2.0 PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Wellhead facilities for will (at WH No.1) consist of the following utilities and
equipment.
Wellhead control system
Wellhead choke flange
Stone trap
Pig launcher
Chemical injection system
Choke flange has been installed at inlet of flow line in wellhead area whose
opening size determines the flow rate. In order to avoid any sand carry overs,
two stone trap (1+1) are designed to eliminate sands that may have produced
from well the accumulated liquid in stone traps will be routed into the well head
burn pit. Wellhead has been furnished with a hydraulic control system for
controlling the surface safety valves (SSV) and subsurface safety valves
(SSSV). The wellhead control panel and related remote terminal unit (RTV) will
be located under shelter.
Monitoring of wellheads with operator consol in the North Cluster (South
Azadegan Field) control room is possible via supervisory control & data
acquisition (SCADA) system.
Moreover, wellhead shutdown initiated locally either on the local hydraulic
panel or from local push button inside wellhead fence.
The hydraulic SSV will be closed by low-low and high-high pressure pilot
actions, the hydraulic SSSV will be closed only by pushing of ESD push button
and fire detectors action. A line break valve (LBV) on the flowline at the
wellhead area will be considered as a safe guard for the event of downstream
line rupture low-low pressure pilot is considered on wellhead area piping to
close SSV of the well in case of rupture UPS tream of the LBV. High-High
pressure pilot is considered on wellhead area piping to close SSV of the well in
case of LBV valve closure.
Injection packages including corrosion inhibitor injection package (PK-101),
wax inhibitor injection package (PK-102), asphaltene inhibitor injection
package (PK-103), scale inhibitor injection package (PK-104) and demusifier
injection package (PK-105) have been considered for well and will be injected
to line befor choke flange. Also corrosion inhibitor will be injected in well tubing.
Necessity of every injection package shall be determined after dynamic
simulation of pipeline during Detail design phase.
Diesel system
Diesel issued for emergency power generation this system is provided with
one diesel loading pump diesel tank and piping.
Flow line is equipped with launching / receiving facilities for cleaning the
pipeline pigs are equipped with all necessary relevant equipments and have
been designed to operate automatically from control room or locally.
