I am thoughtful because I try to be friends with everyone in the school. I am kind to all my
friends in our class. I am excited because I love coming to school every day! My favourite
subject is science, I love doing science experiments.

TEACHER COMMENTS
Sally is an excited, engaged learner who comes to school with a positive attitude and a
passion for learning. She actively listens in class and quickly and easily follows instructions.
Sally works hard at speaking French in class, which I can see reflected in her strong writing
skills. In math, Sally has shown that she can use strategies to add and subtract. She also
showed excellent comprehension of the numbers in French up to 100 when presented
orally. Sally has also shown positive organization skills, neat handwriting and colouring.
During a science experiment where we experimented making rainbows with flashlights and
different objects, Sally was engaged throughout the process of inquiry and observation.

NEXT STEPS
I love the way Sally contributes to class discussion using her French language skills, and
hope for this involvement to continue. This will continue to help her develop strong French
writing skills. Sally will continue working on developing her pictures to accompany her
writing, adding details and colouring. In math, Sally will continue to use the strategies
provided to add and subtract numbers up to 10. I hope to see Sallys continued
engagement in subject material and passion for the French language, and we will work
together to build off this energy.
