis or success can be accrued. Not only on the basis
of subtle sense organs but that on the basis of one's wish, it experiences all
joys of the world. Materialist people run about here and there after mirage
like sense pleasures. But all these are effortlessly attained by adept Yogis. Via
Sankalpa Shakti or will power all these sense pleasures come and stand
before them.
CHAPTER 24
NAAD YOGA OR YOGA OF DIVINE SOUND
That whose soul is Prabha, that taintless house of world image in the
beautiful city of God that which is Naad that gives bliss to the ears by
hearing these sounds that supreme bliss is attained, the attainment for
humans by great scholars is called Naad Yoga or Yoga of Divine Sound.
In the term Naha an indication of Naad Yoga or Yoga of Divine Sound exists.
Sound is called Almighty God because the task of tying God and living beings
in one chain is done by sound only. The commencement of world creation too
is via sound. Amongst the 5 elements the 1st one created was space and its
Tanmatra is sound. Akin to all other materials sound too is of 2 types. One is
gross and the other is subtle. Subtle sound is called thoughts and gross sound
is meditation.
From Brahmaloka or divine world, divine sound flows ceaselessly for us.
Almighty God wishes to converse with us but very few amongst all of us
desire to hear him. Ceaselessly Almighty God inspires with such a thought
flow which is extremely good for our well being. Lest it is heard and
understood properly and as per it a path is designed then doubtlessly one can
march ahead speedily towards the desired goal. This thought flow bangs
against our soul. Our psyche is a radio and if we face in its direction, render
our thoughts introverted, we hear divine thought waves gushing forth from
the soul, we can directly hear Almighty God's speech. It is this that is called a
celestial voice. What should we do and what should not be done? What is apt
and what is inapt for us? Its direct message is attained from Almighty God.
This type of thought flow is called variedly like call of the psyche, divine
command from the soul, Almighty God's message, celestial voice, divine
wisdom etc. Those that clean the machine called soul so as to attain success in
hearing this divine hint they are called soul seers or one that has surrendered
his entire being at the sacrosanct feet of Almighty God. For them Almighty
God is very near them, they hear him talk and tell him what they wish to say.
For this divine union there is no need of using ears or eyes made of flesh,
bones etc. The psyche seated in close proximity to the soul with the help of its
divine sense organs fulfills this task with ease. This very subtle divine sound
and divine thought is heard hazily as long as dirt and distortions cloud the
soul. The more inner sanctity increases to that extent this divine message is
heard clearly. Initially the wisdom of duty is felt indications of sins-merits
appear. While executing vile tasks in the inner personality dwell fear, hatred,
shame, shyness etc and while doing great tasks self contentment, happiness,
zest etc are present. Further ahead this divine message manifests all
incidences of past, present and future. For what reason what future is being
designed and in future what incidences shall have to be faced? All this is
perceived and on reaching a higher stature all mysteries of the cosmos get
unfolded. There is nothing that is hidden from him but as soon as he attains
this big knowledge he becomes very cautious about using it. If this wisdom
gets in the hands of immature people they shall destroy it by setting up a
game of miracles. But those that are mature disallow even the fact that they
possess this power and instead use it only for soul uplifting of others in
society.
The other form of divine sound that in comparison to thought message is bit
gross and it is Naad. In Yoga of Prana Energy it has already been said that in
the deep cave of nature every moment a sound emerges. Via its inspiration
through banging mobility commences in atoms and thus cosmic activities go
on. The initial sound is Om. The more this Om sound passes by in the realm
of other elements that type of difference in sound comes and goes. When in
the holes of a flute a sound emerges from it but in the holes ahead of it if in a
particular hole depending on the air coming out based on it varied musical
tones emerge. In the same way Om sound too coming in contact with various
elements gets converted to varied types of sound tones. Hearing these sound
tones is Naad Yoga or Yoga of Divine Sound.
While catching the musical waves of Naad a devotee catching the rope of Om
reaches that fount of divinity which is the desired place of the soul. Attaining
Brahmaloka is synonymous with salvation, Nirvana, supreme abode etc on
the basis of Naad while merging the mind a devotee reaches the final step of
the ladder of Yoga practices and attains the esired goal. How should the
practice of Naad be carried out? Let us throw some light on it:
For practicing it, choose such a place that has solitude and where not much
of outside sound is heard. Very strong light is an obstacle in this practice.
