Page 6: Verb Grammar & Rule Cards V-8 and V-9Print the cards on
cardstock and laminate for durability. Glue the upside down card to the back of the
one above it. When you have the whole set, you can hole punch the left-hand corner
of each card and store these on a loose-leaf ring for easy reference. Each card is
coded for use on the worksheets and verb tense reader.

DIRECTIONS: Review your rule cards for doubling final consonants
to form the past tense (V-8 and V-9). Cut out the verbs below. Sort
the ones whose final consonant needs to be doubled to form the past
tense from the ones that dont. Then write the past tense of each verb.
