Preface

Villa hydraulic elevator microprocessor board controller ZXK1200is the

controller especially designed for the residential elevator up to 4 floors. The

functions and features are as following:

1.Apply the Microelectronics CPU and the high capacity control code

memorizer. The system has the strong ability in system expanding and function

upgrade and can upgrade programs conveniently according to the specific

requirement.

2.The high lum LED display and the convenient operator can easily finish

all the settings such as the polarity of ports, clock setting, password setting and

so on.

3.The memory function can monitoring the running status of the elevator.

Record the running time, fault code etc.

4. SMT technology delivers reliable quality and small & delicate

appearance to PCBs with low power-consumption.

5. High Anti-interference to work normally in the circumstance with high

electromagnetic radiation; strictly EMC-tested PCB confirm the reliability of

the board.

The Switching output gets two kinds of form: Transistor output and relay output. The electric

Chapter Two Configuration of Main Controller

2.1 General description

The villa elevator controller ZXK1200 have to set the parameters before use. Set the parameters

through the LED indicator and keyboard on the menu control panel which locates at the left under side as

following:

There are four LED indicator and four light contact push buttons. The definition are shown as the above

picture:

AttentionThe parameters adjustment have to do under the stop mode. Otherwise the operation can

2.2 Parameters Setting Description

Enter the menu list by entering the password. The detail steps are as following: Power on the controller

and push OK to enter the menu. Then implement the following step:

exactly right. The LED shows YES, thenFUN1 and access to the parameters

adjustment menu.

(4) The adjustment of FUN4 is same as the above steps. Just change the passwords to

maintenance time passwords. FUN5FUN6 do not need the passwords.

The operation of the key board are as following:

1 Roll the menu list through the UP and DOWN buttons.

2 Enter the sub-menu by press the OK.

3 Press the OK button to enter the parameters adjustment if there is no sub-menu.

4 Press ESC to back to the up-menu without save.

5 After entering the setting menu, the parameters are spark to indicate this position can be adjust.

Press UP to increase the value and DOWN to decrease the value.

6 Press the OK to confirm and save the modified parameters. And the system shows YES to

indicate the parameters are saved and ERR means the wrong parameters.Then back to the

up-menu.

7 All the input parameters are algorism date.

FUN1 includes 14 sub-menus. They are incharge of the elevator operation parameters setting.

FUN2 includes 10 sub-menus mainly for the control setting and polarity setting..

(8) F2-8 Random operation.This parameter is set for the test of the elevator. The elevator will

simulate many random signals after enable this parameter. This parameter can not save and the run

time can check in the menu.

(9) F2-9 In inspection mode, any limit switched activated, system will stop. When lift stops, if the

upper limit switches activated, lift will run down; by contraries, it will run up. If two switchs

activated both upper and lower, system will get fault P-67.
(10) F2-0 Second door lock/ Underload enabled

Lift runs normally when second door lock works well ( whether the underload is activated or not.)
If second door lock is invalid, but underload signal activated, lift still can run. But if underload
doesnt work , lift cannot run. Second door lock signal will not effect the re-leveling with door
open.
2.2-3 FUN3 Menu Description
FUN3 includes 2 sub-menus and mainly for the floors setting:

1 F3-1 Set the max floor number and the range from 2 floors to 4 floors.

NoteThe floors setting must be correct.

2.2-4 FUN4 Menu Description

FUN4 includes four sub-menus and mainly for the maintenance protection setting.

For setting the maintenance time setting, the

setting only can be changed by the staff that has this password. The default code is 00000000.

The default setting is 0000. The system has no limit

infuction when set the code as 0000. In the condition of the setting of 0ABC, the elevator stop

and enter the maintenance mode after ABC hours (All the functions will be cancel in this mode).

After finishing the maintenance, this parameter should be reset to 0000 or other value to recover

the elevator.

(10) Enter the new password when LED shows SD01The first four characters of the

new password. Begin the input in 0000.