Hence try and find a dark room. At around 3 am in the morning till dawn is
very suitable for this practice. Lest such time arrangements cannot be made
choose times like morning 6 am and after day ends. Regularly on a daily
basis at the demarcated hour this practice should be done. In the room
chosen place an Asan or seat or place an arm chair to sit on it. Lest you sit on
an Asan to sit on place behind your back place a bag of cloth there. If this too
is not possible place you Asan in a corner. Sit in such a way that the body
gets rest and try and loosen and relax your body. Develop the thought that
my body merely is a pile of cotton and at this hour I am leaving it totally free.
In a short while the entire body shall become loose and instead of enduring
your weight it shall roll about here and there. By taking the help of the arm
chair, wall etc the body will remain put at its place. By making two balls of
very clean cotton place it in your ears in such a way that no sound from
outside enters the ears. You may also try put fingers in both the ears to stop
sound from entering. Now no outside sound shall be heard by you. Even if it
is heard removing your focus on it, take it to the scalp and there the sounds
heard make efforts to hear them by focusing it on them. Initially maybe you
shall not hear anything but after efforts are made for 2-4 days the more the
subtle ears become sanctified the clarity of sound shall increase. At first
many types of sound are heard. The sound emitted by blood flow in the body
is heard as though the train is moving on the railway tracks. The sound of air
coming and going is heard akin to clouds thundering. The sound of juices
being cooked and marching ahead is akin to biting sound. These 3 types of
sound are produced via bodily activities. Similarly there are 2 sounds of
mental functioning. The wave of restlessness emerging from the mind they on
banging into mental nerves makes such a sound as though on a tin box rain is
showering. When the brain on imbibing external knowledge reinstates it in
itself it appears as though some creature is breathing. All these 5 sounds are
of the body and mind. After just a few days of practice ordinarily with efforts
of 2-3 weeks all these sounds shall be heard quite clearly. By hearing these
sounds the subtle sense organs get purified and its capacity to imbibe hidden
energies increases a fair bit.
Apart from Naad for subtle Sadhana or spiritual practice of thought flow
practice of Rikta Mind is done. Teachers of Yoga call it subtle sound or
Naad.
With a quiet mind sit in the lotus posture called Padmasan. Keep your spine
straight and unbent. Close your eyes. Think that all around you is the rule of
infinite peace. All around you there is nothing apart from blue skies.
Now focus your vision between the eyebrows. After driving one nail in one
ear remove it from the other ear. Take another nail and hammer it in
between the eyebrows so that it comes out from the back side of the scalp.
Now where both lines meet is called Trikuti. Let a thought come in your
mind. Keep developing the thought that there is only peace, void peace, peace
and deep profundity. If thoughts that try to break this sacred feeling emerge
you must obstruct them and again and again make effort to bring back peace
in the mind.
In the human body dwell 6 Yogic Chakras and psychic complexes in a hidden
manner. These 6 Yogic Chakras and psychic complexes called Granthis
bestow terrific inspiration in man's pure heart. By awakening these6 Yogic
Chakras and psychic complexes called Granthis man immersed in Sadhana
or spiritual practice subtly perceives Super Power Kundalini and this is
called Granthi Yoga or Yoga of Psychic Complexes.
The weaving of alphabets of Super Mantra Gayatri is such via which all
secret psychic complexes become awakened.
In the psyche of humans from the alphabets of Gayatri manifest subtle Bhuta
24 energies.
In man's body there are many subtle psychic complexes called Granthis. In
Kundalini Yoga the description of 6 chief subtle psychic complexes called
Granthis and 6 chief Yogic Chakras or subtle complexes has already been
given. Apart from these there are many other important psychic complexes
which on awakening such energies are attained that are very useful for
advancement of life.
The last part of Super Mantra Gayatri i.e. Prachodayat is meant for
inspiring these subtle psychic complexes called Granthis. It is clear that each
alphabet has some place of origin and by uttering it a special pressure is
noted on an inner portion. Those who have read Sanskrit language's
grammar they know that which word is uttered from which part of the
mouth. A, Ka, Kha, Ga, Gha, Ha and Visargas are uttered from the throat.
