INFORMATION

The undersigned Assistant City Prosecutor accuses Mr. X and Mr. Y for violation of Sec. 4 par. (a) of RA
9160 or the Anti Money Laundering Act, in relation to Sec. 3 par (i) sub-par. (1) of the same Act, committed as
follows:

That on or about 23 July 2017, and dates subsequent thereto, in the City of Pasay and
within the jurisdiction of this Honorable Court, accused Mr. X, knowing that the amount of
P550,000.00 involves or relates to a portion of the proceeds of an unlawful activity, i.e., the
kidnapping of the minor, transacted the amount, whereby Mr. X, upon the instruction of Ms. Y, did
willfully, unlawfully and felicitously deposited the said amount to his ATM account with the
Philippine National Bank, making it appear that the same originated from legitimate sources, to the
damage and prejudice of the victim and her family.
