d. Activity Description following guidelines for task analysis. How will you explain to your
participants how the activity will go?
1. Everyone sits in a circle facing each other.
2. The leader goes around the circle naming each person ketchup, mustard, or relish.
3. The leader calls out either ketchup, mustard, or relish.
4. Whichever group the leader calls out, those people stand up and must run around the
circle and try to get back to their original spot.
5. The last 2 people left not in their spot must go into the center of the circle and become
smelly onions.
6. The game continues this way until there are more smelly onions than anyone else.

e. Primary interaction pattern(s):
Multilateral Smelly Onions is an action of a competitive nature among three or more persons
with no one person as an antagonist.

f. One researched adaptation specific to a disability group:
Im adapting this activity to participants who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Normally, the
leader calls out ketchup, mustard, or relish. Instead of yelling out each category, the
leader is going to create large cue cards prior to leading the activity with KETCHUP,
MUSTARD, and RELISH written on the cue cards. The leader will hold these up instead of
yelling out the group name.