Ee, Cha, Chha, Ja, Jha, Ya, Sha are uttered from the palate of the mouth. Ri,
Ta, Tha, Da, Dha, Ra, Sha are uttered from the Murdha. La, Ta, Tha, Da,
Dha, La, Sa are uttered from the teeth. Oo, Pa, Fa, Ba, Bha, Ma is uttered
from the lips. Ya, Ma, Ga, Nna, Na are uttered from the nose. A, Ai are
uttered from the throat-palate. O and Au are uttered from the throat and
lips and Va is uttered from teeth and lips. These are gross sounds of words
wherein they are uttered from various parts of the mouth.
The places from which dwells the root fount of these words are all different.
Within the human body the muscle network of various places and an onrush
of subtle nerves emerge at that time a previous form of that word gets
created that on entering the mouth it emerges from some special area of it.
VI TAT

Our body has 24 Granthis or psychic complexes. Its place, name, color, result
etc have been listed above. The 24 alphabets of Super Mantra Gayatri is of
this very type whose root fount lie on these 24 Granthis or psychic complexes.
When we chant Super Mantra Gayatri sequentially a banging takes place on
all these 24 Granthis or psychic complexes and they by slowly coming out of
their sleeping state and head towards awakening. When we play the
Harmonium musical instrument (like a piano), when our fingers press a key,
it gives out a particular musical tone. Similarly by chanting the 24 alphabets
these 24 Granthis or psychic complexes start vibrating. Along with this
vibration on its own a lightning of awakening starts running in them. As a
result of this slowly so many specialties start manifesting in the devotee and
he starts attaining both material and spiritual benefits.
Where are these energies? A direction regarding this is given above by giving
a photo of the body. The name, color, energy, demigod and quality have
already been detailed above. For example the 1st alphabet of Gayatri is Tat.
Its area is in between the 2 eyebrows. In this area there is a very subtle
Granthi or psychic complex whose hue is yellow like the Champa flower. The
energy that resides in it is called Tapini in Yogic parlance. This is the reign of
divinity of fire. The more this Granthi or psychic complex gets awakened
from its latent state the quality of success keeps augmenting. Similarly on the
basis of this photo of the body and color wheel the knowledge of all 24 letters
can be accrued.
CHAPTER 26
ATTAINING SIDHIS OR DIVINE POWERS VIA SOUL
AWAKENING
These 12 Yogas after handing over Sidhis of the entire life help a devotee to
attain it in this world.
If a devotee does even a little bit of practice of any one of these 12 types he
ceaselessly marches ahead on the path of peace.
In previous pages those 12 Yogas described a bit are so important that even if
a little Sadhana or spiritual practice is done it aids a lot in marching ahead
on the path of soul uplifting and well being. Lest a person steadfastly latches
on to any one of these 12 Yogas described and firmly executes it with
patience, faith, focus and regularly it is definite that soul awakening shall
take place. Along with this awakening those spiritual powers that were latent
in nature become awakened so that one attains maturity and nourishing
strength.
Under such circumstances it is natural that those successes are noted that are
well known as Ridhi-Sidhis or Super Divine Powers. For attaining these
Ridhi-Sidhis or Super Divine Powers there is a separate practice or path.
Those that think thus that only by doing a specific practice one shall access a
specific Ridhi-Sidhis or Super Divine Powers they are definitely erring. They
are not something separate but are a natural result of soul awakening. The
more the soul gets reinstated in its pristine pure form the more its divine
qualities shall manifestand these must be a portion of Almighty God.
When a burning coal is separated from a new engine slowly its upper region
on cooling becomes ash in form. When this pile of ash becomes quite big on
touching it from outside one cannot perceive heat in it. On touching it neither
the hands burn nor can one feel the quality of heat in it. When this ash is
removed that very burning fire emerges from inside. When it gets a new
engine it takes the form akin to a raging forest fire. When the soul does not
get sacred thoughts and fuel in the form of activities then like the burning
coal while cooling down appears like ash covering it. At that time it appears
as though man has no divine principle and is merely a puppet doll of
distortions in the psyche, downtrodden, poor etc. But when via Yoga
practices this ash of spiritual ignorance is removed its soul energy manifests.
At that time one comes to know the true nature of humans who are getting
kicked about here and there and are poverty stricken harassed people.