(11) Enter the new password when LED shows SD02The last four characters of the new

password. Begin the input in 0000.

(12) The LED shows YES to indicate the successful input of the new password.

Note1The enable password is the pre-set authority password.

2. F4-2 Elevator maintenance time setting

NotePls remember the password clearly after setting.

3. F4-3 Run times.

The elevators run times is recorded in this menu. The maximum value is 99999999. The

menu shows the first four digits of counting and show last four digits after delay. The system

will reset to zero once the value over 99999999.

2.2-5 FUN5 Menu Description

This menu shows the fault records recently. The fault record can be checked with page

up/down and four records are the maximum.

The fault clears after the trouble recovered.

Display the version no. for managing the software.

Chapter 3 Function Description

ZXK1200 controller applies the elevator of hydraulic drive. The floors up to 4. The inner functions are as

following:

31 Operation Mode
311 Auto Mode

In this mode, the elevator runs according the car calls and hall calls and automaticly runs to

the destination floor,, dec, level, park.

312 Manual Mode

In this mode, the car only runs with continuous pushing the button. No matter the car calls or

the hall calls. Once releasing pressing the button the elevator stops at once.

313 Inspection Mode

The elevator runs slowly with pushing the inspection up or inspection down. Once releasing

pressing the button the elevator stops at once.

314 Auto levelling Running

The car may out of the leveling position in the door zone in some cases. The controller will

relevelling according to the position of the car.

315 Home Running

When the home running fuction is enabled, the elevator will run to home floor after the fixing

idle time.

32 Running Description
321 Safety running signal

It is one precondition of the door open relevelling. If the door open relevelling modular

confirm the condition of the door open relevelling, this modular give a control signal as feedback and

control the car auto relevelling.

3 22 Overheat protection signal

Its used for checking the temperature of oil and motor. After it motioned the elevator enter the

overheat protection mode:

In inspection mode: Doesnt affect.

Not in inspection mode: The car does not be affect when the car going down. If the car is

running up,, the car will park at the nearest floor and recover if the temperature back to

normal.

3 23 Overload Signal

If the signal occurs in the door zone, the lift stops to run. The car continues running if does not

in door zone.

324 Conglutination Signal

This signal occurs in the condition that the contactor has a conglutination. The lift stops work

when conglutination happens.

325 Door Lock Signal

The lift can not run without the door lock signal. If the lift is running, the car will stop at once

if the door lock signal missed. Do not open the door out of the emergency.

3 26 Safety Circuit

Safety circuit can protect the elevator from danger. The elevator can not run if the safety

circuit cut off.

3 27 Main Supply Detect signal

This signal is for checking the working condition of the main power. The signal will output

when the main power off and register the car call of first floor to enforce the car go down to

the first floor.

3 28 Concurrence of the inspection up and inspection down signals

If this case happens when power on, the controller will give the fault indication and stop the

elevator till the fault solved.

3 29 Calls buttons conglutination

When the conglutination happens on the calls, the controller can give the fault alarm when

power on and stop the operation till the problem is solved.

3 210 Up/Down limit switch

The controller announces the fault and stop the lift in condition of the motion of the up/down

limit switch at same time. The system will recover after the fault solved.

The elevator turns in to the low speed operation when the car goes down and active the down

limit switch.

The elevator turns in to the low speed operation when the car goes up and active the up limit

switch.

321 1 Speed exchange signal

This signal acts two roles both as speed exhange and floors identify. Normally, this signal

motions for two times and decelerate from one floor to another neighbour floor.

3212 Run time protection

When the elevator single full trip operation time in up direction is 10 secs longer than the

normal one, the controller will achieve the run time protection. The normal run time can set in

the menu. If this protection happened, the lift stops and only can move down in next operation.

Recover the fault after the maintenance and reset the power.

33 Control Description of the output signal

331 Running signal

The signal keeps outputting when the hall door is opening or the elevator is running. After the

elevator stops or the hall door closes, this signal will colse after a delay. The hall calls are not available

when this signal is outputting.

