My Philosophy
I am a music teacher because I like to
share my love for music and people. I
first joined choir at age 11 and it has
become an important part of my life. I
first loved music for its unique ability to
express more than words alone. I have
grown to love it for its aesthetic and the
way musicianship shapes a person. An
ensemble fosters a special bond; it is
amazing to work toward an artistic goal
with others who share it. For many
people, music is really important as a
personal activity or endeavor, but I enjoy
it so much more when there is a
relational aspect as well, as in choir.