When a devotee awakens to his true identity of Existence-Consciousness-Bliss
its soul radiance becomes wonderfully illumined. On attaining fuel in the
form of Soul Sadhana or spiritual practice when this divine fire takes up a
terrific inferno kind of form its light, heat and adornment spreads to very far
off places. This is the true form of Ridhi-Sidhis or Super Divine Powers. In
awakened souls such type of many specialties can be perceived that are not
noted in laymen. These laymen feel rare and mind boggling. When something
is not there with everyone and only some rare person has it, it seems spell
binding. Although Ridhi-Sidhis or Super Divine Powers are a symbol of the
natural state of the soul even so it appears amazing because these special
qualities are not found in one and all.
The soul is a part of Almighty God. Those qualities, specialties and energy
that are present in Almighty God are present in the individual soul too. But
its manifestation does not take place because its soul radiance is covered by
Maya or spiritual ignorance and other mental taints. When this covering gets
unveiled man now no longer bound to Maya becomes a Yoga Sidha.
Attaining this success is a high stature spiritual grandeur. When one gets it
the soul gets decorated by divine wealth and via this grandeur the devotee
uses divine bliss.
Super Mantra Gayatri is a huge ocean. In its womb lie hidden innumerable
types of jewels. Forget trying to count them it cannot even be imagined. In
the womb lie knowledge based jewels in the form of matter, spirituality,
bodily ones, mental ones, social and religious ones. This is because via this
one Mantra only all 4 Vedas manifested. Vedas are a storehouse of all true
sciences and those sciences present in the Vedas are present in Super Mantra
Gayatri. In it there are even many Yoga based Sadhana or spiritual practices
but amongst these leading 12 of them are described in this ebook. With this
Yoga too Sadhana or spiritual practice can be done and each one is great.
Even if any one Sadhana or spiritual practice is done it gives desired results.
From the standpoint of differences of liking them and coduciveness of
situations their numbers add up to so much. From these one can choose a
Sess of situations their numbers add up to so much. From these one can
choose a Sadhana or spiritual practice as per liking it and desire based
benefits can be accrued. At one point in time Sadhana or spiritual practices
of Yoga can be done or do it one after another but before setting up your
schedule you must definitely take advice of someone tha is adept and a
master of Yoga. This is because which Yoga is beneficial for which devotee
can be gauged only by an experienced master who has successfully walked on
this spiritual path.
CHAPTER 27
SUPER ENERGY GAYATRI UPANISHAD
From Vedas have emerged Brahman texts. Each Veda had many Brahman
texts but today only a few of these are available. Time's vicious movement
saw to it that many of them became oblivious.
Yadasminbrahmacharyam vasateeti.
On seeing Maudgalya's Brahmachari and on hearing him Glav said
(mockingly) that what is Maudgalya teaching this Brahmachari? It means he
is not teaching anything.
Sa acharyayavrajya chachashte.
Today the one who has become a guest has called you a fool.
O Saumya! Bring to me his disciple who is a scholar, subtle seer and one
yearning to attain victory.
Maudgalya asked him: O Saumya! What does your teacher teach you?
Trinvedan bhrute bho iti.
O Saumya! Lest he does not know this he shall say that the teacher gives
teachings on that to his disciple it is Savitri. It means that he shall tell you
about the word meaning of Gayatri which is the gross meaning only.
Pura samvatsaradartimakrishyasiti.
At that time you must say that you had called our teacher Maudgalya a fool.
He had asked a few questions and you could not answer them. In 1 year itself
you shall have to face hardship.
O Saumya! I too have studied all the Vedas then why does your teacher call
me a fool? Is it right for one teacher to talk like this for another teacher?
Those questions that I shall ask him he shall be unable to answer them. He
must not even be teaching them.
Tanhappriccha sa ha na praipede.
The disciple said: You had called Maudgalya a fool. What he asked you, you
could not answer. Hence in 1 year you shall undergo hardships.
karishyamiti.
At that time Maitreya told his disciples: Now you all must return to your
homes as per your wish. I called Maitreya a fool but what he has asked I
have not been able to answer. I shall go to him and shall calm him down.
The very next day early in the morning taking wood fuel in his hands
Maudgalya came to Maitreya and said: O Maitreya! I have come here to
serve you.
