RECOMMENDATION LETTER

This is a moment of nobility for me to write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Sayed Hussain who has
been my student in the Department of Computer Science for the subject of Data Science and Big Data
Analytics. Sayed is, without question, one of the promising students I have taught at MPSTME, NMIMS.

Sayed is a careful and creative thinker with an eye for details and devotion to logic, which serves him well
both in academics and outside them. His work demonstrates an ability to integrate information to create
larger frameworks for discussions. He has the terrific ability to draw his own experience and observations
to develop thoughtful opinions on a variety of issues. Sayed already knew he wanted to pursue his majors
internationally when he took my course, but this did not diminish his intellectual curiosity about the topics
we covered in any of the subjects taught. His regular contributions to full-class discussions provided insight
both for his peers and for me as an instructor.

Sayed was also invaluable in small-group interaction with his peers. Without my asking, he took on the
responsibility of helping his classmates consolidate vast amounts of information into coherent sets of notes,
and he quickly became a study group leader. In addition, Sayed was very generous with his time and
energies. I remember him meeting individually with students several times before examinations to help
them master all the complicated concepts.

He is not only an excellent student, but he is also personally delightful. He is as confident within himself
as he is engaging and assiduous. As I got to know Sayed over the semesters, I became only more impressed
by the wide range of his abilities and by his modesty about them. He is an accomplished student with zeal
to achieve the best in his career.

I wholeheartedly recommend Sayed as a prospective Masters Program student. Coupled with his personal
qualities like intelligence, constant motivation and perseverance, he could scale the highest peaks in my
fields of interest. I believe that the course would prove ideal for him to improve his existing skills and thus
