Ensure that all mechanical fabrications and installations have been completed, & no
remaining scope related to the Test piece.
All welding seams of the LPG pipes shall be free from paint, grease, oil etc which may
hinder any leak during the test.
Any fitting (pressure gauges, relief valves, level sensors, Pressure switches, etc.) shall not
be fitted to directly to the Test portion and those shall be blanked using blind flanges or
dually isolated from the system .
Make sure to check the all gauges are dually calibrated & the tags are in place.
There should be continuous supervision/monitoring of the FP pipe line from the start of

Then pressurized the system by using pressure pump. Max. Pressure will be 20 Bar.
Working pressure will be 5-6 bar. That will last for 24 hrs & the readings will be noted

If there any pressure drops, Pipe line inspection will be commenced. Once the defected
joint identified, the rectification will be commenced.
After completion the rectification, entire procedure will be resumed. Measurements &
the time will be recorded.
