This academic article from NASA Science explains what black holes are, how they are
formed, and what they do. The authors do not have an opinion that is stated in the article,
about whether our universe was formed inside a black hole or not. They only provide
information necessary to understand why some people believe that our universe may have
been created inside a black hole; even though it does not say that in the source. Within
this source, the author explains main key points about a black hole such as the general
characteristics and properties that black holes have. NASA Science is a very credible
source concerning astrology and the stellar space. They study outer space and gather
information to make theories and discoveries about everything else thats around our
our planet. However, this source is also, completely research gathered by NASA and is
very reliable in this way. This source is my first source and has a lot of information that
Project (EIP). Other sources that I have, may have the same or similar information. This
needs to be known, as a background for why people believe that our universe is inside a
black hole.
Intense 5. Space Documentary 2016 - A Look Inside Black Holes. NASA, YouTube, 20 Nov.
This documentary that was posted on YouTube, is a very informational source about the
nature of black holes and their characteristics. Through the length of this video, it talks
about what black holes are, how they are formed, why they are created, and what they do.
It talks a lot about the same information that I have described in my last source. The
narrator talks about Einstein's theory of general relativity and how it relates to black
holes. The narrator does not talk about our universe being inside of a black hole and is
unbiased to any opinion. He only gives information about black holes. Thomas Lucas is
the writer/director of this film, he has written and directed plenty of other documentaries
and films that relate to this topic. I dont know if this source is very credible, considering
it was posted on YouTube. It doesnt display the actual title of documentary in the video,
it only give information that I have researched to be true. This source may not be the
most credible source that I have, but it doesnt mean that the information that I have
obtained from it, to be falsified or unusable. This source is not as great of a source as my
other sources that I have, so it remains to be on the bottom of the list of where I would
want to pull information from. I dont think that I will be using much information from
this source, considering that its not as trustworthy as the other sources that I have. I will
still use some information that I have gotten from this source, as a reference; only bits
and pieces.
Poplawski, Nikodem. Every Black Hole Contains a New Universe. Inside Science,
University of New Haven In Connecticut, talks about why he believes and that many
other people believe that our universe is inside of a black hole. He explains the theories
of general relativity by Einstein, and quantum mechanics and why they are important. He
is biased in this article but it does not directly discredit the theory. He talks about how the
universe was created; it so closely represents the same concept of how it looks when a
black hole is formed. Matter is created from high amounts of energy inside of a
singularity, and expands outward. He very strongly stands behind his opinion that the
theory that our universe, to exist inside of a black hole, explains all the questions that
scientists have about how our universe was created. He gives a lot of facts and evidence
of why he believes that inside our universe as well, other black holes may have their own
universes within them as well. This article is written by him specifically, and he is known
for believing in this theory. This source is very reliable, however, it may be biased to the
point where he is only saying what he wants others to hear. He doesnt propose any
questions that would flaw this theory. This source is directly related to my topic question
and is going to be a leading source in my EIP. I currently do not have any other source
that is related to the topic of my EIP. I decided on my topic question while doing research
so from here on, my course of research has been shifted. I do believe that this source will
help me shape my argument very well and that I have obtained a lot of valuable
information from this article. Nikodem Poplawski doesnt touch on the small points that
should be general knowledge to know, before reading this article. I believe that the
Smith, Heather R., Edited by Flint Wild What Is a Black Hole? NASA, Brian Dunbar, 4 Aug.
2017, www.nasa.gov/audience/forstudents/k-4/stories/nasa-knows/what-is-a-black-hole-
This academic article by NASA, edited by Flint Wild, and published by NASA Official
Brian Dunbar, is about black holes and their characteristics and properties. This article
gives a lot of the same information that has been previously proposed by other sources
that I have. It talks about some of the big frequently asked questions that people have
about black holes, such as Could a black hole destroy Earth? or If black holes are
black, how do scientists know they are there? This article gives information about those
types of FAQs and can possibly be helpful in writing my EIP. It does not talk about the
theory that our universe is inside a black hole. There isnt much new information to be
derived from this sources that hasnt already been said by other sources. This source is
definitely a credible one because it has been published by NASA. However, this article
was mainly written for grades K through 4. Not very much critical information is said in
this article, because it was written for such a young audience. I dont think that I will be
using this source in my EIP because of its lack of importance to my topic. It doesnt hold
much information thats useful to me or to beneficial for the knowledge of a reader. This
source is not very helpful to me in writing my EIP, so I think I will be excluding this
