INTRODUCTION
To study the relationship between the residential status and GPA score.

Students have various reasons why they are living in campus or living

off campus whether on purpose or not. Government has encouraged

students to live in campus from early education.

So we are conducting this research to see whether living in campus

helps students to get higher GPA score or not.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Our problem statements is to find out the things that affects the GPA of the
students who live in and off the campus
Some people think staying Inside the campus enables a student to arrive
early to class or even visit library frequently which helps them score a better
GPA.
But, on the other hand, there are also some student who stays off campus,
which may not ease them to arrive class on time or visit the library as
frequently as students who stays inside the campus.
HYPOTHESIS
We are expecting that the student who are staying inside the
campus will have more excellent GPA.

This is because the students that staying inside the campus

allows them to arrive early to the class, and also allows them
to visit library more frequently.
METHOD (INTRO)
The data was collected based on the students from various universities both local
and international.
We are collecting this data by online survey at Google Form.
On this survey the respondent were asked to answer few questions that related to
our research.
There are 104 respondents, 52 each.
We are using inferential statistics method.
From the data collected, we use the variance and standard deviation to determine
the spread of the data and the consistency of a variable.
To determine the number of data values that fall within a specified interval in a
distribution we are using Chebyshevs Theorem.

LIMITATIONS AND WEAKNESSES
Small amount of respondents due to time constraint.
Selecting respondents from various universities, local and
international cause others factors that needed to be also
considered to be overlooked.
From the 104 respondents, incidentally, bad sample are taken.
Fixing fixed range of GPA may cause imprecise calculations.
CONCLUSION
Students choices on frequency of going to the library and arrival time
to class are closely related to their residential status.
Based on the means from all samples, students that live off campus,
regularly go to the library and arrive to class a bit late are more likely to
get higher GPA.
This result is clearly illogical and contradicted to our hypothesis.
Thus, we reject it due to the limitations and weaknesses of our
statistical research.
RECOMMENDATIONS
A larger sample size
Make a specific Universities
Do not fixed the dependent sample
Include more factors
friends/network of friends
transports
part-time job