Kimarthamiti:
Maitreya said: I had called you a fool. Whatever you asked me I could not
answer. Now I shall come and serve you and I shall appease you.
Sa hovacha-atra va upetam cha sarvam cha krutam papakena twa yanena
Maudgalya said: You have come here but people say that you have not come
here with pious sentiments. But I shall give you well being based sentiments
and after taking it go back to your home.
Maitreya said: What you say bestows fearlessness and kindness. I am here to
serve you and have wood in my hands to gift you.
Tam hopeyaya.
3) Lest you know this speak about the Tatwas of Dhi via which giving
inspiration to all Savita moves about everywhere.
Tasma etatprovacha.
He answered thus.
On hearing this he asked again, what is Savita? And what is Savita? And
what is Savitri?
Maitreya asked: In the first leg of Gayatri are words which I humbly wish to
learn from you.
a. What is the Varenya of Savita? It means that how is radiant Almighty God
chosen? Which is that method by which Almighty God can be attained?
b. What is the Bharga of that deity? Deva or divinity means supremely great
and Bharga is strength. What is the Bharga of that divinity? It means what is
the strength of the supremely great? What is this Dhi? Via which Almighty
God inspires everybody? It means what is that medium via which Almighty
God's grace showers on us? Thus Maudgalaya was asked these 3 principles
by Maitreya.
Maudgalya has given a short compact answer that is very pointing. The more
one reflects over the answer seriously the more its deep import gets unfolded.
Maudgalya says:
c. Actions are Dhi principles wherein via them Almighty God gives
inspiration to all. He advances everything.
c. The 3rd answer of Maudgalya is action itself is the Dhi principle. Via it
Almighty God helps everyone progress. It is a definite fact that via grace of
Almighty God everyone advances and he inspires everyone to climb higher
and higher in life. But this too needs to be understood that the form of that
inspiration is Dhi. Dhi means that intellect that gives inspiration and
encouragement to execute actions and thus helps engage devotees to work.
Anyone showered with grace of Almighty God attains such type of an
intellect. If we wish to know whether any person has attained the grace of
Almighty God then you must check whether he is executing actions with zest,
zeal, honest hard work, alertness and interest or not. Anyone with this type
of a personality definitely has been showered with Dhi principle by Almighty
God so as to render the devotee advanced both materially and spiritually.
There are so many people that are lethargic, unruly and wicked. Despair
surrounds them from all sides and they work half heartedly and with no
interest in it. Even small tasks appear mountainous to them. Even a little bit
of work tires them a lot. Know that such people are devoid of Dhi principle.
It is quite visible that they do not have grace of Almighty God and in the
absence of an intellect that inspires them to work they remain ill fated.
Yatra vai vak tanman iti ete dvai yoni ekam mithuman.
Mind is Savita, Vak is Savitri and wherever is the mind, there resides Vak
and where there is Vak there dwells the mind. Both are one species and
single conjugal bliss.
Fire is Savita and earth is Savitri. Wherever is fire, there resides earth and
wherever is earth there dwells fire. Both are one species and single conjugal
bliss.
Air is Savita and interstellar space is Savitri. Wherever there is air there
rests interstellar space and where there is interstellar space there resides air.
Both are one species and single conjugal bliss.
Sun is Savita and Dyau is Savitri. Wherever there is Savitri there resides
Dyau and wherever there is Dyau there dwells the sun. Both are one species
and single conjugal bliss.
Moon is Savita. Nakshatra is Savitri. Wherever dwells the moon there rests
Nakshatra and where there is Nakshatra there resides the moon. Both are
one species and single conjugal bliss.
Day is Savita and night is Savitri. Wherever there is day there is night too.
Wherever there is night there is day too. Both are one species and single
conjugal bliss.
Heat is Savita and cold is Savitri. Where there is heat there is cold. Where
there is cold there exists heat. Both are one species and single conjugal bliss.
Clouds are Savita and rains are Savitri. Where there are clouds there are
rain and where there are rains there are clouds. Both are one species and
single conjugal bliss.
Vidyudeva savita stanayitnuhu savitri. Yatra hyeva vidyuttatstanayitnuhu.
