The TRUE Nature of Time
This paper attempts to explain my thoughts on what Time actually is and whether or not Time
is something that should be considered as an inherent part of Nature.
…Current Time…
At the moment we see Time as something which is perceived to be an inherent part of Nature,
something that controls and directs many of the functions of our world and indeed Nature and
the universe as a whole. Time is something that we almost consider to be an all pervading
‘force’ as it were that along with the other forces we know of influence our reality.
As people we use Time a great deal to provide structure to our lives, to in fact provide us with
a high amount of precision so as to allow us to be able to achieve certain objectives
throughout our day. An obvious example would be allowing us to get up at exactly the right
Time in the morning for work. It is no longer acceptable or useful enough in our society that
we may look out and see the sun coming up and know that it is morning and therefore Time to
get up. We need more precision than that and so this is currently the job of Time.
The problem here is that because Time has become such an important part of our lives we
have projected that importance onto our understanding of Nature and the world around us. We
now believe that Time IS a part of Nature and this as you will see is where things go wrong.
It is important to separate Time from Nature because Time is simply a measurement system
that WE have created. Another way to look at Time is kind of like a spoken language such as
English or Spanish. We use language to help us communicate but the English language itself
does not exist within Nature. Nature does not know English, it is something WE have created
that exists outside of Nature to help us. That in a nutshell is Time.
Time is nowhere but simply in our minds. It does not exist in Nature. Were Time to exist in
Nature then the universe would be very different.

The TRUE Nature of Time
As I have said at the beginning of this paper Time is simply the measurement of motion.
Everything in the Universe is moving. Not just galaxies, stars and planets but you are moving
right now as you sit there and read this. Your body is made up of atoms and just like the Earth
moving and rotating about the Sun, these atoms are moving and rotating about each other.
Everything moves! And so if we think about Time merely being an expression of motion then
we can say with some confidence that it may in fact be possible to travel ‘through’ Time to the
future so to speak.
It is important to understand that although the above is possible we are not actually travelling
‘through’ Time because as I have said Time does not exist. All that has happened is that we
have slowed down the natural aging process in your body. And so you will not have travelled
‘through’ to anywhere nor have you magically ‘jumped’ ahead in Time. Time is not a factor in
what has occurred.
…How is it then that some people are able to 'see' into the future?...
A persons future is partly predefined by there own actions and decisions. If you think of the
choices you make in life as the points on a compass (North, East, South, West), once you have
made that choice you begin to move down a certain path, which is decided by the choice
(direction). That path will then lead to other choices and decisions some of which can be seen
before you encounter them kind of like looking further down a footpath in a forest and seeing a
big tree blocking the way before you even get to it. This ability has nothing to do with Time, in
fact if anything this ability is strongest in those that have very little perception of Time. We
know that tomorrow the earth will rotate and move around our Sun and we know that the
other planets and moons within our solar system will as well. We know this because the motion
(choice) occurring defines a certain path around our Sun which we can predict not just
tomorrow but the day after and the day after that and so on.

The TRUE Nature of Time
…If I were to believe their is no such thing as Time what would it mean?...
That is really for you to discover. You will begin to view certain things differently, certain
subjects and ideas will now appear stupid or ridiculous because of there close connection with
Time. On the other hand you may now find other subjects and ideas quite plausible. However
it is only when you have completely annihilated Time from your perception of the world around
you that you will understand fully.
