Activity
Description
following
guidelines
for
task
analysis.
How
will
you
explain
to
your
participants
how
the
activity
will
go?
1.
Choose
a
person
to
go
first
2.
The
first
person
says
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
they
then
say
an
item
that
you
would
buy
in
the
grocery
store.
An
example
would
be
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
onions
3.
The
play
continues
to
the
person
to
the
left
of
the
first
player
this
player
then
says
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
they
first
say
the
item
that
the
person
before
them
said
and
then
they
add
their
own
item
after.
An
example
would
be
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
onions
and
cheese.
4.
The
plays
keep
continuing
left
and
each
person
adds
their
own
item
to
the
list
If
a
player
forgets
an
item,
says
the
wrong
item,
or
says
the
items
in
a
different
order,
they
are
eliminated
from
the
game
and
the
player
to
their
left
continues.
5.
The
winner
of
the
game
is
the
person
who
did
not
make
one
mistake
and
they
are
the
last
one
still
in
the
game.

Two
different
types
of
activity
analyses
forms
will
be
used.
For
your
first
two
activities,
use
Stumbo
and

and
for
your
third
activity
use
Porter.

One
researched
adaptation
specific
to
a
disability
group.
Be
specific.
For
example,
saying
someone
has
anger
issues
is
not
a
disorder.
However,
a
person
with
anger
issues
might
be
diagnosed
with
conduct
disorder.
You
may
not
use
a
particular
disability
or
disorder
more
than
one
time.
This
game
is
a
fun
way
to
work
on
short
term
memory.
People
with
Down
syndrome
have
an
easier
time
remembering
things
they
can
visually
see,
but
have
a
harder
time
with
verbal
short-term
memory
(Broadley,
1993).
This
game
is
a
good
way
to
practice
and
improve
auditory
memory
skills.
Remembering
all
the
items
from
the
grocery
store
may
be
hard
at
first
for
someone
with
Down
syndrome.
A
way
to
adapt
this
game
is
by
having
people
name
the
items
in
alphabetical
order.
For
example,
someone
might
say
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
asparagus.
and
then
the
next
person
would
say
I
went
to
the
market
and
bought
asparagus
and
bananas
and
continue
the
items
in
alphabetical
order.
Playing
the
game
this
way
will
help
them
to
remember
the
items
because
they
will
remember
what
letter
the
item
starts
with.
This
game
will
help
improve
a
person
with
Down
syndromes
short
term
memory
in
a
fun
and
creative
way.
