Transitions:

For clean up time I will play Clean up Song by, The Singing Walrus because it is a

good way to catch students attentions without having to use my voice. This song is very

young so I would only use this as a transition song for my primary grades.

At the beginning of the day when everyone is ready to learn I will play the Hello Song

by The Singing Walrus. Eventually Ill want my kids to learn the song and sing along with

me. I chose this because its a very positive song that will que the kids to get mentally

prepared for the day and try to get into a positive mood.

I actually have a lot of brain break songs on my playlist but the Trolls one I think the kids

would get the most excited about because it has many characters from the movie Trolls

in the video that I found. I will play Trolls: Cant Stop the Feeling by, GoNoodle. I chose

this specific video because it has dancing so the kids can get up and move around.

Whats nice about their being designated dance moves is that then there wont be some

kids getting wild with their dance moves in class. I would use this video as a brain break

and I could use it in all grades.

This next song I found is a great one that I would use as a motivation when teaching

place values. This song is called the Place Value Song For Kids: Ones, Tens, and

Hundreds by, Numberrock Math Songs. I like this song a lot because it can be a good

way to get kids excited about place value and I can reference it throughout my lesson.

The Goodbye Song by, The Singing Walrus is a song that I would like to play at the

end of the day while everyone is getting their things ready to go. I chose this song

specifically because I feel that by the end of the day we are all ready to go but I want my

students to know that I still care enough to tell each of them goodbye as they are

heading out my door. I will want them to sing along to this song while gathering their

things and I will be sure to be at the door telling each of them goodbye when the song is

finished.