Lightning is Savita and its thunder is Savitri. Where there is lightning there
is its thunder and where there is thunder there dwells lightning. Both are one
species and single conjugal bliss.
Yatra va annam tat prana iti. Ete dvai yoni ekam mithunam.
Prana is Savita and food is Savitri. Where there is Prana there is food and
where there is food there is Prana. Both are one species and single conjugal
bliss.
Veda eva savita cchandansi savitri yatra hyeva vedastacchandansi tadveda iti
Ete dvai yoni ekam mithunam.
Vedas are Savita or Cchanda is Savitri. Wherever there are Vedas there are
Cchandas and where there are Cchandas there are Vedas. Both are one
species and single conjugal bliss.
Yajna is Savita and Dakshina is Savitri. Where there is Yajna there rests
Dakshina and where there is Dakshina there is Yajna.
O revered sir that is scholarly and benefactor! This Brahmachari has come
here to serve you.
And he said that now I have understood it. Coming in this species or in this
conjugal bliss none of my Brahmacharis shall be of lesser life span.
Now the question is what is Savita? What is Savitri? Gayatri's deity is said to
be Savita. Every Mantra has a deity from which one comes to know as to
what is the topic of that Mantra. Since Gayatri's deity is Savita it is known
that this Mantra's topic is Savita. Since Savita predominates the other name
of Gayatri is Savitri.
Maitreya asked: O Lord! What is this Savita? And what is this Savitri?
Maharshi Maudgalya answers that Savita and Savitri are inseparably bound
to each other. What one is, is also the other. Both add up to a pair. One is a
center and the other is its energy. Both complement each other.
This fact can be understood only after profound thinking in a subtle manner.
Hence Upanishad authors by giving many examples render them wise. They
showcase this mysterious principle in such a way that anyone can understand
it with ease. They say:
Mind is Savita, speech is Savitri. Where there is the mind there speech exists
and where there is speech there is the mind. These are 2 species and single
conjugal bliss. Similarly following are called Mithun viz. fire and earth, air
and interstellar space, sun and Dyau, moon and Nakshatras, day and night,
heat and cold, Abhra and rains, lightning and thunder, Prana and food,
Vedas and Cchandas and Yajna and Dakshina. These are but a few examples
and by showcasing these examples Upanishad seers have shown that no
material can manifest singularly, cannot come to light and cannot become
widespread. Unmanifested things become manifest only when its energy
manifests. Only Almighty God is beyond the intellect. We can neither think
about him and neither on reaching near him can we accrue benefits. This
unmanifested Almighty God Savita via its energy Savitri manifests in the
ordinary and via worship of that energy only can he be attained.
On knowing about the mystery of energy and owner of energy Maitreya felt
very contented. He said that he his disciple has become self fulfilled with the
true knowledge of spiritual philosophy. I have now understood that any
disciple of mine that shall know about the mystery of Yoni and Mithun he
shall not have a short life span. He by looking upon peace as his inseparable
part shall not misuse it. Instead via wholesome usage shall accrue benefits
from all angles. In this manner after understanding the importance of energy
its wholesome users shall never live only for a short life span.
Brahma saw divine grandeur, Pratishtha and Ayatan and that was do
austerities. Lest the vow of austerities is imbibed then one gets reinstated in
truth.
That Savita via Savitri created Brahmins and they were made to surround
Savitri.
Tatsaviturvarenyam iti savitryaha prathamaha padaha.
Tatsaviturvarenyam.
Rig was joined with earth. Via Rig fire. Via fire divine grandeur. Via divine
grandeur female. Via female conjugal bliss. Via conjugal bliss people. Via
people actions. Via actions austerities. Via austerities truth. Via satya
brahma. Via brahma Brahmins. Via Brahmins religious vows. A Brahmin
becomes sharp via religious vows. He becomes self fulfilled and becomes
inseparable.
Those who know it in this manner and that scholar by knowing it gives
discourses in the same way, his lineage and life remains inseparable.
As long as Brahma was self centered till then there were no materials. But
when he wished that from one I become many then due to this desire power
this cosmos got created. When Brahma witnessed this world in it he saw 3
things that predominated. They were divine grandeur, reinstation and
knowledge. How can one attain these 3 extraordinary materials of
happiness? While unveiling this mystery Brahma said: Execute austerities. It
means zealously execute hard work. How is it possible? In which way via
penance desired things are availed? This also was clarified by Brahma in a
superb manner. Lest we imbibe the vow of austerities, lest with interest and
hard work becomes our very nature definitely one gets reinstated in truth.
