1 PURPOSE
Purpose of this manual is to clarify the quality of the air useful to feed IMI STI actuators, positioners and
accessories in order to guarantee the correct behavior of these instruments and avoid damages.

Lobiettivo di tale manuale quello di definire la qualit dellaria utile ad alimentare gli attuatori IMI STI,
posizionatori e accessori al fine di garantire il corretto funzionamento di tale strumentazione ed evitare
danneggiamenti.

2 STANDARDS
ISO 8573-1:2010.

3 AIR QUALITY CLASS

The air quality class shall be equal to (see below tables, ISO 8573-1:2010):
- level 6 (for the particles mass concentration);
- level 3 or better (considering the pressure dewpoint and the concentration
of the total oil).
Warning The end user shall guarantee the correct air quality class.

La classe di qualit dellaria deve essere pari a (vedi tabelle sottostanti, ISO 8573-
1:2010):
- livello 6 (per la concentrazione massica delle particelle);
- livello 3 o superiore (per il punto di rugiada massimo e la concentrazione
dolio totale).
Lutente finale deve garantire la corretta classe di qualit dellaria.
