A Daily 'Hand-Clapping' Practice of Sihamukh1

kechik rangnyi khandroma
In an instant I appear as the kin


seng dongchen kur salw
With the face of a lion, visualized clearly;


tukk ngak kyi trodu yi
The mantra in my heart emanating and reabsorbing rays of light


nj mal tsarch gyur
In order to eliminate entirely all causes of harm!

a ka sa ma ra tsa sha da ra sa ma ra ya p

Recite the mantra as many times as possible.


namo, tsa gy lama yidam lha
Namo! Root and lineage gurus, yidam deities,


khandro ddul drakmo yi
And the kin, the wrathful mother subduing the mras:


denpa chenp jinlab kyi
Through the blessings of your great truth,


jekha purkha btong sok
Turn back all curses, spells and evil sorcery,

mitn chak ch nyam nga kn
All forms of adversity, tragedy and threats of danger!


dangwar jep dra la jo
Turn them back upon the hostile enemies: bhyo!2


npar jep gek la jo
Turn them back upon the obstacle-makers who harm us: bhyo!


d dra jem tengdu jo
Turn them back upon negative influences, enemies and sorcerers: bhyo!


jeshul mepar dok gyur chik
May they be averted completely, without leaving any trace behind!

Clap your hands together as you recite this. Then:


trom rik ngak np t
By the power of the wrathful mothers vidy mantra,


changchub drubp barch d
May the mras that obstruct the attainment of enlightenment


nj mal tsarch n
And all causes of harm be annihilated,


samdn yishyin drubpar dz
And may all our wishes be fulfilled, just as we desire!