Definitely the true path is unearthed and a creature treading this path attains
whatever he wishes.
Only true Brahmins and those that are divine in nature are elegible for the
above mentioned benefits in a permanent manner. This is a divine law. If one
wishes to become eligible for the above 3 energies in a permanent manner
and they wish to imbibe it forever they must become true Brahmins. In our
qualities, actions and inner nature divine sentiments must predominate. Only
then this divine principle shall stay with them on a permanent basis. Savita
and Almighty God via their Savitri, Sat energy etc have surrounded the true
Brahmin. We must make honest efforts to become a true Brahmin via
austerities, Yoga, Yajna, truth, love and justice so that we become eligible of
these 3 divine joys in the world.
Those who have this type of knowledge those that describe Gayatri thus his
life and lineage remain imperishable.
The word meaning of Gayatri is very commonplace. One cannot attain that
benefit by merely understanding it that one is generally capable of attaining
it. Almighty God has made certain people eligible for the 3 jewels called
grandeur, status and knowledge. Such people are surrounded with Gayatri.
It means that within the precincts of Gayatri those that have attained the
divine principle only they shall attain material and spiritual bliss. Those
whose hunger fire is intense for them even ordinary classed food become
their liking and nourishing. Those whose fire of hunger is weak for them
even pure unadulterated food makes them ill. A person's soul fire of hunger
surrounded by Gayatri executing divine activities is deep like this. Even with
meager amounts of food items he gets enough nectarine taste.
That one who knows that the real goal of Gayatri's 1st leg is to render human
life oozing with a vow of high stature idealism only such a one understands
its deep import. Those who put into practice this knowledge-meaning he
makes himself like that only his life remains whole and complete. It means he
does experience any kind of downfall in life and his lineage also does not get
destroyed. Later too till many births this sentiment does not get destroyed.
Due to this completeness he never experiences a dearth of grandeur, status
and knowledge.
That scolar on understanding thus describe the 2nd leg of Savitri. His linage
and life remain inseparable.
In the previous Kandika by conjoining Bhuhu to Rig the mystery of the 1st
leg was taught. In this Kandika the 2nd leg of Gayatri is being described.
Yajuhu is being conjoined to Bhuvaha and interstellar space. Yajuhu is
synonymous with Yajnas. Yajna is spiritual. In the 1st Kandika via
knowledge the method of attaining a life of sacred ideals was showcased.
Over here is described the sequence of leading a life of religious vows via
Yajna.
Via Bhuvaha in interstellar space Yaju was conjoined. Via Yaju air, via air
clouds, via clouds rains, via rains herbs and plants, via herbs and plants
beasts were conjoined. In the Bhagwad Geeta scripture, the same description
of method of Yajna is given. Via Yajna air gets purified. Due to contact with
purified air of good quality, water showers down. Via it trees, plants and
animals become imbued with great principles. By using it the psyche of
humans becomes great and via a great mind great activities are carried out.
That which is attained via knowledge later can also be attained via great
actions of great Yajnas. Great sentiments emerging from a high stature
psyche renders entire space and atmosphere oozing with truth and existence.
In this atmosphere all materials that reside in it become fulfilled with Sat or
existence. Even due to watery atmosphere man being immerse in Almighty
God Even due to watery atmosphere man being immersed in Almighty God
and religious vows leading to an inseparable life. This is the meaning of the
2nd Kandika.
Dhiyo yon aha prachodayatiti savitryastrutiyaha padaha.
Via Dyuloka it conjoins to Sama, via Sama Aditya, via the sun rays, via the
rays rain, via rain herbs and plants, via herbs and plants beasts, via beasts
actions, via actions austerities, via austerities truth, via truth Almighty God,
via Almighty God Brahmins, via Brahmins religious vows, via religious vows
a Brahmin has a brilliantly sharp, complete and inseparable lineage.
The 3rd leg of Gayatri has emerged from Swaha. Swah is Dyuloka. Dyuloka
has been conjoined to Samaveda. Via Sama sun, via sun rays, via rays rains,
via rays herbs and plants and to them are conjoined animals. By using it via
the type mentioned in the previous Kandika man becoming divine with
religious vows leads and inseparable life and lineage.