332 Relevelling signal 1Relevelling signal 2

The Door open relevelling modular acts when receives the signals from input of the up

leveling signal, down leveling signal. Another action condition is it receives the signal that one of the up

leveling signal or the down leveling signal connected meanwhile the door zone connected.

333 Car light signal

The car light signal outputs (indicator off) when the hall call opens in the normal running status.

And the signal closes (indicator on and opposite phase output) after a preset time when the elevator does not

work.

334 Overload buzzer output signal

The signal outputs as a alarm to indicate the overload.

335 Emergency light ouput signal

The back up supply output if the main power cut off. The output time is same as the lift in

ruuning indicator signal.

336 Fan Signal

This signal is synchronous with the car lignt signal.

337 Car call register light

1The car call of first floor applies the relay outputs without voltage. The floors of 234 use

the voltage output (Use the common port with call input button). When the lift register/run light turns on

the stop light should be off.

338Up/Down arrow direction indicator

Q7Q8 are the output port of the direction indicator. Q7 ouput and Q8 off when the car goes up. Q8

ouput and Q7 off when the car goes down.

339 Floor indicate output

Q14Q15Q16 are the output ports for the BCD code. The combinations are as following:

Chapter Four System Installation & Wiring

4.1 Controller & PCB Installation

Please perform the installation with the mechanical specification of circuit boards, setting holes and

necessarily make sure that electrical parts do not in contact with others.

4.2Wiring Attention
Note: The point here is to prevent interference and its resulting effects. Details as below:

4.2.1 The enclosure of motor must be grounded and directly in connection to PE, the ground line (not the
enclosure absolutely). The dimension of ground line should more than 4mm2 and larger in case of
motors with biger power.
4.2.2 The enclosure of control cabinet must be grounded and directly in connection to PE, the ground line; the
grounding line of landing doors and car could be connected to grounding head of control cabinet.
4.2.3 The metal cover of landing floor box must be grounded to prevent the unit from interference and
damage resulting from static electricity that discharges high voltage to the board in case of an arid
climate.
4.2.4 When using multi-core cables, its always to avoid using high-volt circuits and low-volt circuits within a
same core-line. In case the cable has free space for more applications, its practicable to leave the
space for free rather than connect to high-volt circuits to reduce and avoid interference.

5.1 Before adjustment

5.2Inspection Run
The slow running should satify the following conditions:
1Safety circuit works wellP14 on
2The contact conglutination checking input is Ok. P9 is on when the lift is stop and off when the elevator
is running.
3The main power checking signal is OK. P25 is on in condition of the main power input well and off if
there are something wrong with the main power.
Run the elevator after power on and check the working status especially the floor and running
direction on the LED. During the running, confirm whether the floor indication can recover if the display
are wrong when power on. Confrim the car will not move once it reach the terminal.
If the above conditions can be satified, the elevator is basicly normal. Otherwise, check and find the
faults.

5.3Normal Operation
511 The normal operation should get the following conditions

3Door lock switch inputs well.
4The main power checking signal is OK. P25 is on in condition of the main power input well
and off if there is something wrong with the main power.

512 Manual operation

Set the elevator into the manual mode. Keep pushing the call buttons to drive the car to the

destination floor. The car will stop once releasing the buttons. During the operation, please carefully

check whether the car decelerate or not when passes the decleration point.

513 Atuo operation

In the auto operation mode, the car runs according to the registered calls. Find out the fault if

the lift does not park at the appointed floor.

5.4 Operation in main power off

If the power is off when the elevator is running in the up direction, the car should stop immediately and

do not respond to the up calls. But the elevator can run down, the car call light of the first floor turns on and

the emergency light signal outputs. If the elevator is running down and turns off the power. The car runs

down, the car call light of the first floor turns on and the emergency light signal outputs. In this condition,

the car only can run down and can not run up.

Carefully monitor the input and output incicatior of the controller and the sequence of the output

signals.
