1.0 Introduction to Organization (5-8 Pages)
The first section is a brief introduction of the company including its history, current status, and
performance record and management structure.

1.1 History (1-2 pages)


Describe the history formation of company and major milestones. Why this particular business? Why
not any other business? Need and motivation?

1.2 Current Status (max 2 pages)


Describe the company in quantitative terms. Use up to minimum five and maximum ten years
information on the company.

1.2.1 Financial Performance (max 1 table)


Data should be in financial terms (IDR/ USD). Provide key figures such as revenue, cost of goods,
margin, profit, assets, liabilities, cash etc.

1.2.2 Non-Financial Performance (max 1 table)


Provide Products, sales, employee, assets and location data which is not in monetory terms.

1.3 Investors and Owners (max 1 page) (max 1 table)


Provide information on ownership, shareholding pattern, investors and promoters.

1.4 Management Structure (max 1 page) (max 1 graph)


Provide information about the Current board of directors, their qualifications and brief profiles
(maximum 30 words for each). If possible, draw an organization chart and give profile of key senior
management employees, who are involved in strategies and policies

2.0 Strategic Orientation of Organization (3-4 pages)


Describe what you understand about the companies strategic orientation, in terms of vision,
mission, value systems and broad corporate policies all in separate sections as below:

2.1 Vision
Not only provide vision statement but also find out why and how that vision was formed. Vision
statement is typically only one (mention the source of information e.g. Annual Report or website).

2.2 Mission
Not only provide mission statements but also find out why and how of formation of mission. Mission
is normally consists of 2-3 or more statements. Differentiate between values and mission (mention
the source of information).

2.3 Corporate Governance and Values


Is the company transparent? What is the code of conduct within the company?

2.4 CSR/ Sustainability Initiatives, if any


Describe the history of community and social responsibility initiatives.

3.0 Strategic Analysis of Organization (max 6-8 pages)
How the company plans for the future.

3.1 External Environment Analysis (max 3-4 pages)

Use PESTEL analysis for national or global information. Describe the environment relevant to the
company or the environment having impact on the company including the government policies. Use
Porters 5-Force Analysis and provide latest information on industry and major competition. Market
share and growth data should be provided for the industry. Describe what type of market it is.

List what are benefitial to the organization under the head opportunity and similar analysis for the
factors which become threat. Summarize all your analysis into EFAS.

3.2 Internal Environment Analysis (max 3-4 pages)

Describe the value chain relevant to this company. First, the primary chain consisting of flow from
Raw Material ProdcuctionDistributionMarketingService. Then the secondafy chain
consisting of HR, R&D, IT and Finance. List the strength and the weakness factors separately.
Summarize all your analysis into IFAS.

3.3 Summary of Factor Analysis (max 1-2 pages)

Then the full summary is to be plotted in terms of TOWS Matrix.

FINAL REPORT

4.0 Long Term Strategy


You need to analyse if the company is having a long term strategy. Analyse whether the existing
strategy matches your analysis in the previous section. Can you recommend some new strategy to
the company and on what basis? You need to distinguish between Business Strategies and Corporate
Strategies. Your recommendation can be for both.

4.1 Business Strategy (max 1-2pages)


Analyze the company in terms of generic business strategy for each of their business.

4.2 Global Strategy (max 1-2pages)


Discuss what kind of strategy is followed.

4.3 Corporate Strategy (max 1-2pages)


Discuss if they have any diversification, integration or the outsourcing plan.

4.4 Recommendations (max 1-2pages)


What would you recommend?

5.0 Execution Plan
Describe what concrete steps are taken by the company to implement the strategy. The execution
strategy, in terms of :

1. Organization structure
2. Organization culture
3. Leadership style
4. Rewards and incentives
5. Policies and procedures
6. Quality assurance and benchmarking
7. Use of IT and Technology
8. Allocation of resources - funding

6.0 Evaluation and Conclusion


How the company plans to measure the success? Is it in revenue? Or the market share? Or whether
company has any annual audit to measure the deviation from the plan? Or whether the company
wants to use Balance Score Card?