In all 3 legs of Gayatri that science is embedded via which man attains
grandeur, status and knowledge. The 3 legs are created from 3 Vedas. Every
leg symbolizes the 3 worlds. Via these 3 worlds these Mantras of the 3 Vedas
pull out required materials. In this manner a Gayatri seeker becomes happy
from all standpoints. In it there is not merely personal benefit but world
society too benefits. Just as by conducting a Yajna air gets purified, best
rainfall occurs and from it high quality crops and milk are produced
similarly via Gayatri this process gets fulfilled. This relationship based
sequences has hidden in it a very profound material science. How is one
material connected to the other one? We have described a little bit of it in a
spiritual based manner but in it there are innumerable mysteries present in
it. As per material science too these results manifest due to which a devotee
of Gayatri benefit quite well in the form of grandeur, status and knowledge.
Finally on attaining Almighty God he lives an imperishable or immortal life.
He does not get emeshed or bound by old age and death. This then is the
hidden mystery of 3 legged Gayatri.
Via Almighty God space is attained digested and realized. Via space wind is
attained digested and realized. Via space light is attained digested and
realized. Via light water is attained digested and realized. Via water earth is
attained digested and realized. Via earth food is attained digested and
realized. Via food Prana is attained digested and realized. Via Prana mind is
srealized. Via speech Veda is attained digested and realized. Via Vedas Yajna
is attained digested and realized. In those that imbibe this sort of knowledge
these 12 great elements are reinstated. In this Yajna reigns supreme.
Those who know fully well the mystery of 3 legs of Gayatri described in the 3
previous Kandikas via that Brahmin Almighty God is attained digested and
realized. It means that such a Brahmin attains Almighty God, after attaining
him he digests God within and he gets covered by God. Within and without
him only Almighty God's existence is at work.
It has already been said that via Almighty God space, via space wind, via
wind fire, via fire water, via water earth, via earth food, via food Prana, via
Prana mind, via mind speech, via speech Vedas and via Vedas Yajna is
attained digested and realized.
Almighty God cannot be directly visualized by our physical eyes. People with
little knowledge understand that this body made of 5 elements does
everything. They are told that these 5 elements and the consciousness of
mind, intellect etc within you are not separate from Almighty God but are
covered by it. Lest Almighty God had not covered them its activities come to
a grinding halt and not a single element can work.
He who in nature, in the body made of 5 elements, in the mind etc see God
immersed in them is called a true Brahmin. He is surrounded by Vedas and
Yajnas which means goodwill based wisdom and great activities are
widespread in every pore of his being. In all this knowledge Yajna and great
activities reign supreme. This is because that the essence of this knowledge is
that man must immerse himself in great actions. Anyone knowing this
mystery in him all beings is reinstated and dwell in them which means he
realizes that the widespread cosmos is within him only.
In the previous Kandika Yajnas were said to be supreme. But we must keep
in mind that those who say that they know Yajnas actually do not know
them. The reason is that some persons on seeing the external form of any
task infer whether they are good or bad in nature. But in reality there is no
relationship of Yajna with external work because it is dependent on inner
sentiments. This could be that someone does high profile charity and
meritorious tasks, Agnihotra or fire sacrifice, feeding Brahmins, pilgrimages
etc but in it their aim is to gain fame or some other benefits. In the same way
akin to a doctor performing an operation/surgery such tasks also can be
executed that appear to be sinful but due to the pious character of the doer
they could be great activities. Hence which person is doing Yajna or not this
decision can be taken the conscience of people. For outsiders in quite a major
way despite it being possible to know is not possible in a complete manner.
In the previous Kandika 12 chains were counted from one side but in this
Kandika they are counted from the other end. It means the sequence has
become lopsided:
Those who know thus, those that are Almighty God realized akin to
fragrance attains glory. Since he becomes sinless he enjoys infinite grandeur.
By becoming a seeker of divine wisdom he becomes a seeker of Upanishad of
Vedamata Gayatri. It means that he imbibes great divine wisdom as
described in this Upanishad in his psyche and his life oozes with it. Such a
Brahmin is a true knower of great scriptures.
